Great store. They sell fruits, vegetables, meat, dairy products and many other products. Register your phone number to get additional discount.The staff is friendly and helpful. They have self check out option. Parking should not be an issue, they have ample space.

Their order pickup is really pretty bad. You can sit in your car for 40 minutes- to an hour waiting, even though you’re told that it’s ready. Today we didn’t wait too long, but the guy brought out the crates and just left them behind the trunk. They used to at least, load them into your car for you. He left a huge trolley locked behind the trunk and we had to unload them, move the crates, and drag the trolley away so that we could back out of our spot. Come on Shoprite! You can do better!!

There are three things that makes this particular ShopRite stands out.Excellent selection of eggsThey have farmer's milk in a glass bottlesThe flower department is outstanding.From time to time they have bi-color roses. One of the kind.

I would buy pretty great sandwiches here at the deli section. The sign says, “made to order”.I only came once every other month. The staff, especially the Filipino woman with black hair and the baseball cap, became lazy. I wouldn’t have written this review if she hadn’t walked up to me and my husband and lied to us. She said there was no more bread and said to pick a sandwich from the cooler. I wanted the chicken cutlet option. She said they didn’t have that, only grilled. I was okay with grilled but she didn’t want to make it.I believed her when she said they ran out of everything, no problem, until I saw that there was more bread and everything else. She didn’t want to make my food when I’m always polite to her.

Cardiovascular disease - If you search on-line(Google) "At what decibel is bad forthe heart?" The result is "Still,while certain types of noise appear to be more harmful than others, most sounds above 50 dBstill increase a person's risk of cardio-vascular disease. Please see the photobelow. On August 28, 2023 my soundlevel meter reached a decibel levelof 95.7.On Tuesday October 10,2023 my soundlevel meter reached 93.5 decibels.This isthe second photo.Also I would like to point out that if yousearch " At what volume of sound doesthe World Health Organization considernoise pollution?" the result is: Not allsound is considered noise pollution. TheWorld Health Organization (WHO) definednoise above 65 decibels as noise pollution.The real issue now is the very high volumeof announcements. I spoke to a cashier.I have her name but I would rather not giveit because management may not like whatshe said to me. I said " The volume ofannouncements is extremely high,". Shesaid "I know." Those two words meant somuch to me. I always see her when I go toShop Rite. Seafood department not always staffed. Went in for a Lobster and the guy behind the counter was from the deli and had no idea what he was doing. He didn't know the code for the Lobster. Bro seriously asked me to wait 20 min. I'd rather go an hour out of my way and pay double the price instead than wait like a sucker because you can't keep a department staffed.Edit: No I won't reach out. Put a binder with all the product codes by the scales. Issue: fixed, now anyone from any department can just look it up and ring it up. I don't blame the guy behind the counter, it wasn't his department. But if all the scales in all the departments have the relevant codes on hand then there would be 0 issues with coverage as long as everyone is informed.

The issue with me and with clerks I havespoken to is the high volume of announcements and high volume of music. Maybe they are affected forty or more hours a week.I wear noise protection but it isn't enough.The clerks have to really speakup because of the music and announcements.I was told by the assistant manager that the volume can not be lowered. It has to do with the satilite system but I wonder if it is true, The music isturned off during announcements. I was told tocontact Wakefern. A woman I spoketo was sympathetic. She passed on my concerns to management but there wasn't change. Apparently it ismore profitable to have a high volume of music. I believea persons health is far more important than profits.Sincethe music volume and announcements cause me a lotof stress I am sure it also causes other shoppers a lotof stress.I am 64 years old.This is the research:"What we observed is that older individuals don't adapt as well totheir sound environment."This means as we age, our ears and brain be come more sensitive to sound, and years of wearand tear start to chip at our ability to hear clearly.Also, as we get older, the hair cells and nerve fibers in ourinner ear deteriorate. Some studies have shown thata reduced blood flow, which is a natural part of aging, causeschanges in our ears. It could also be due to prolongedexposure to loud noises or combination of factors. I believethe sales clerks are at great risk of loss of hearingafter being subjected to several hours a day of loud musiceach day. Also they may work five or maybe six days a week.I may feel they do not have other employment oppurtunitiesavailable to them.They may feel that if they voice thier concernsto management they would be out of work. Management atWakefern may not know all this, may be young so aren'taffected as much when they shop for groceries or may feelprofit is more important than the health of the sales clerk.The sales clerk may need their salary to survive. There is onesales clerk who looks so sad. I honestly believe it could affecthow long she will live. I mentioned to her my conserns. Shesaid. "I know."Instacart which is the Shop Rite delivery service is muchimproved over what it was. It may be an option that youmay want to consider it but please give detailed deliveryinstuctions.The volume has gotten even worse. 30min after I had left I receive a phone call from the store because apparently they said I left without paying for my groceries.Turns out, I tried to use the Self-checkout and ran into problems with everything from an invalid barcode to coupons that wouldn't scan but the biggest kick to the balls was the attendant who left my waiting twice while she went and helped others.I gathered my purchases and went to a real cashier who processed my transaction with efficiency and ease. So yes, I did pay. And hire competent staff, it's not a good look.

