Meg and Bryn are not only the best groomers in the history of the universe, but also two of the best people I know. They are extremely knowledgeable of all dog breeds, behaviors, and coat types. Both of them are oh-so patient, and just plain sweet to the dogs. They talk to and comfort the dogs throughout the whole process, it is so apparent that they truly love what they do. If you want your fur babies to be in the best hands, this is the place for you. There is no one else I trust more with my dogs than Meg and Bryn ! :)

We took 2 of our precious puppies to Frenchtown Dog Wash for grooming today and we are so very happy with the results. The Owner and the staff are so very pet friendly and they took great care of our puppies. To see them so happy being brought out to us, licking the groomer and then showing excitement to see us was just a great comforting feeling. Brin the groomer was a fantastic dog loving person and they are now our go to place for bi monthly grooming. I would highly recommend them 100% Thank you so very much for taking such great care of our puppies.

We are first time self-service customers, I’m happy to say that we now have a clean dog and a fantastic experience! 😊Our AmStaff, Jessie, is a notorious bath hater. The amenities provided by Frenchtown Dog Wash were great for him as it allowed him to quickly and thoroughly get his bath with minimal resistance, and we were very appreciative of the accessibility ramp to get him into the tub.The girl that checked us in and out was very helpful and accommodating as well, she explained everything that we needed to know!I’d be happy to return here if we ever need a place to wash Jessie again, I’m very thankful to have their services in our community 😊

We have visited many self dog wash facilities and this one I must recommend for the following:-Sectioned, gated entry, with an entrance and exit door, so furry friends don’t go face to face-separate large kennels for dogs to be placed if you have multiple-HUGE menu of all services and accessories they offer-self wash stations are fully equipped with all essentials (they even have a light switch for the high velocity dryer)-washing stations are gated-shampoo and grooming supplies are available and included in the cost for the self dog wash-incredibly affordable for the qualityAll the staff we interacted with were very kind, they offered a package bundle for multiple baths at a discount. We have 3 dogs and this was a killer deal! I highly recommend Frenchtown🐾

Could not speak more highlly of this place and the staff! My dog is not small and she doesn't love being handled by strangers or getting her nails done. Megan did such an amazing job with her, we will never need to go any place else!

This place is so special. The owner has a big heart for all animals and is so generous. We advocate for a dog at Animal Alliance and we brought her for a bath here. We figured we would treat the little pup to a nice spa day! Megan (the owner) quickly realized this was a shelter dog and told us the bath was on the house. When an owner has a heart this big, you know this is a special business! Please support this place, it is so clean, high-tech and extremely friendly!

I am so grateful to Bryn at Frenchtown Dog Wash! She is an excellent groomer, but she is so much more than that. Bryn is an incredibly caring and compassionate person. She has groomed my 15 year old Bichon on a regular basis for several years now. Bryn is highly knowledgeable about dogs; she knows how to best handle their needs. This is especially valuable when you have an older dog. She is always flexible and accommodating. She came in at 7:00 AM to groom my dog on a Saturday morning. Since he is experiencing some health problems, I stayed in the waiting area for the appointment. Bryn talked to my dog to calm him the entire time. I couldn't have asked for more. How wonderful to have someone like Bryn and Frenchtown Dog Wash to take care of my precious pet!

My grand dog ( a rescue) has intense anxiety about commercial buildings. The staff has always been extra kind to her, even coming out the the parking lot (with love and treats) when she just needed a nail clipping. She arrives very stressed and leaves, happy. I highly recommend this place.

Bought our Golden Retriever here twice. She is generally on the nervous side but she absolutely loves The Frenchtown Dog Wash. Yesterday was her second visit and she took to the owner Meagan and did terrific with her bath and blow dry, nails and ears. Wonderful, caring service. So happy we found this place for for our girl.UPDATE 3 Years Since 1st Review: Just wanted to say that after three years of bringing our Golden Retriever here, we could not be happier with the treatment she gets there. Shea loves going here and gets so excited for her spa day. We bring her once a month all will continue to do so. Love this place

Completely unprofessional. Complete chaos with dogs in grooming area. Never again. My dog traumatized. And I did not insist you do my dog. As a professional you should not expose a dog to that environment. I found a groomer with no chaos knows her job completely professional no appointments needed. Got my dog done with a smile. You run a chaotic place and are unprofessional!!

