Private golf club quality on a public course. Three challenging 9-hole courses plus a par-3 course, great practice facilities, large clubhouse, and friendly/helpful staff. I loved the layout of the course and just could not believe how well kept it was. This place is truly special

Our dream wedding!We had our wedding at Neshanic Valley Golf Course (The Valley At Neshanic) on 8.21.22 with the Valley Catering (Delicious Heights). It was absolutely a dream! The Catering Manager, Julia, & our Maitre d, Mercedes, were amazing to work with. Julia was extremely responsive and readily available via email. She worked with us for months and was so accommodating. Julia has the coolest personality and she was just as thrilled as we were to include our golden retriever at our wedding. Mercedes was amazing at coordinating the day of the wedding and did everything from helping guests and vendors to sewing a button that fell off my tuxedo.The location on the golf course was gorgeous and we especially fell in love with the outdoor ceremony space. They have a beautiful gazebo with amazing green hills and mountain views. During cocktail hour, guests could not stop talking about the amazing view from the wrap-around patio. Food was plentiful and was constantly being refilled during cocktail hour. The space was beautiful and intimate for our wedding of 95 people. I HIGHLY recommend Neshanic Valley Golf course for your event. We had our DREAM wedding and get excited every time we think about our special day. Thank you Julia & Mercedes!

Neshanic Valley Golf Course exceeded my expectations in every way. The staff was incredibly friendly, (maybe not so much the guy at the golf shop who checks you in. A smile wouldn’t hurt. Maybe you were just having a bad day). And the course maintenance was impeccable. The breathtaking scenery and top-notch amenities added to the overall experience. Highly recommended for an unforgettable round of golf!

I had a wonderful experience with David Chung. I got fitted for a set of Irons. David was very knowledgeable, didn't over complicate the process. I'd recommend David to anyone who needs a fitting or leason.

Came here on a weekday in April 2023- played Ridge-Meadow and had a great time! The fairways were relatively wide and there were a bunch of hazards but nothing unreasonable. There were also relatively few other groups playing, and the ones we bumped into also seemed to be having a good time. The greens were a little hard to read, but overall it was a 5/5 experience.

We are thinking of hosting a graduation party here. This would be an ideal venue for such an event. We were thrilled with the new decor of the place and love the attention to detail that they exhibited. The staff was extremely attentive to our needs and really aim to ensure that not only our needs were met, but the needs of the graduate. This would be a fantastic venue on any occasion and we are looking forward to all that it has to offer.

Played here quite a bit this Summer so far and let me tell you it's a hidden gem!!! Worth the drive if you are far...or not! 3 beautiful 9 hole courses! The Meadow is a bit tricky, but still a lot of fun!Their learning center is a great addition also - 9 hole course

i seriously cannot believe this is a public course for this amount. hidden gem. looks like we are in gods country when you see the views. only thing missing is a good bar life. (no liquor license yet) 10th hole i was getting thirsty. if you are a round a 90-100 golfer, go for the Blues and challenge yourself.

Course is in excellent condition. It definitely isn’t forgiving if you miss the fairway, but is a fun challenge. Definitely the best county course in Somerset County, and the cost of the round reflects that. The pace can be a bit slow, but it’s worth playing.

Beautiful course and layout. The views are spectacular. Challenging but not overly challenging, has holes for all levels. Grass driving range. The sand in the bunkers was nice powder. I will definitely be back.

Love that this is a hot municipal course in New Jersey. 3 x 9 hole courses with gorgeous bucolic scenery! Definitely Recommend!

Played for the first time at this location. Nice layout. In terms of course condition and layout I would go back. The negative was that it was a 90 degree day with high humidity with virtually no water available on the course after the 5th hole and no food available at 8:30 am which is when I teed off. I brought the water issue to the starter’s attention after my round but he essentially blew me off by telling me that wasn’t his job. The pro shop was equally dismissive telling me I should have gotten water on the back nine from the cart girl. The cart girl didn’t begin her day until we were on the 18th green. Better customer service and I would have given 5 stars.

People tend to forget that photographers who capture large weddings, working 10-12 hours, also need food and water. The bride paid for a plate for myself (lead professional photographer) and the other vendors. The caterers refused to let me have a salad because “I wasn’t a guest.” Even the bride begged them to get me a salad and they refused. The manager approached me with an attitude and questioned me as to why I need a salad- as if I had some type of ridiculous request. I’ve never gone through so much hassle for a salad! I asked for the salad after they forgot to give all vendors one being as though- the bride purchased meals for us so we were entitled to a salad and an entree. They still rejected the bride’s request and we were both so disappointed and disgusted. As a courtesy, I even waited until ALL guests received and ate their salads then entrees were being served- since photographers always get served last and still my SIMPLE ask was just too much for this venue. I won’t be recommending this venue to anyone since that is the way workers are treated, while dismissing the bride’s wishes.

Place is in phenomenal shape. Tee boxes, fairways, greens, all spectacular. First tee time of the day at 7 am and played in just over three hours. Wish I lived in Somerset County.

Great course, well maintained. Love the grass driving range and the pace of play was perfect. Even for a popular course it felt like a well oiled machine without them being overbearing with tee times and pace. Highly reccomended.

Love playing Neshanic Valley. The fairways were in great condition, the bunkers were fluffy. Only down side was players not fixing their ball marks on the greens.

Well maintained fairways. Beautiful setting. However, the greens have many divots and are hard and unforgiving. I'd play there again, but it's not my favorite course.

We had a Surprise birthday celebration at Neshanic Valley Golf Course with the Valley Catering (Delicious Heights).what a great venue! The room is beautiful and set up was perfect! The food was delicious and abundant. The bartender and servers were professional and friendly. Our Maitre d, Mercedes Lopez, was the absolute best- friendly, and attentive as she orchestrated all that needed to be done to experience a perfect celebration. Thank-you!

one of the best public courses around, they have a practice 9 hole course for all levels. Driving range, course is always in great shape. food is decent. if you want to go to a public course and get your moneys worth this is the place

One of the best county courses in NJ. Beautiful scenery. Only downside is mid August the greens are looking kind of beat up.
