Older black guy standing outside smoking cigarettes checking peoples receipts as they leave. Is this an employee? He is not wearing a uniform. He looks like a panhandling bum. Prices Extremely High! Also a lot of junk generic brands that are priced cheaper at Ross or Walmart. This store has gone downhill since they rearranged it all around. New Manager? With prices this high why don't you pay your employees more, spend some money and buy your receipt checker a uniform.

Stopped yesterday was very surprised how dirty and junked up the housewares section has become. You couldn't even see what was on shelves. It was very disappointing compared to how they kept it. And the prices have gone way up. Definately is not a place anymore that you can go in and find a bargain. A pair of pajamas were marked $12.00. REALLY..looking for weekly special is hard to find in clothing as on Wednesday they were pulling all the items with colored tags for that week off the racks.

New management apparently. They have an old man at the front door checking receipts- rude, smoking in the store and trying to cough on me and my daughter after I said stop smoking around my child. The manager said oh I’ll talk to him. This is the problem- you can’t go anywhere anymore. Everyone is rude, swearing etc in front of someone else’s children.We will never go back to this goodwill ever again.

While Dollar Day Sunday at GW MILLVILLE NJ is a fantastic deal it's is very disappointing and there is much to be said regarding the complete lack of consideration for the less able patrons such as seniors and disabled. The opening/waiting outside line is cruel, inconsiderate and ridiculously long. There is no early bird access for said patrons as I've seen in other GW locations. Even if one choose to wait for a less busy time to shop such as Monday, there is practically nothing left to shop, not even at half price color deal after the general public ransacks through the store. This is utterly unfair to a community that struggles even beyond your typical customer. Millville GW NEEDS TO IMPLEMENT SOME KIND OF CONSIDERATION AND DO BETTER BY US!

Store has a large and unique selection. The majority of the staff was nice and friendly.There was only 1 cashier. No one would help her check people out and the line was from the counter back to the shopping carts, which is quite a distance. Unfortunately, no help would arrive for her until 1pm. :((Returned 1 month later) Same issue. 1 cashier and a nasty manager. The manager was nasty to the employee not me.The store was clean and well organized.

It very disappointing when you arrive and there are others grabbing more then one shopping cart. I once mentioned it was told they had no time to deal with it. I left being disabled I need a cart to hold on to.

This place used to be clean and maintained now it's nothing but a dump charging way too much for items that are donated basically throwaways the floors are constantly covered in debris you have to be careful where you step damn little Mexicans running around like it's a damn playground my five-year-old slipped on a hanger that was on the floor and almost got hurt I complained to the manager and her response was then take your business elsewhere maybe a lawsuit will change their minds

Ever since new management the items are significantly overpriced, and they now have an older gentleman that sits at the front door smoking cigarettes and checking recipes. They also completely removed all doors to the fitting rooms & the bathroom is ‘broken’ and not allowed to be used.

You will find a wide variety of items. Most of their floor space is dedicated to clothing. It's fairly well organized for a thrift store, with areas dedicated to audio visual, furniture, clothing and household items. There is a small area for books. Items considered to be valuable are behind the checkout counter.

We had a good time hunting around this gigantic goodwill store. There are a ton of items In this store and you could spend hours without seeing everything. There is everything from clothing to home goods, holiday decorations, wall art, paintings, baskets, toys, shoes, a little of everything.My daughter needed an outfit for her part in Fiddler on theRoof and she found what she needed.