I used the self wash service. Lots of booths, very clean and inviting. This is an extremely well-run business and they provide everything you need for a reasonable price. That would be enough for five stars, but the icing on the cake is that they are clearly true dog and pet lovers. They are so caring and interested towards all the pets that come in and it's just a wonderful experience. We will be coming here regularly.

We love how accommodating the staff is with our drop in manicures! Our pup is always nervous and they make her very comfortable considering. Pricing is very fair and affordable. Also love the location and convenience of the self serve stations!

This place decides and determines their own hours! Do not trust their website because it does not reflect their true hours. Will never go again and will not recommend to anyone else because they should adhere to their hours and not decide to be open and close as they see fit!!!Their website say they are open till 5pm and their FB pages says 6pm, but you go to the facility at 4pm and the doors are locked, need to ring a bell (that is new, because they lock the doors at 4pm) and they tell you they are closed! That would mean that they close at 4pm and any time after 3pm it is recommended that you call to see if they are accepting walk-in appointments (kind of defeats the functionality of a walk-in.) If they change their hours and be honest, this will save customers their time and gas to get there before 5pm, because they are already CLOSED!They need to change their close time to 4pm, not 5pm.

I really liked going to them. They all seem very nice and professional. But they’re always closing so early or taking last calls very early when their website clearly states they close at 5. It’s just disappointing because some people can’t get in there early like myself. Maybe they need to change their time on Google so it’s not misleading.

Highly recommend the Frenchtown Dog Wash! Megan has been extremely helpful, accommodating and kind with our older dog Haven who has a hard time walking these days. We bring her there at least once a month to clip her nails, and it's hard to make Haven leave when we're done. I think she would stay there all day if she could! Thank you Megan for everything! It is greatly appreciated.

Wonderful experience. I brought my Chihuahua for a mani-pedi. She is very fussy but Jen made sure she was comfortable and placed her in the hammock to ease her nerves. Nikki was wagging her tail after the services were performed. We will be back.

If I could give Frenchtown dog wash and Megan a 10 star rating I would. Cannot say how grateful I am to have stumbled upon them today. I rescued a Husky in dire need of grooming. I walked in about 15 mins before they closed with a dirty matted poor girl and walked out almost 2 hrs later with a happy clean baby girl. Megan didn’t have to but she went above and beyond to help and there is truly no monetary value that can be placed on a great person. She truly loves what she does and it shows. I live about an hour away but will be going there from now on! The place is clean with everything you need to get your pup fresh and the staff is helpful and so friendly. Thanks a million!!!

Hands down the best dog grooming facility I have found yet! I am very careful when looking for a place to take my service dog and I will go no further. The way they treat you and your dog, they cleanliness and whole package makes the experience easier on me and my boy Pete. I suggest this place to everyone I met and will continue to do so. We were driving through Frenchtown en route to New York when my daughter (poor baby) got car sick all over herself and the car.We stopped in front of Frenchtown Dog Wash well before opening hours and knocked on the door. Megan Duffy, the manager, was kind enough to help us with paper towels, cleaning supplies, and use of the facilities to wash up. We are so very appreciative!!!Now, about the facility. As an animal lover and former dog mom - this place is great! My old English sheepdog would have loved it!!!They have everything you need to wash your own dog without making a mess of your bathroom or kitchen. Great sprayers, an abundance of towels, big wash stalls, and even an automated lift for older dogs to enter at ground level and be raised to a comfortable height so you don’t hurt your back while washing your furry friend’s. The facility is also super clean and totally odor free!They also offer drop-off wash and grooming services if you’d rather have the extra help.Megan was super kind to us as random travelers through town with zero commercial value and a pukey kid. She treated us like family, and I can only image she treats her customers the same way!Thank you Megan!!!!

They did WONDERFUL job on groomingmy dog!! Clean facility and odor free, very welcoming and very very friendly service.They even gave me ear plugs bc some little pup was barking up a storm~ so thoughtful. They did a treatment for the shedding on my dogs thick coat and it came out beautifully. Totally 100% worth the price. Will come back! Took my 2 dogs today. Meagan is very patient, sweet and you can tell she takes pride in her profession and loves what she does! Very clean and loved that the 'waiting" area for the dogs to be picked up, it had a nice clean bed and a fresh bowl of water! They look and smell great!
