Just bought hot fried chickem that was terrible! Dried out....all breading and dried out chicken... .even though date was tomorrow. I was so disappointed as I shop there frequently and was so looking forward to the fried chicken.I wasted $10.00 !

I like to go to this Shoprite if I only have a few things to get and I want to be in and out. It’s about half the size of a regular Shoprite and has a pharmacy and liquor store inside as well. I took off a star bc the produce section is definitely lacking and the produce that they do have in stock is usually beat up/not fresh looking.

Store is ok but the young blonde working courtesy 3:40pm 02/25/23 just standing there laughing with guy wearing fuzzy hair piece. I gave her the make model and license plate # so she could tell this person to park in an actual parking spot cause I almost hit them driving on the one way part of the parking lot. But she didn’t she was standing in the counting room looking at me when I left. These kids are so LAZY!! My GOD! I almost hit this car. You can plainly see it’s parked in the lane not a parking spot. Both cashier & customer are clearly brain dead.

Shop rite shouldn't be able to sell hot food to people that has been cooked under a heat lamp for days to the point its hard as a rock and unedible. This has happened several times. Disgusting.

If you want to travel back in time to a Shop Rite from the 1970's, then this is your place. Everything about this store is outdated, but for a quick food shopping run, it is not bad. Parking can be an issue at times, just like the aisles inside the Shop Rite. They have all of the basics that you would need for a quick visit. Not sure about a weeks worth of groceries. They do however have a few self checkout lines available.

It is definitely the smallest one in the area. So it does not have a great selection on certain items. It still offers a range of items including flowers, deli, and produce.Been around for a very long time and yes the exterior and interior are very dated but still a good place to shop.

Great little local ShopRite. WAY smaller than the one in Byram and Flanders that this one is between. But, great for quick shopping trips. I am there easily 3 or 4 times a week. They are very nice and I don't like not giving a 5 star. But, there are some things that jusy lack... Damaged backs all the time by the flour, certain items they simply don't stock, etc. For their size, they dona great job. I've been told this is the first of the ShopRite stores owned by Ronetco. So, probably holds a special place in their hearts.

As I entered the store, they had a special in their front area tilapia one dollar, so I picked up two. As I went to check out they rang up one dollar off, so I called for help as I was at the self check out, took about five minutes for the customer service manager, to come back to me and tell me I’m sorry it was human error, she should’ve swipe the other way? Not really sure what that meant, and she informed me I must pay full price… I think they should’ve given me at least one of them for a dollar as that’s what it was marked as.I’m sure if I was in a bigger ShopRite, not The Netcong ShopRite they would’ve given me one for a dollar…

We're here in NJ for a funeral and to avoid hurricane Ian. (We're Floridians) We went to ShopRite for a few snacks for our stay at the hotel. It's an older building with tightly spaced aisles. But! It had a warm, welcoming atmosphere. And I couldn't believe the produce department! Apples for $1.00 lb! They had my hubby's faves, McIntosh. They're beautiful and fresh! We can't find McIntosh in Florida. And Gala, Fuji, Granny Smith, etc cost $2.49 to $4.99 lb. And the halo mandarins! Wow! $3.50 = 3 lbs. The meat department was appealing and the prices were on point. I wish there was a shop rite down home! I would be doing ALL of my shopping there. Oh, and the beautiful bell peppers were the largest ones I have ever seen. The staff were all very courteous. Thank you for an enjoyable shopping experience!

whomever organized the aisles here should be fired. out of a cannon. into the sun. fresh produce and fresh bread options are very scarce, it's convenient they have a liquor store inside though. you'll need to pick something up to navigate this place. honestly this is a last option shop rite, if for some reason I can't get to Byram.

Bathroom review. Needed an emergency put stop and this shop rite delivered. The experience of finding this bathroom alone was a pleasant adventure, off the beaten path to ensure privacy. One of the cleanest bathrooms, they have a cleaning log in plain site to ease any concerns as well. 10/10.

Very nice supermarket....and very nice area of people....I was able to get what I needed quickly with help in the frozen section and Isabel was my cashier and she was so beautiful and quiet but attentive to my needing to buy bags to carry my groceries in......My first time being there and I'm hoping to shop there sometimes....

Buyer Beware!I bought a 3.03 pound (NET WEIGHT) pack of chicken breasts a couple days ago. Just opened it up and was dividing it so I could put some in the freezer and when weighing the chicken out discovered I only had 2.6 pounds. Put the packaging on the scale and yup...3.03 pounds. So I paid for the packaging as well as the chicken. Don't know if that was a one time mistake or a consistent practice, but I'll never buy meat there again without weighing it first.

