Horrible store purchased bolts with the assistance from a worker. The bolts ended up not fitting!!! When I went back to exchange the bolts as I was told I could then Joan claiming to be the manager refused to allow to exchange the bolts with the receipt and unused bolts. Have shopped at this store for 40 plus years. Will never shop here again

This store has basically everything a full size hardware store should. It's quite large, and I had to ask the lady behind the counter where I could find what I was looking for. She was most helpful, and directed me right where I needed to go. I found everything I needed, and all at a fair/competitive price. Whenever I need something for home repairs/construction in the area, I'm confident I'll find it there.

I love this Ace Hardware location because it's fairly close to my home, and it's a low-key, old-fashioned, home-grown place. When I'm not interested in the hustle bustle of the big Home Depot or Lowe's, Brite Lumber & Home Center has everything I need. They also have a "this-and-that" shop in the back that they call the "Serendipity Shop." It has lots of cute (mostly pre-owned) decorative items to spruce up your home. Great, helpful, knowledgeable, friendly staff makes it special. Love this place!

Went to get some insulation due to an issue at my mom's house, finally found where it was. Two Rolls.. I asked the gentleman how much the smaller one was and he told me "I don't know, the prices keep changing" . That's all I needed to hear and promptly paid for the items I already picked up and left.Update:02-1 Once again I visited my local hardware store for a need now item. Surprisingly I had no one following me around the store and was able to acquire my items in peace. Then going up to the register I was very politely greeted by two youngerEmployees. The female clerk wasted no time to invite me to her register to check out while another customer was being helped by the other young gentleman. Both of them were extremely nice as we conversed about my items. They Even helped me get my 5$ coupon working. Then as we were leaving they said goodbye. (Funny how small things like this can improve your day)I really hope they can get more employees who actually have customer service as a priority. Thanks to these two young people I fixed my rating accordingly. Thanks again. Because of them I will be returning. Another update, went by again today 9-30-22 and the lady at the register was super polite and helpful..

Never coming back after the way the ancient man treated my mother today (who can noticeably not walk). If someone decides they don’t want something, it’s not the customers job to put it back. If you’re too decrepit to do it as the employee, time to retire. I’ll travel to Hamilton next time

These folks are so nice and helpful. I highly recommend stopping in there first to see if they have what you need before driving a half hour to Home Depot. I stopped in there yesterday to get a plunger for my kitchen sink. They didn't really have what I was looking for out on the Shelf. Joe the owner was there. He immediately said you know I think I might have what you need in the back room. A few minutes later it came out with just what I needed. Even if Joe wasn't there I'm sure that his employees would have went the extra mile to see if they could find what I needed. Everyone there just seems to be like that, very helpful. I came home used my plunger which by the way was only $4 I couldn't believe that, anyhow it worked like a charm. Thank you Joe and your employees for always being so helpful and courteous.

Great hometown business. Helpful staff and a good amount of inventory for a small store. In fact, I recently needed a fluorescent light that one of the big box stores did not have in stock, but sure enough, there it was at Brite Lumber(Ace Hardware).

It's handy for me as I live nearby. The staff are all friendly and most helpful. Not as big as the home centers, but so far each time I've needed something I've been able to get it there saving me a long drive. I like it!

Just checked out Brite Lumber and Hardwate. Awesome store! The way hardware stores used to be.Excellent selection of stuff you need as well as hard-to-find items.I'll make this my stop before a big box from now on.

ACE Hardware in a little Town in New Egypt, New Jersey. But they everything you need or they will get it. There not your regular Hardware store at all. They are so caring for every customer. You don't get that anymore. This is a must store you have to get too. You will never stop going. It hidden on a back road but once you find it, you'll always keep going. Love this place

Always a great place to find something unique that you cant find at large hardware stores. Employers are friendly and even with a black out ( NO POWER AT ALL ) helped and sold me what I needed so I didn't have to come back. Ty guys !

Store should be renamed to brite no lumber since they dont sell ANY wood. Employee said they stopped carrying wood because of the price. I'm not even sure what that means but I drove here for no reason.

Cold cold coldThis place is unreal, in the winter there is no HEAT! Really no HEAT!Put a can on the counter for donations for heat, get a pellet stove, have winter coats for the customers and employees.HEAT would also improve the employees attitudes which definitely needs tuning-up!
