Now let's talk about bagel places in New Jersey and some of the reviews on here. Someone on here compared these bagels to dunkin' donuts and that was just fraudulent behavior. Do better. DD could never make something so beautiful as these.The staff here are super friendly. We showed up at 6:48am. There is a solid collection of bagels on the shelf. Lots of variety clearly cooked with love and passion. This place can absolutely handle whatever you're looking for if it is early morning or that lunch rush.Bagels have that crispy outside plush wonderful inside that you can just bite into and really help soak up some of the juices if you having a more meaty meal. Crumb cake is on point. The ingredients are high quality. They display them for you.I had the jersey strong which is an adventurous selection and well worth it.So if you happen to be in the year and you're trying to choose a bagel spot and you see all these reviews for you're not sure I'm going to throw it out here. You cannot go wrong with this location. Next time I'm in Jersey I will swing through.Kid-friendliness: They love the kids here bring them.

We were in town for a wedding and needed something for the morning after. These bagels were pillowy soft with a perfectly crisp outside. Highly highly recommend.

This is it! This is the place for bagels! I've been to a lot of different bagel places. Some of them aren't even worth mentioning. At this place you get a real bagel and real butter spread on thick. And it was a dollar cheaper than the buttered bagel I got from the previous bagel place I was in which didn't put nearly as much butter.Some places are so skimpy with the butter it makes you wonder why they charge you over a dollar for butter and they can't even give you some of it.And the bagel was great. This time I had the cinnamon raisin bagel with butter. The bagel was so good that I feel like I have to go back and try some of the other items on their menu so I'll go back to try some of their sandwiches and burgers.Edit.I went back the next day and had a bacon egg and cheese sandwich on a bagel. I was surprised how much bacon they gave me. A lot of places are really cheap with the bacon on the sandwich. This place gave me much more bacon than I've ever gotten anywhere else. Other places charge you for the food but don't give it to you. This place actually gives you food! And the sandwich was only $6.70.I will go back to this place often.I also tried the apple turnover which was very good. And they had free samples of their soda bread on the counter so I tried it and it was delicious so I'll come back to buy a loaf of it.

First time here, really hit the spot. Nice service, yummy bagel and quick! Soft chewy bagel with Taylor ham egg and cheese s/p/k Mmmm so good! Took about 5 minutes to make and 5 minutes to inhale🤣👏 next time I’m going to try lox on everything. Looking forward to my return!

This is my family's new favorite bagel and sub shop. The Parkway is awesome! Chicken is nice and crispy and they don't skimp on the good stuff.

Have been here a few times since they opened. The bagels have been fresh every time. When I got home and cut them open, they were warm on the inside like they had just been baked fresh. After a day, they were still fresh like I had just gone to pick them up. These are some of the best bagels I have had. This will be my families new go to to bagel place.

Not only does this place have the best breakfast sandwiches around (the only place that seems to consistently make their bacon and particularly their Taylor ham crispy and properly cooked), but their Buffalo chicken sub is to die for! Plus the staff is super nice and friendly. Super fresh and delicious food all around. Can't wait to try more stuff from their menu!

My Man Max hooked me up with the best Bagel in the area. Since Adam’s is no longer available make this one your habitual place for the best coffee and bagel. 💯

Phenomenal breakfast sandwich! Definitely worth checking out. Way better than any bagel spot around here and Ive lived here my whole life. Don’t listen to the few haters on the reviews here. The Karen’s of the world will always try and tarnish and amazing food spot. Definitely give this place a shot!

Meh. It’s alright. Not a lot of flavor. Had their Taylor ham the first time it was just ok. Then had something simple, a bagel with cream cheese which was oddly disappointing a whipped cream with no flavor at all. I guess if you gotta grab something real quick it’s alright. Otherwise quick checks butter roll is a lot more satisfying.

Sandwich was okay. Potato salad did not taste fresh and the pickles were 100% old soggy and sour. My hopes were definitely higher for this spot.

Ordered 2x now. Bagels are glorified Dunkin Donuts bagels. I get so frustrated when I get bad bagels in NJ, there's just no excuse for it. They don't have that nice soft chewy texture with a crunchy outside. It's like a roll. And they must use that whipped fake tasting butter that doesn't have flavor it's just oily and greasy. Same problem with their cream cheese, no flavor at all. The bagels don't have real flavor either. Cinnamon raisin could have been a plain and you wouldn't have been able to tell the difference. Hashbrowns tasted like old/burnt oil and extremely greasy. They went in garbage, they were inedible. Apple fritter was not great. Blueberry muffin was the "best" thing from the order. Nothing has been able to beat Alfa Bagels in Randolph (for the Morris County area that is).

If you can drive the extra 5 minutes down the road to Adam's in Budd lake, do it. I paid $12 for a Taylor Ham and cheese and hash browns. Hash browns were so greasy that my fingers were literally dripping with oil. Breakfast sandwich was decent, but nothing special. Expensive for mediocre food at best.

Ordered a prosciutto sandwich that was no longer on the menu and they were nice enough to make it for me anyway, and it was the best prosciutto sandwich I've ever had in my life. The prosciutto literally melts in your mouth. Amazing food and great customer service!

I’m not a fan of bagels but I cannot get enough of them from North Jersey Bagels & Subs! The food is top shelf all the way. Pastries and cookies and most everything else is made on premises! Try the cream cheeses (also house made). Spread the word (and the cream cheese at that). This is the place to be!

Everything from the bagels to the subs is delicious. We get bagels weekly and have gotten subs most weeks. Every time I swear the food gets better! So happy to have a true sandwich place back in the area again!

The people working are so friendly and nice! I got a bagel and a croissant. Both were fantastic very fluffy and fresh. I had a fantastic experience and highly recommend coming here!

$12 Cubano was a piece of ham 2 pieces of Taylor ham and Swiss. Not even worth $5. Just hit quick check across the street.

Abit pricey..if you are into the roll type consistency of a bagel then this is the place for you if you're looking for a regular bagel the way they should be this is not the place for you was it worth a try yes will I be going back sadly to say no