A overpriced dump! Owner is making huge profits from "Donated" items! 15% discounts are a joke! We get 40% or more from retail stores! Place stinks like mold. Lots of ripped/damaged items. Please hire more English speaking workers

I have been to this Goodwill 3 times over the last about month and a half, it USED to be one of my favorite Goodwills. Not anymore, well I really don’t like any of them anymore and losing my faith in this company as a whole. The only reason I even gave 3 stars is because for the most part the employees are friendly and helpful. But at this location in particular the last few times the shelves were pretty bare and what was there was WAY overpriced (as it is the consensus that Goodwill across the country are getting crazy with their prices)! 95% of my clothing is thrifted but I am just going to start buying at regular retail stores because the price is either the same or almost the same so I may as well buy it new. As far as the hard-goods go you wanna talk about sticker shock and the furniture is a joke a lot of it is severely used and again, overpriced! PLEASE Goodwill STOP having your employees looking up things on EBay so they can price them that way (and don’t deny it I know for a FACT you have people who do that!) because a lot of the times they are pricing it for what sellers on EBay are ASKING for it not what it actually SOLD for! Oh and lastly let me give you a little tip about that, I used to work at a smaller nonprofit thrift store and yes if we got in an item that we knew may have some value we looked for the SOLD price on EBay and then priced that item for 50-75% below the SOLD price that way we made some money for the organization and the customers still got a good deal! WAKE UP GOODWILL people are getting tired of this and if the prices are gonna be like this AT LEAST (this is to the OVERPAID CEO) pay ALL (even the ones with disabilities) of your employees a decent wage! Ok rant over.

Goodwill gets items donated to them for free. They turn around & sell used items for full price. During checkout they have the nerve to ask, “ Do you want to ROUND UP your total?” They want customers to DONATE EXTRA MONEY after PAYING FULL PRICE for used items!! 🤨 Something doesn’t sit right with me! Customers are getting taking advantage of with the ridiculous & outrageous prices.*I also want to mention something that REALLY bothers me:Goodwill will sell an item that has another part to it (like a pot with a lid) & charge you for each piece.I bought bookends for my youngest daughter. The bookends were hands giving the peace sign. (Like this ✌🏻) *Goodwill charged me $10.99 for each bookend that originally came together as a set on AMAZON for $9.99!My Goodwill days are over!! I will not be donating anything to Goodwill anymore. I will find another organization to donate my items & my family items to.

I AGREE WITH THE 3RD REVIEW. THIS PLACE HAS REALLY GONE DOWN HILL I NOW DONATE TO RE-HABITAT IN VLD. THIS PLACE SMELLS, NOBODY CLEANS THE BATHROOMS ARE AWFUL THE STORE SMELLS BAD FROM ALL THE NASTY CLOTHES. I FEEL THAT IT USE TO BE FOR THE LOW INCOME TO GO N FIND TREASURES BUT INSTEAD RICH PEOPLE SHOP IN THERE N THE PRICES R TERRIBLE. BOSCOVS HAS WAY BETTER PRICES. THE MERCHANDISE IS DONATED WHERE DO THEY GET OFF OVER CHARGING THE CONSUMER LIKE THAT? I DO NOT KNOW WHERE THEY GET THEIR PRICES FROM. I go to this goodwill everyday . BUT the past 2 months prices are ridiculous the one storefemale manager that works there is very rude and wants to change prices on things that have tags and jack up prices on things that dont have tags. I went to buy a very small Vera Bradley hand bag there was no price she told me 5.99 I said that's alot she told ne it's Vera Bradley bag I know this but it's very used and the price you called it at was ridiculous. I go back in today the same exact bag marked for 4.99 so I picked it up I also had two extra small purses I go to the counter mind you they all had prices well one of them the small bag with a little flower on the front the price sticker was on the outside of the bag .she made a comment on how pretty it was then scanned it and it came up but she told me that it wouldn't scan and we don't put tags on the outside. So I said that's where it is and it's a good will tag then she said it wouldn't scan so I told her to cancel my order after she tried to give me another price. This isn't the first time with her and she is Very rude to the employees . But the prices at Millville store are ridiculously high you guys get this stuff for free but wanna charge Macy prices then what comes in pairs they are sold separately when I questioned the same girl her reply they don't come together in pairs they price them all individually WHAT !! So you get 4 of the same exact dinning room chairs and the matching table and sell them separately? Then have the nerve to say they come separately who brings in 1 chiar and table separately? Stuff broken on the shelf for $4.00 ? Can't tell me that they were broken when they got put out I've seen them put broken stuff on the shelf I can go to different goodwill and the prices are much cheaper .goodwill is to help people who can't afford store prices but hell they can't even afford your goodwill with the high prices you tag them at. Hence the word good will.. not going back to Millville any more, shame on you and one of your female store manager. Every one else that works there is very pleasant. No this is not an vindictive post ..just had enough.

