First time using this groomer and I am THRILLED with how my dog looks. They were quick, friendly, and she looks and smells beautiful. Typically it costs a lot more and takes a lot more time to make her look this nice and she’s a tough groom!! Jasmin did a great job, would highly highly recommend

I wish there was an option for negative stars because that would be more representative of how poor the service is here. Brought my dog in to be groomed for the first time here. He had been groomed several times elsewhere without issue. I was called 15 minutes after drop off to indicate that he was being uncooperative and was trying to leap off the table, etc. The groomer tried to tell me that my usual groomer must be sedating him to groom him. Of course they weren't which I confirmed with a phone call. Further the Petco groomer was complaining how hard it would be to groom him when I dropped him off. My dog was shaking when I picked him up and they only partially groomed him basically giving him a crew cut, with uneven hair everywhere. I had to take him to his usual groomer to have him fixed so I ended up paying twice (by the way of course no problems at his usual groomer). This Petco charged me for not completing the service, which is outrageous. We will not continue to buy products from Petco any longer.

1st time tried out Petco Grooming also the last time. 1st they asked moved my appointment from Friday to Saturday, same time. I agreed then they move again on Sat to earlier appointments. I agreed again. This is our puppy 1st time got grooming my kids are excited to see how the puppy react so we stood outside the glass door to wait for our puppy turn. The groomer name Jasmin then came out and told us don’t watch don’t wait here since she feels it disturbing when someone watching her while she is working on the dogs. First there is no sign to ask people not to watch, 2nd hy can’t you let people watch if you have the grooming Glassdoor right in front of the door? Her comments and the expression of her face is extremely rude to my kids and myself! I just couldn’t not believe we have this kind of service at Petco!!! No more !!!

The staff are friendly but the customers with dogs are always a problem. These people think their dogs must become friends in the store even though there’s always frightening fights. My leg was almost bitten by a dog the owner refused to pull away. My leg is not there for a strangers dog to sniff/investigate. Dog owners should relegated to the grooming areas.

I always enjoy shopping at Petco. Your staff are wonderful. However since the Pandemic your stock levels on pet food and litter have been less than adequate. I really want to avoid placing orders online and would prefer to support brick and mortar establishments. But I am growing tired of going 2 and 3 stores to get what we need.

*Update* - within 12 hours of writing this review, the manager of grooming made outreach to me to discuss my concerns. Sarah spoke with me at length about my experience. She offered to complete my dogs cut herself, and had my dog (reluctantly on my behalf) back on her table to finish what was started. Needless to say, the rest of the groom went just fine, without incident from my dog. All this to say I would highly recommend Sarah at this salon. PLEASE DO NOT LET CHERIE GROOM YOUR DOG. I am impressed with the way this was handled, and may consider returning, while only using Sarah.I am so disappointed in the grooming services offered at this Petco. I should have gone with my gut the second I walked into the grooming section, and took my dog and walked right back out. I walked into the sounds of somebody yelling 'stop that! If you do that one more time!' at whatever dog was being worked on in the back. When Cherie, the assigned groomer for my dog, walked in to greet us (at which time the yelling also stopped), it was clear she was completely overwhelmed. This was confirmed by her instantly telling me that my dogs groom was going to take at least 3 hours, and that they were completely overbooked and understaffed. While I expressed my frustration at not being notified of this before hand, I offered to reschedule my appointment to another time if that would help. Cherie went on to tell me that appointments typically take between 2.5-3 hours anyways, so I decided to go with the appointment. She exasperatedly told me about all the other dogs that she needed to attend to before getting to mine, and what she needed to do to them. At one point, I asked Cherie if she would be ok to even groom my dog as she appeared 'frazzled' as I put it, which was concerning. She assured me she would be ok, and would groom the dog. The place felt chaotic, and Cherie certainly appeared to be overwhelmed. Well, I got a call later stating that my dog was 3/4ths groomed, but my dog tried to bite her, and was not welcome to come back to the PetCo for grooming services. While I was not charged for the service, I feel that Cheries general overwhelm and the overbooking of dogs created this mess. My dog has been to other PetCo stores for grooming services, and has been to other private groomers - all without incident, and glowing reports of how sweet she is! I have NEVER had my dog receive an incomplete groom and have never been told that she tried to bite somebody. While I am not debating that my dog may have tried to bite (Cherie was quick to tell me it was all on video. Wonder if they have video of whomever was yelling at the dogs too...??) I am upset at the situation I believe may have pushed my dog to have tried to bite somebody. I feel awful that my dog may have tried to bite her, but I also feel there are some other circumstances here that may have been a major contributing factor.....

