We went on the public tour and then had a private tour of the farm stay and property as a potential wedding venue. We are glad we took the visit, and it was even more magical in person. The animals are amazing and so great to see them live a happy and full life. Peter, Gabrielle, and everyone at Tamerlaine are absolutely wonderful. Highly recommend you go visit and support them in whatever way you can - they are doing great work for a fantastic cause!

This animal sanctuary is such a beautiful place. The people that work there are very genuine and take such great care of the animal residents that they rescued. They are very educational, informative, and caring. I highly recommend scheduling a tour there, or volunteering.

Had a wonderful time today with the family, got to learn all about animal sanctuaries with this wonderful place, how they are helping animals today and what their goals are to continue on helping in the future. Very knowledgeable staff. The tour was amazing. I had such a wonderful time with these precious animals. As a vegan myself for over nine years, it was definitely a an amazing experience for me and for the rest of the family. Their small gift shop had awesome apparel at affordable prices, and of course, all that money goes to helping the sanctuary which is amazing and it feels great to help with their cause. Definitely coming back soon and 100% recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

Great place for kids and adults to interact with animals and gain an appreciation for the importance of treating them humanely. Husband and I had a great visit, and the staff & volunteers really care for them. If it isn't so far away from where I live, I'd consider volunteering there!

The sanctuary offers two types of tours: one is public, one is private. We took a private tour. Peter was our tour guide, he is one of the owners. It was excellent. He's extremely knowledgeable and friendly, he made us all feel welcome. They rescue animals and give them their best life. They farm as well as the animals are well kept. We were able to interact with most of the animals, it was fun to get to meet them. We learned a lot about animal husbandry (more than I really wanted to! Hahaha.) It was terrific though, it made me think and it was truly interesting. We all enjoyed it. They also have a volunteer program where you can work on the farm. I highly recommend going there.

What a wonderful sanctuary! Came here with a group and did a tour. For starters the farm itself is very beautiful, scenic and clean. The rescue animals are very well cared for and are so lucky to be saved from horrible situations. Peter, the owner, toured us around and he was a great guide. You get to interact with the animals and hear about how they were rescued. This is a little piece of heaven for these formerly abused animals!

We visited the sanctuary for a class field trip. Our learning topic was stewardship. Katie did a wonderful job of educating all of us and the animals were amazing, friendly, and tolerant. My class is still talking about their experience!

Tamerlaine is one of the best animal sanctuaries in the country. It's so beautiful there and everyone is very welcoming. The animals are the best, Vinny the pig loves belly rubs and the barn cats are the friendliest!

Very friendly owners and big place! Amazing old farmhouse and barn. They have cats, chickens, ducks, turkeys, pigs, goats, donkeys, bunnies, cows, and probably even more animals!

I've been a volunteer at Tamerlaine Sanctuary since 2016. Every animal there gets the absolute highest level of care possible, and it is truly heartwarming to see. The staff, founders and other volunteers are all so caring and dedicated, always coming up with creative solutions to give each animal the best quality of life they can have. I highly recommend visiting for a tour. It is a truly beautiful place in every way.

My Family and I had a wonderful experience here this past Saturday. Gabby and Peter were welcoming from the moment we stepped foot on the premises. Despite the cold and rainy weather, we were treated to a delightful tour of the grounds. Peter took the time to introduce us to all the animals by name and shared some of the unbelievable stories behind each animal and how each one came into their care. The Owners of this rescue farm (and their volunteers) are doing an incredible service to all these animals. Their overwhelming kindness, and caring nature, was absolutely refreshing. If you're ever in the area, I sincerely recommend stopping by for a tour and supporting their efforts.

We had a tour today with Peter in the pouring rain but it didn't matter...he was the best tour guide ever. We heard so many stories about these animals and how they were saved from devastating situations and we learned so much from him. This was the best experience and I now have a better understanding of animals and what they go through. I want to thank Peter and his wife for devoting their time to these animals and educating people to things we know nothing about. I can't say enough about Peter, thanks again for a magical day ☺️

This Sanctuary is beautiful and the tour is amazing. You can tell how much Peter (our guide) loves this place and all the animals in it. The rescue animals are well cared for and treated as family. They all have names and histories. Wonderful for any age. Our group was 2 to 76 years old. Highly recommended.

We had an incredible time here. The animals are all so sweet and have such unique personalities. Peter, who is the owner, gave us our tour and he was great! We loved interacting with the animals and taking in the gorgeous scenery. They’re vegan on the farm, as it’s a sanctuary, but don’t pass judgement on those of us who aren’t. Beautiful place! Highly recommend!

Tamerlaine Sanctuary is a slice of heaven on earth. I always have the best time there and it has become one of my favorite places to visit.The farm is beautiful everywhere you look!The animals get the best care and are happy there, they love to interact with people and it’s clear they know how loved they are.The staff is very friendly, kind, approachable and helpful. They always make you feel right at home and the tours are very interesting and educational.Location is perfect, not too far from the city and close to some small picturesque towns making it worthwhile spend your whole day or weekend.Ah! And they make the best sauces 🙂
