This experience was good. I feel that BMD only makes appts available if your pet starts with them as a puppy. With another pet, I requested an appointment, and was told to go to Red Bank to tell me nothing was wrong, $700 later.

We were trying to check out and there was only 1 cashier there and they took their good old time and just stood there talking with 2 people, there was a old lady in front of us and she was probably standing there for about 15 minutes or even more because when we got into the store she was still standing there, but when we finally got in line the cashier still didn’t bother to check the people she was talking to out and didn’t bother to move. They were having a conversation and she wasn’t doing her job, so us and the old lady left and she still did nothing. Talk about bad service.

I stopped in to get a few things. As I approached the dog food isle, I was hit in the face with this foul Oder. It was the dog food. There were chewed up labels from the cans of food, looked as if some rodent chewed it up. Told the young girl at the counter what I smelled and saw. She said she would tell the manager. Went back there out of curiosity the next day and nothing was done about it it. I used to like that store but it has really gone down hill. It’s dirty, half the time the shelves are empty, yet there’s boxes in the aisles of product waiting to get put up. I get with the covid messing up our lives, deliveries are slow. But that store needs a total make over. I now go to the new one that has opened up on maple Ave in pennsauken. It’s clean and shelves are stocked. Sorry, but this store should not look the way it does. The people that work there are always nice and courteous, it’s a shameh

So my wife works for family dollar and had called her boss to let him know that our car wasn’t starting at all and that that was her only way in he proceeded to tell her figure it out after she said I’m sorry this is my only way in something that is totally out of her control he so RUDELY says WHATVER AND HANGS UP ON HER! Very rude boss names PHIL! Clearly speaks to people rudely has no manners very disrespectful overall.

It's definitely an older store. It could use a facelift. But, they're well stocked. It was very busy on Sunday 2-17-19. There was only one person working. She/cashier was very pleasant and helpful. But, the management should really have another person on the schedule for the the floor. Overall a pleasant shopping experience.

The store is an absolute mess. Everything is in total disarray it's dirty it's not well laid out and you can barely get down the aisles. Ask for being a dollar store I found two items for a dollar and they were so off-brand I've never heard of them everything else was somewhat expensive to my taste. The young lady at the cash register although friendly was more interested in a conversation with a friend of hers. She wasn't watching how she was packing my items and I had to tell her to please rap glasses so that they are banging on each other. The woman behind me suggested that she also put them in the trash cans that I had bought to protect them. If you don't have to I wouldn't shop there.

This store in convenient to run in for a few things but it is frequently under staffed. Cashiers are stocking shelves, merchandise is everywhere and frequently changes location making it hard to locate. Many times you need to walk around to find someone to ring you up.

Family dollar always have what I need. I always receive a warm welcoming from the asst Manager sky. Sky is always pleasant, and provide quick assistance when ever needed. When ever I shop at family dollars I feel I get my monies worth, and Sky's outstanding customer service skills is always worth driving the extra mile.. Usually no problem, staff has always been very unprofessional which who is honestly going to take this job seriously, but I call up today "hey um do you have Coke zero in stock" "I come in all the time for your deals and there isn't any left" that was me, so this woman says "I don't know" me again "well neither do i which is why I'm calling before I come all the way in." "can you check"? Now she makes me flaming mad "well i can't get off the register right now" So I said well is there someone else in the store? she says "not for another half hour" first of all are you trying to get robbed? Idiot, you don't tell anyone your the only woman in the store for the next half an hour.Have a brain, I see why self checkouts are replacing you jobs. and I could of sworn half the time I stand at that register waiting for some woman, cigarettes are locked and in the other cabinet. Your employees are bad.Terrible. I see why my ex wife used to get away with shoplifting from there ALL THE TIME back in 04. I guess you get what you pay for you pay people terrible they do a terrible job.Now had this woman wanted to be helpful she would of said "Yeah i can check can you wait a few mins"? Took care of her line, which I have never seen Phones answered while on register.Are there even phones by the register? That in itself is a terrible thing to do, when you can barely walk and chew gum and you are ringing someone up. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Luck i'm sick or i'd drive right down the street there and watch at least 2 people in the store, and give you like a lesson on how to treat customers, and make you feel horrible in front of them. machines will all have your jobs one day and all you'll be there to do is check for my fn COKE ZERO.

Just recently they got a whole new staff and manager. Finally things are stocked and organized and there's always someone there to help. Good mix of online coupons offered u can get some really good deals.

HORRIBLE, RACIST STAFF. the manager's name was jennifer or rachel I think, a caucasian woman with blonde hair, older in her 30s or 40s perhaps. anyway, it was may 13th around 3 or 4pm when I came to the store to buy potting soil and some mother's day cards and a gift bag. I had planned out a color scheme for my gift and the card I bought had a different color so I brought up a plain card to the register with the mother's day card to buy and have the envelopes switched. She rudely stated that she would not let me have the envelope, took it away from me, and rung me up anyway saying it's one envelope per card. OK. So I go back to the stand, pick up another card to buy so I could have the envelope and get back in line, which has FIVE PEOPLE WAITING MIND YOU, yet she follows me to loudly shout, "you can't just take a card!" assuming now that I am shoplifting, and when I let her know that I intend to PURCHASE another card she backs off, only to give me attitude and sass about how "others" have been doing this recently (and by others I take it to mean BLACKS) and she assumed I was stealing based on my race I suppose, because she was only giving me a hard time about it. I ask her to stop talking to me and ring me up so I can leave, she rudely replies she doesn't care either, rips open my package to replace the cards, does not put it back together nicely for me to have and shoves it in the bag and when I extend my hand to receive the receipt she rudely stuffs it in the bag and says nothing. Never had I been treated so rudely and I will definitely be going to a district manager!

They have an okay selection of products. I do like their selection of children's medication but make sure you check the prices against Walmart and other places before you buy anything. While many things are cheaper here sometimes they get you because you just assume it will be cheaper and you end up paying twice as much. Make sure you actually check the size of the products too. Sometimes they'll sell you a three ounce tube of toothpaste and while you think you're getting a great deal the five ounce is at Walmart for the same price. The boxes look the same and you think you're getting the five ounce for around the same price until you open the box and notice it is much smaller. Just make sure you read labels and check at least Walmart's website if nothing else.

I give a 2 star based only on the bargain deals. However, to base on the establishment and how it is being operated... filthy, unorganized and questionable employees. Honestly, I fear for either a robbery or that a cashier will O.D. at the register. I hate to be so cruel but the place is a disaster.