I called today to ask an online shopping question as to why I wouldn’t get the sale price. The employee on the line with a giggle answered that she can’t answer my question bc they don’t know how to do it . So I asked you can’t answer my question then and she said no bc we don’t know how to access it . So I’m on my way to the super market now while I could’ve ordered with the sale price.

Not much to be said for shoprites quality control at the packaging level.Two weeks in a row I'm throwing Bowl & Basket Chicken in the garbage and ordering takeout.The person who put those Chicken beasts in the package for some unsuspecting customer to purchase should have a talking to.You never see this with Tyson or Perdue

This is the new, larger ShopRite in Northern New Milford behind the High School.It has a more open feeling, is open until Midnight, and is well stocked with a very wide variety of groceries, fresh fruits and vegetables, a big deli section, butcher, fresh seafood, and a sushi counter. There is an ATM inside and a new Wells Fargo bank next door

Clean updated store. Pricing is decent for the area. Their pick-up and delivery program is great but a little expensive at $13 a deliver (plus tip etc).My biggest issue is a lot of times when I order for pick up, there will be bags with just 1 item in it. Please COMBINE these items into one bag. No need for an individual bag for one item. Such a waste

The extremely skinny very old in the face woman is racist! She will be on top on me as I’m checking out all the time yet doesn’t do the same to anyone else! When I said something to her she was really nasty and unprofessional she definitely requires further customer service training. Next time this occurs I will contact corporate. She makes me feel uneasy and unwelcome! Everyone else during self check out are nice and helpful.

I just had to give my customer experience with Demaris (may have spelled it wrong) and Darnelle. These are top notch employees. Everytime I come to this store these are the best check out lines. They are such kind and wonderful people that make shopping at ShopRite a great experience everytime. Their care and welcoming attitude is what every employee in this store should aspire to. Going to the supermarket can be a bit of a pain, but whenever they help check me out I feel comfortable and tended well to. I just wanted to take the time out to give them their flowers and let corporate know these two are great employees that make their customers feel welcome and tended to with optimal care. Demaris being bilingual is also a plus for us spanish speaking customers! And Darnelles sweet demeanor and helpfulness made my day! Thank you Demaris and Darnelle!

Big store with a lot of selection. Great pricing the same as other Shoprites. But like every supermarket within the same chain, they don't carry the same stuff. This place is twice the size of the Englewood ShopRite. Be prepared to get your walk minutes in, lol. Looking for stuff that Englewood carries but they don't. 🤷

Shop Rite, if I am bagging my own groceries, and I am paying at the same time, please tell the checker not to stand there annoyed that I am struggling to get this all done as quickly as possible. They can be kind, or they can offer to help. Also, completing my transaction on the pin pad for me (without asking) and then placing my credit card on the small shelf while I am bagging is not helpful. Is it too much trouble to hand it to me? I almost left me card there as I was rushing to get everything done. Also, please don't tell me that I can check myself out. By doing that, the employee standing there will usually have to come over about twice a visit to adjust something. Thank you.

The low review is just because of the poor service with the buy online pickup option. This is the second time I’ve ordered and waited over 45 minutes for my items to come out. I could have gone in to shop faster myself and save the service fee. I thought this most recent trip would be better because you can say on my way through the app but it was worse.

This review is for the order online-pick up at the store. This is the second time I am waiting over an hour to pick up the order (the standard waiting time is usually around 30 minutes). I could have just gone bought the items myself in the store. Very slow service!!! Advice: Hire more people for online orders if you offer this service.
