I have just been on hold twice for ten minutes each before being disconnected. I want to advise these people for the fifth time NOT to refill any prescriptions for me as I am in Florida for several months and to please mark that on my record. They keep advising me I have a prescription ready for pickup. Now they can just hold it and keep contacting me until they return it to stock. Why can't they they follow a simple request?

The pharmacist called and said my prescription is not available and hung up . In 10 minutes I got an automated message and text saying my prescription is ready for pickup. I showed up at the pharmacy to pick my prescription, the pharmacist was so upset and rude, said I just called you about the prescription unavailability. I told her about the text and call, she mentioned that’s how the Walgreens system works before canceling the medication, they set the status for prescription as ready to pickup. Either the pharmacist needs to be trained how to use the software application or Walgreens needs to fix this bug.

This is hands down the worst pharmacy I have ever visited. The male pharmacist was so rude and gave me so much attitude over the phone during one of the most stressful times of my life. They don’t answer the phone and hung up on me 4 times, once answering just to stop the ringing and leaving the line open so I could hear all the customers medical information and patient identifiers before they hung up again. HIPAA violation but ok. And maybe don’t get into healthcare if you lack empathy and customer service agility. I wish I could rate them 0 stars. I will never come back here or recommend this pharmacy location to anyone.

We are living a largely senior citizens area, Monroe Twp. NJ and one of those citizens.We needed to get passport photos and ask some help to get them. The person works in customer service said we have to do everything ourselves using their equipment and computers.Having no idea how to use them, we left the facilities

Consistently bad experiences with the pharmacy. Every pharmacy (including other Walgreens) I've had my prescriptions on auto refill and I never had any trouble.I signed up for automatic refills day one but for the last three years, more often than not I've had to walk in and request a refill (because when I call, I end up on hold for 20+ minutes) or contact my doctor directly. I've re-signed up for auto refills multiple times.This means I end up taking meds late because I mistakenly assumed auto refills would work this time because I definitely signed up again.I can't get three month supplies of incredibly basic, common prescriptions through this location (but I can elsewhere).Pharmacy hours are inconsistent and according to those posted here and on the website.I'm giving up and trying to get my prescriptions through the mail.

This place should be ashamed of themselves. EVERY time I have a doctor write me a script it is delayed, out of stock, or some problem. I keep trying and trying and nothing ever changes. I run out of multiple medications every month. Finally, I am done and going elsewhere. I don't understand how this is allowed to stand.

This Walgreens pharmacy in particular is the worst one I’ve been too. On different occasions the pharmacist are on different pages. one says they were called in and ready and another says they aren’t ready and have never been called in. Very frustrating to drive to this location multiple times just because they don’t know. They always look well staffed yet you’re waiting in line forever because of it being crowded and lack of communication.

Worst Walgreens pharmacy around here. Drive thru wait is long, in-store pharmacy wait is long all the time. Had to wait 30 mins to get a vaccine when no one is in front of us. Entire pharmacy staff needs more training and perhaps hire more people.Update: photo orders are a joke here. Forget same day pickup, nobody works on your order for days. And when you get your order there is a 50% chance there will be something wrong with it and it will need to be redone. Maybe corporate should look at these reviews and hire a better store manager who actually knows how to run a store.

This place used to rock when they opened. I switched from CVS to Walgreens because they were responsive, accurate in filling prescriptions, live person answered phone st pharmacy, drive thrueindow was always manned and was very fast.WHAT HAPPENED ?Past few times I've had really bad customer svc at the pharmacy. Definitely understaffed ! However not attending to customers picking up prescriptions that they were called to say were ready is just rude and inconsiderate cust svc.Drive thru should be a revolving door. Instead. I wait at drive-thru for like 30-40 minutes before someone acknowledges they will attend to me. I people are picking up AFTER Walgreens texted or called to say they are ready, it is a simple matter to check them out. The staff at pharmacy look tense & have glum attitude. Mgmt needs to FIX this ! Make it customer friendly or you will lose customers to 2 pharmacies nearby.

Things at the pharmacy are getting much better. It's extremely busy and many of the customers are demanding. In my recent experience, the staff are polite and professional and are working very hard. The prescriptions are getting filled much faster and there is less confusion overall.

Incomplete prescriptions. Cancelled deliveries. Erroneous credit card numbers in my file. Total lack of urgency about supplying urgently needed medicines. Dealing with this Walgreens is like diving head first into the ninth circle of hell. NEVER EVER AGAIN.The final straw: the meds were finally delivered. They were left on the hood of my car in a carport that’s a block away from my condo.You can’t make these things up.

Every bad review posted for Walgreen pharmacy in Monroe is absolutely true. Totally inefficient. Even when a doctor speaks to an employee , they will say they never received the call. We have to go back and forth until they decide to get off their backsides and actually make an effort to do some work. Horrible, everything about them, so-called employees, rude, lazy. These are the people in charge of our medications. Have fear! I want to change but my husband said all the doctors have our info there. Have to convince him to switch to CVS.