had a great experience at the hospital. They have a great staff & an awesome doctor that addressed all the questions I had regarding my new puppy. I recommend this hospital for anyone looking for a vet.

The team at this Petco are very professional and kind. Alex helped me find my first ever whites tree frog and I took her home that same day! Plus with crickets for her dinner and good information about the frog and her health. She seems very healthy!

I placed an order for pickup and in my order was a seasonal dog toy item. It was marked as not available, and when I walked in to the store. The dog toy was right at the front! So I repurchased it when I picked up my order but it was at full price and I was getting it on sale during my original order. So that was very annoying.

Walk-ins are advertised that they are welcome for this location’s groomers on the petco website. Since it was my dog’s first time I was told by Angelica I needed paperwork for my dog to be taken. I told Angelica I’ll be right back with the paperwork. I come back in less than 5 minutes later with my paperwork for my dog and I was told nastily by Angelica that grooming was all booked for today. Someone needs to teach her not ask the customer for a commitment if you aren’t actually going to serve them. I will not be returning to this location ever for anything.

Good store go there all time The manager (Alex I think his name is, is amazing), I gave only 4 stars because I had to take away the 5th star because Not enough people working (1 cashier and 1 manager helping people) There should be At least 4 people at all times too deal with the line and 2 to deal with customer service/animal care ... The manager I have seen and met is very knowledgeable but his supporting staff could be more and better ALSO MAKE SURE YOU GET THE CORRECT REQUIRED/MANDATED LINEAR UBV AND BASKING LIGHTS FOR YOUR REPTILE AS WELL AS APPROPRIATE HYGROMETER (HUMIDITY & TEMP) BEFORE BRINGING HOME ANY REPTILES Please MAKE SURE TO HAVE ALL CARE REQUIREMENTS AND HAVE DONE YOUR RESEARCH ALSO NOT ETHEY REQUIRE A VET CHECK UP AND MEDICAL CARE BY AN EXOTIC VET Same AS YOU WOULD FOR A DOG CAT OR ANY OTHER PET

Love the new remodel so far. It feels very modern and clean. Staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. My dogs obsessed with Stella & Chewy, so very glad they sell it at Petco. I’m there almost every week and have nothing but good things to say.

I go to the grooming place here in this Petco, just because the girl that grooms my dog is there. Jasmin is super sweet, nice with the dogs and groomed them nice. That is the only reason I drive 35 mnts to this location

Walked in for a nail trim at 9:30am, something that is done without an appointment and was told that they don’t have time. Come back latter, tomorrow maybe? No. They should take down the signs then. Skip this location, drive 5 miles south and go to Freehold where they are also friendly.

Very unprofessional service. if you give your dog for an agreed hour, you expect the person who provides the service to deal only with your dog and not with other dogs during your appoitment, of which the service is 3 hours and the dog ends up in the cage several times!!!this is traumatic for the dogs or does anyone care???

I had to stop here because both my drugs got car sick after an hour drive. The associate was friendly and knowledgeable on what I should try on my dogs. I bought ginger treats and cbd calming treats and it helped immensely. They both stopped shaking and they remained calm for the rest of the trip.