Always crazy on sunday but that's expected at any goodwill on dollar day. Today's colors are blue and red. Me and my daughter used to go to goodwill so much we knew what color was going to be every sunday. I was looking for curtains didn't find any this time. I usually get lucky at this one when looking for curtains. Guess I'll try my other favorite one next time.

I have donated to this location for many years without a problem. The staff has always been courteous and gotten my donations out of the back of my SUV with no problems. Yesterday I stopped in the afternoon to donate a very large trash bag full of clothes and a smaller bag with shoes. A man with large scissors was very rude and aggressive when I told him I had bags in the I wanted to donate. He told me to get them out myself….while constantly making slashing movements with the scissors. I was so uncomfortable I was getting ready to drive away when another worker appeared. The angry man told him what I wanted by screaming in his face and continuing to make slashing motions with the scissors. The nice man got the bags out and thanked me. As he was walking away th e man with the scissors raised them over his h as and lunged at my vehicle scaring me further. I quickly drove away. I will make my husband take any further donations!!!

What can I say I definitely love a good trip to the Goodwill. Especially when I find what Im looking for. Rare finds are always a possibility! Either you thrift or you don't, but if you don't you sure should give it a go ;) Goodwill offers two colors of the day which in turn give you an additional half off any tag that is either color!

Normally I love this goodwill but unfortunately a few days ago as I was buying a sweater from this location, the cashier decided to open mouth cough (cough without covering her mouth) as she was bagging my item and when I grabbed my bag it was all wet with her cough. I was shocked honestly. I’ll still go back but I’ll pray I never have her check me out again.

They have very cute clothes. They also have a good variety of vintage clothing. I went there to get a dress for a school project and it lasted a while. It was made of velvet ( which can be expensive ) and it was long - sleeved & ankle length. Great deals you won't get anywhere else.

If you haven't been to Goodwill in a while, you should stop in. They have a such a variety of things. If I am ever looking for an obscure craft item I need or something unusual, I can sometimes find it there. Their prices are good and they have such a turn over of items, you never know what you might find.

I always spoke very highly of this store as well as shopped there until today. I called three different times on three different occasions and asked if the accept baby grand pianos. I had one that I wanted to donate. I was told every time that yes they do. I had a bunch of people today to help me take it there and when we got there we were approached by a very rude and ignorant guy and told that he wasn’t going to take it. When I told him that I spoke to three people on three different occasions and I was told yes, he went to get someone else. A lady then came out and told me no she wasn’t going to accept it. I told her the same story and she told me that no they don’t accept pianos because If it doesn’t sell then they have to pay someone to take it away. I already know that when something doesn’t sell at one location they ship it to another goodwill store. So her story is plain b/s. Apparently no one knows who’s on first in that store and they need to get their act together.

I absolutely LOVE this store! The staff members are VERY courteous, friendly and helpful. Of course I cannot speak for other people, but MY personal experiences at/with this store/location have ALWAYS been positive. The store has been well-maintained &kept up as much as possible. On several occasions, the fitting rooms had been messy &/or the bathroom was dirty, but it seemed "recently" done, as opposed to having sat that way for awhile.

Nice selection of different sizes in clothing. I spent $47 for 10 tops including a sweat jacket and a full size comforter. Lots of bang for the buck. Advice: look the clothes over for small stains, pulls and make sure Zippers and snaps work as they should.