Small, convenient and friendly. I like that I don't feel overwhelmed with a huge store. They have the essential items and if I need a big order I have other choices nearby. The staff is friendly and the store is older but has the things I need.

I love this place. This store has everything just less of it because it's an older ShopRite and on the smaller side. But if you don't need the newer giant ShopRite this is the ticket. It's clean organized and the staff are very friendly.

Not to busy, park close to front entrance.Use a basket to shop or deposit a quarter to release connected shopping carts.Store has a lot of inventory but not a large Deli or some of the amenities of the larger newer Shop Rites in the chain. More than adequate for everyday run of the mill trips to the grocery store.

I use the Netcong as a convenience store as it is the closest one to where I live. It is well-stocked given its small size (and also has the liquor store, which saves a second trip!) They put out some special deals on prepared meat and fish, which are excellent and save on time. All-in-all I like it.

I love this shoprite because it is it is small and personable. I shop there every couple of weeks and most of the employees recognize me. There was always an employee nearby when I need help with something.. I also use the pharmacy and I am very pleased with their service also.

I went down Christina’s checkout lane. Oh my Gosh! How will I ever go to another cashier again?? She did such a wonderful job, she was the best packer and she even gave my kids a sticker! They loved it! Give her a raise!!!! The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because I wasn’t aloud to use all of my coupons- nothing major.

It's small with a small parking lot and very tight aisles but it does seem to be well stocked and is usually clean and has what we need. We normally do not shop at this Shoprite but we will go if this is the closest Shoprite to our route. They also have a very small liquor store inside.

Just an FYI on this store. I like the location. It's eventually going to be knocked down to build a bigger and better Shop Rite with more varity. The houses around it have been purchased and demoed to make a larger store. I'm just hoping they donate the large spruce tree in front to NYC Rockefeller center. It's a beautiful tree and would hate for it to go to waste.

Good selection of most necessities but lately their always out of long loaves of cuban bread.Sometimes the manager finds them in the back.I feel like someone is failing to stock the shelves. Also they lack printing coupons that apply to what you purchase upon checkout. If you want repeat business and happy customers ShopRite execs...WAKE UP

I like this store because the liquor store section allows you to choose your shots in front of the counter eliminating the mistake of the clerk not giving you the right amount. Also this ShopRite is smaller with good selections so you don't say need to spend as much time or get caught up in all the other minutia.

I love shopping at this particular Shop Rite- the staff go out of their way to help you, and this is the friendliest, most upbeat Shop-Rite stores I have ever shopped at! Happy employees = many happy customers! I wish other Shop Rites in my area would use this store as a model for their employees. I do not live in this area, but choose to travel here often instead, because of the great attitude and friendly atmosphere of this store. Also, do shop here for meat purchases, ad it is to me always fresh and in-stock, again as compared to some of the other Shop Rite stores in my area.

The oldest and smallest Shop Rite. Small aisles, friendly staff. This is not a big supermarket. Small like something you would see in rural New England small. The POS systems and tech is current, but everything else--1970. Note self checkout is very good and only a year old.

Nice to see the outside of the building looks exactly as it did 40+ years ago when I was growing up! The weekly trip to ShopRite was a Friday night ritual. My dad would be home from work on Fridays at 6:00 PM sharp so he, my mom and I could eat a quick TV dinner (remember those?), before rushing to the bank drive-thru before to deposit his paycheck and get cash (!) for groceries. Then it was off to ShopRite. My favorite thing was helping pick out the sodas: you could mix-and-match a case of steel 12-oz cans for $1.99! We always got the frozen food last because it took FOREVER back then to get through checkout when there were no scanners and all the prices had to be keyed in individually! And it was so noisy: until around 1980 they still had those big mechanical cash registers that clunked and clattered as the clerk keyed in your purchases. Times have changed, food has changed, but it's nice to see this store still serving the community after so many years.

This place is so scummy and small. They have no selection compared to ledgewood or byram shoprite and I went to buy corn for Labor Day weekend abs found this guy. Obviously not uncommon but common guys check your stock this is disgusting…..

The young cashiers DO NOT BAG - scan and wait for payment or for you to finish bagging. The older cashiers bag! Per managers cashiers are to bag. They don't enforce.
