My husband needed antibiotics and drops for an ear infection. His Dr sent the prescription over and we went in about an hour later (which was almost two hours before closing time) and they said they hadn’t received the prescription. Called the Dr’s office and they assured us it was already sent. We were told by the Walgreens pharmacy staff we would receive a text when it was ready, but closing time came and went with no text. We ended up calling the West Milford Pharmacy across the street because they were still open and explained what happened. They told us to come right over and get the meds as it was important for him to start the antibiotics ASAP. When we got there they let us know that Walgreens HAD filled and charged our insurance so we did have to pay out of pocket, but we could have Walgreens reverse the Rx and then come back into their pharmacy for a refund of what we had to shell out. I called this morning to have the Rx reversed at Walgreens and the staff member who took my call wasn’t very pleasant about it, even though it was their fault. No apology, just hung up on me. Never again will we use them, especially with friendly and COMPETENT pharmacists right across the street.

It’s gonna be a long one get ready and buckle up. Yesterday, my fiancé had to get oral surgery and all he needed was his antibiotics. We leave and go to Walgreens to go pick them up. I sit in line and I wait patiently and the woman behind the counter said There are three other important things that I Have to be done first. I then told her my fiancé is waiting in the car and excruciating pain after an hour of sitting there finally they decided to fill his prescription. The pharmacist said that they’re behind 300 antibiotics or prescriptions so my fiancé came in and said this is ridiculous. I waited over half an hour for This, she said that that’s actually good amount of time. Are you Actually kidding me why is it fair When someone is sick, they have to wait an hour or two in order to get their antibiotics. I’m sorry, but if I was sick and I wasn’t feeling good, I would want to go home right away. This is the worst pharmacy in town and I’ll be taking My prescriptions to West Milford pharmacy, and as soon as the pharmacist at Walgreens gave us our prescription. I said that right to her face.

Most of there staff are excellent, others have attitude problems. I went in and they made an internal problem a customers problem all because of one question I had. After that the entire attitude and energy of the conversation during the transaction changed. Like the cashier wouldn't even grab me a manager to answer my question. If it wasn't so convenient I wouldn't shop here after today's experience. They could of answered with a yes or no and moved on.

Out of the roughly 5-6 employees who work at this pharmacy consistently, only one is competent. The rest are just clocking in and out. And generally asking them to do their job is an inconvenience and they make sure to show you. A couple others are “nice”. But only one (Anyone who goes there knows who she is.) is actually someone I would want as an employee. Not only is she good at her job, which is all I really ask for. But she goes so far above and beyond to help customers, truly caring about doing the best she can. Which makes it more baffling how everyone else there is rude, disrespectful, and just plain bad at their profession.

The pharmacy is the worst! They often try to over rule your doctor's orders and will refuse to fill certain prescription due to their own personal beliefs. They put you on hold for long periods of time and sometimes disconnect your call and the list goes on. I will say there is one worker there name Jake and he is wonderful! He goes above and beyond to answer your questions, assist you with finding a discount for your prescriptions. He's nice, patient, return calls, he's really cares about people. Unfortunately my encounters with other pharmacy staff members was not as pleasant, including the Pharmacist. I recommend going to the west milford pharmacy ALL of the staff members there are nice and very helpful..

Always short staffed, and the employee there tonight 7/7/23 was rude. As I walked to the register, he mumbled oh Jesus Christ, as if annoyed another customer to ring up. As far as the pharmacy, I gave it 3 tries since moving here 1.5 yrs ago. Had an issue every time so I now go to WMP. But this store needs friendlier, more helpful staff.

Waited 15 minutes yesterday in line to be told my photo order wasn’t ready despite gettjng a notification it was, came again today and stood around for ANOTHER 15 minutes waiting for anyone to help me and I guess management just didn’t seem to care their customers were waiting. Incredibly frustrating, and the worst “customer service” ever

Don't recommend doing business with their pharmacy if you can avoid it. For weeks, I had been trying to find some of my existing medications that are subject to national shortages.I called this pharmacy and asked in the plainest English possible if they had X drug in stock, and they replied in no uncertain terms that they had it in stock. I scramble to get scripts in to that pharmacy for that drug as soon as I could.Once I got the electronic receipt that my doctor has forwarded the script I immediately called to have them start filling the script only to be put on hold for 15 minutes until the call was just transferred to some dead line that rings indefinitely. When I hang up and make my third call for the day to this pharmacy, I'm then told they don't have it, never had it and they have no idea why I was told they did when I called earlier.This is New Jersey; throw a rock and you'll probably hit a pharmacy. I don't see any good reason a rational person would give this clown show their business.

Getting tired of this pharmacy. About to switch to WM pharmacy or rite aid. My scripts are never ready in a timely manner. Today they delayed my med bc it was out of stock. I called and they are NOT out of stock and now they tell me there is 31 scripts ahead of me. Well had you not falsely delayed my script, would there really be 31 scripts ahead of me? I ordered this at 8am this morning and it's now 130pm and it might not be done before they close? It's not a med I can just stop taking. So frustrated with this place. Someone needs to get a handle on this pharmacy.

Pharmacy staff is rude towards customers picking up prescriptions as I’ve witnessed on multiple occasions. Several people have the same issue: they receive a text that their prescription is ready for pick up. They arrive and the staff states it’s not ready and there will be a lengthy wait time. I needed my prescription immediately as I was in pain. The staff stated they did not receive anything which was completely untrue when I spoke to my doctor. Please avoid if you need your prescriptions in a timely manner or at all.

