General Dollar is official. They have everything you need at very affordable prices. They are no different than Family Dollar. My only problem with them is that the store is aways unorganized and not fully stock. I know I can not be the only person that feels that way. Either than that, there detergent and dish liquid is official. Despite my personal feelings about the store,it's a good company to invest in. There stock is over $100.00 Dollars a share. They are doing something good as a company.

I'd say about a third of the time, the looks like it's been ransacked, but the other two thirds offer a nice experience. They need more cashiers on at one time though, as far too often, there's only one. Checkout could be faster and the staff need to work on their customer service skills. The last time I went my cashier literally said, " I hate when the customers try to have a conversation with me," as I walked up to the register. Excluding the staff, the store isn't bad.

This store is a mess. Unpacked boxes are everywhere but on shelves. Staff doesn't offer help. Very difficult to maneuver with a cart. Poor management.management.

My experience at this Dollar General was not that good the store is big and has a good selection. But this store is dirty and unorganized there are boxes everywhere and everything looks trashed. And they don’t have a public bathroom ether. The employees are decent but I would not recommend this Dollar General location

You can find a great variety of products at a low price. One thing I don't like about this store is that they treat customers as thief's. From the moment you enter the store to the moment you exit you have all eyes on you which in my opinion makes it an uncomfortable environment. The stuff can be rude at times. If you are planning to get a job here not the best place to work at.

I love this DG first time visiting this store. The store is clean very quiet and had a 100% off this week coupon sales item. I loved it, I went at a slow time, so there were only a few other customers and the check-out was no waiting.

They do their best all things considered. Most things are in stock, staff isn't the friendliest, but most will help if you ask and are normal. Prices are usually better than other dollar stores in the area.

Last time I visited was towards the end of the month 2 registers open one of the cashiers was flirting with some guy which was holding up the line and it was hot in the store when it was pretty warm outside. Check the store times when it’s not crowded I go for laundry detergents and cleaning supplies use the coupons to save money instead of paying full price save your coins. They so carry variety of food items if you can’t get to the supermarket.

I've never been to the dollar general before and I must say that for this store to be in a relatively prime area, it was barely stocked and the floors were dirty. However, the customer service personnel was nice hence the 1 star. Maybe I'll try them out again and change my review.

This store offers a lot to the locals,a wide variety of products. The prices reasonable. however, check out is still in the 80's and customer service moves at a glacier pace at best when checking out. There is never enough registers open, even during high volume times in the store.

Was honestly my first time in the downtown store and it's bigger than I thought. The large was clean and was completely stocked up. I still obviously prefer only paying a dollar at Dollar Tree for certain things, but they definitely have a larger variety here.

They need to do a better job at keeping the store in order and presentable. It's stuff strewn all around& piles of cardboard boxes stacked high. Just an accident & law suit waiting to happen.

This one could ne stocked better than it is. I have more security following me than employees helping me. The place is dis organized and messy. It needs to have more employees working and keeping it clean. It just needs a better management

Even though, this location is large & has potential to be great like the location in N Arlington, this place is always under stocked, messy, and unorganized. Love DG, but all DGs don't represent the name well. I tend to visit this location because it is close to my job. that's the only reason, I tend to visit here!

it was an okay experience some staff was more helpful than others and some staff had an attitude they should not bring to work with them but overall great workers great help great deals Staff is available for help overall good experience man problem being the lines at the register

Nice black young guy let me use his phone because my western union wouldnt go thru on my phone.. He didnt rush me or anything.. The lines were quick & they were fast workers. Wish i worked there with wonderful ppl like them.. No attitude. Maybe cuz they were men most females have attitudes like they hate their jobs. Its ppl out here who needs work remember that lil attitude darlings ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Unfortunately. I only go there because it convenient. But the store is always messy. Boxes everywhere, merchandise in the floor never have anything on the shelves. The associates are friendly .

The location of the store is great but there is a shortage of staff so either there is a long queue at the cashier due to the fact that there is only one cashier at the stand or the store is a little disorderly. If they could employe more staff, then dollar general would be really functional.

Depending on what day you go the place is organized but other times the store is upside down with boxes all over the place and products out of stock However the prices are good and most of the staff is friendly and willing to help and the bus is at the corner so convenient to travel

General Dollar located on Market street and Hasley street located in the old Macy's building in Newark business district. Great deals , the store very orderly and store staff very kind. Have great selection general items from medicine , home goods ,article of clothing in the event you need extra shirt for mishaps while traveling. Great deals

Super mini Walmart. It's great they have lots of cool stuff and great prices on most stuff. I would go again and recommend. However I would like to see their Health and Beauty aisle stocked better and a shorter line at checkout.

Dollar General was a nightmare today they uboats with merchandise blocking the aisles, they were short staffed and the customers were giving the 2 cashier's a hard way to go. People please have consideration in this time. I was on line 15 mins because both customers were putting stuff back making the cashier's take stuff off there order. People if your not prepared to check-out please don't get on line and make everybody else suffer.

Google says it's open and that they are open til 9 but u really can't tell when you go there. 9/6 me and another lady was trying to open the door but they said it was closed and that was around 4pm