I’ve dropped off many packages at other Walgreens FedEx on-sites but this Walgreens made up a bunch of rules as to not accept my package. Went to another Walgreens and they accepted it just fine. Employees don’t want to work, very sad to see.

What a horrible pharmacy and pharmacist. My prescription was not filled to completion and I was told I could come in and the problem would be solved. Nobody was on the same page and no one had a solution to fix a problem the pharmacy created. The pharmacist spoke to me in such a condescending way, as if I didn’t know what I was talking about, horrible customer service skills, horrible experience. Taking my prescriptions to ShopRite.

The worst Walgreens to go to for Prescriptions. Overall the staff is nice, but once you reach the pharmacy via in person or on the phone, game over. I’ve been hung up on multiple times today, alone and other occasions it takes 12 minutes to speak to a pharmacy technician or it takes 12 minutes to only get hung up on. They don’t take time to speak to their customers slowly and calmly. They rush just to get you off the phone. I’d be willing to travel 45 min to the other Walgreens than go to this one from now on.

This place is absolutely the worst place too get your prescription filled. They are the slowest rudest people I have ever met. You will be there all day … They have no idea what they are doing every time I went there it was a problem . HORRIBLE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE now I see why they only have two stars lol

Worst pharmacy ever!!! In the past five years this place has made at least 4 errors in my dad's prescription drugs. They constantly give insufficient pills.Last Thursday I called for another prescription, they told me it would be ready in the morning, on the 17th. They called back and said it is not available until the 19th. I stopped by on the 19th, and they said no it cannot be given until Jan 5. I said I do not have enough medicine until Jan 5, and it need this earlier. They said no we gave you enough until Jan 5. I was told to go home and bring the bottle so they could check if I received the correct quantity. I brought the bottle back and they look at the bottle and said we gave you the correct quantity because we gave you the correct size bottle. If we gave you a smaller sized bottle then we would know they we didn't give you enough. Then they told me that I will be able to get the refill on Jan 12th. They changed the date on me four times to pick up a medicine for heart disease.Pharmacist cannot explain why I was given four different dates.She showed me the screen where it said the next pickup date and yes it said Jan 12. I asked why I was told different dates and she had no answer. I said if you guys cannot read correctly then how can you be trusted to count correctly???? Again no answer....When I asked her where the extra pills are she said ...well we are not pocketing the medicine because we have cameras installed, and she pointed to all the cameras. She admit that they count pills manually and they do NOT have a pill counter!!! She admit that they do not double count the pills for accuracy. IT WAS 180 PILLS!!!! Why aren't they double counted???? They were supposed to give me 180 pills and their bottle didn't even last two months. If these people cannot even provide the correct dates to pickup medicine then can they be trusted to count accurately?I ended up paying for the extra medicine. I complained to the store manager and he says they cannot refund my money. This place robs people of their medicine and then steals their money for "extra" pills which the insurance already paid for.Please do yourselves a favor and stay away from this place. I am going to change all my parent's prescriptions to another pharmacy. CVS across the street has a pill counter and there is another CVS in Jamesburg by the park! I never ever heard of pills not being counted correctly nor experienced it myself but this Walgreens is really something else.

Bought C19 test kit. It was located right in front. NO note to pay at pharmacy if you want it to go through insurance. Likewise, NO note that no returns. I ended up paying $72 for 3 test kits. I did ask before I asked to be rang up how to get it through insurance. Sale rep did not know the process.

Typical Walgreens that got off to a rough start but now seems to have worked out all the kinks. The pharmacy staff is professional, helpful, and very responsive to customer needs. It is not the old Rite Aid, but for a Walgreens, it gets the job done.

By far the worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to. They lose your info every time you go there and have no clue what they are doing. This store should be shut down. I would have given a zero if possible. If anyone has to use a pharmacy I would suggest you never use this one!!!!!

Unlike other posters the pharmacy techs are not bad but I prefer the old Rite Aid workers. The store used to have higher end shampoos, sodas (like Sonoma Sparklers), upscale perfumes, cosmetics, chocolates, magazines, books, snacks, foods and even classier frozen dinners. Not to mention an excellent variety of QUALITY braces, canes, etc. as they service an elderly population. Wahlgreens is more like a dollar store in terms of its merchandise look, feel and attitude - it's bottom end. The old Rite Aid was attractive and visually pleasing - hence the massive move to CVS across the street which now seems to have claimed what passes for high end in Monroe. The CVS pharmacy techs told me there was a huge and massive influx of prescriptions from former Rite Aid customers.

Totally With previous reviewer’s that the service behind the pharmacy counter is nonexistent. I miss the pharmacist that used to be there and all of the Rite Aid people that used to work there. I’m going to be switching back to CVS