This Wallgreens takes care of a lot of people. It is once again cold and flu season. I can’t thank Jake and the pharmacist enough. Even though they were super swamped they took time to answer all of my questions and double check information about my sons medication. You guys are the BEST! Thank you for ALL you do for our community each and everyday .

If I could give them 0 stars, I would!This is the most poorly run pharmacy I have ever seen. They regularly just outright lie to me, saying that my prescription is ready for pickup (when it isn't) or saying that they tried and failed multiple times to reach my doctor (when he responded to them a week ago).I don't know if they're just dopes or if they're dipping into their own supply, but I am switching pharmacies.

I’ve been in town for years and don’t use the Walgreens pharmacy often but the last 2 times I’ve waited a day for a basic prescription. I’m not sure what happened to this pharmacy but will definitely be moving my business to another town pharmacy.

I made an appointment for my COVID booster here for yesterday (11/1). Showed up on time, with my 3 & 1 year old tagging along. Kyle, who checked me in, was awesome & I honestly feel badly for him - he was sweet with my toddler and seemed to share my frustration at the situation (in a professional manner). I ended up waiting over an hour because the pharmacists were in a meeting. Why schedule appointments when the pharmacists aren’t available? When they finally emerged from their meeting they didn’t seem to be bothered that the pharmacy area was filled with people who had appointments for shots & were now waiting. I was frustrated, as were the others, and my kids were struggling mightily. Needless to say, I won’t be returning.

Always have a hard time getting prescriptions filled. It’s like they decide what’s really needed without any reason. I’ve waited days for my prescription with no explanation except we’re working on it. ????

Walgreens has the worst Pharmacist, customer service skills- NONE existing. I scheduled an appointment to get my COVID-19 vaccine, there were 3 appointments and their website doesn't allow you to finish, it tells you click next but I won't allow you to go forward, I called the Pharmacist and before anything she was rude, nasty and said well there is no more appointments left, I told her it clearly said there were 3 appointments left but she said No you're wrong and there's no appointments left. I can't believe that's the kind of treatment you give your customers specially during COVID-19 times., so many people that are sick, how many more need to end up in the hospital because no one seems to care. Shame on you 😕 😔 you have the vaccine but refuse to give it to your community just because you want to go home and not be bothered.

The pharmacist was nice. The cashier was trying to insist I get a flu shot for people over 65. I told her I didn’t want that. She kept saying... but that’s what’s recommended, over and over. So she FINALLY went to the pharmacist to talk to him and he said it’s okay she can get whatever she wants. She’s not a doctor and saying it over and over only served to really irritate me.

I've always gone to walgreens pharmacies but now that I've moved to West Milford I'm going to have to find other options. My provider called in an emergency dosage of a medication 28 hours ago. After a few hours I called to check the status. No answer and no record associated with my phone number. A few hours later I went in person and they said this is because THEY STILL HADN'T CHECKED THEIR VOICEMAIL. At this point it was 8 hours after the call was put in. I've been without my medication for 28 hours and at this point its unsafe for me to drive to Walgreens do to medication withdraw symptoms. This business is wildly mismanaged and telling me it's not their fault that HUNDREDS of customers are ahead of me in the cue is not only unfair to the patients awaiting potentially life saving medication, it's a bold faced lie! This small town with 3 pharmacies within site of each other is not so overwhelmed that they get thousands of Rxs called in per day. The only reason they haven't filled my prescriptions and supposedly hundreds more is because they refuse to do their jobs in a timely manner.

Never get your passport photo taken here. Stick with the post office. I sent my passport photo for renewal back in May as I was leaving for London on July 11. I had to take my picture two more times because Walgreens didn't do it properly the first time, not to mention I had to PAY to expedite my photos TWICE. I was literally on edge the whole time and didn't receive my passport until two days before I left for my trip. It is unreal that a corporation like this takes on something so important and critical, and can't even get it right the first time. I am beyond upset and was nervous for two months that I wasn't going to make my trip. It is necessary to train your employees better. I am sure I am not the first one to complain about this.

I just waited on hold for the pharmacy for ten minutes before I got hung up on. The prescription is not in my text alerts and no one at this pharmacy will ever fill a prescription for me unless I show up there at the counter and ask them to do it and wait while they do it. I would think they would use the electronic tools at their disposal l to keep people safe from covid but they don’t really care.

This is the busiest pharmacy I have every used, but even with that being said every single member of the pharmacy staff is always friendly, helpful, and professional. The rest of the store also has wonderful staff members. It sounds weird but I truly love this pharmacy and the store.

If I could I would give zero stars. I really never use walgreens so I wanted to give it a try and called them to have my meds transferred from another Pharmacy and I was told to go to another totally different Pharmacy that is not related to Walgreens, then to be told can you call later on in about 4 hours later .He continues now is not a good time. Rude and impolite and nor would I use them again.

Cashier wouldn't let me pay cash because she didn't want to open the drawer. That's crazy to me that you'd rather me not buy something than check if the drawer had money.

The pharmacist Elisa I.is the worst and I am moving all my meds to another pharmacy in town my doctor gave me a script for 40 pain pills after I got out of the hospital and when I went to pick them up she told me my insurance wouldn’t pay for them so she decided I didn’t need them that’s when I started to get very loud about what she just said so she gave me 1/2 of them cause that’s what the insurance would pay for I told her I would have paid cash or use good rd if she told me but then she said I can’t split the order who is she to decide what I need I think she should be fired and I will not go back to that store
