Got a new puppy, and found this place doing a Google search for supplies, and glad I did. I prefer to give my money to a family owned business, than a big chain. To be honest, their prices are even lower than these big chain stores!!They have tons of options to choose from, and the staff is super friendly & helpful. I bring my pup with me when we go for socialization — and he loves it. I def recommend shopping here

The staff here is so helpful. We went in not knowing exactly which food or what we should get. However, the staff took time to really explain every food supply that would help our new pup. Even more, they provided us feedback with what toys and harnessed would work our new pup. Overall friendly location and our new pet store.

First time shopping here as we just got a puppy and need all sorts of things. The staff is unbelievably friendly and extremely helpful. The store has a great variety and lots of options to choose from. I’m feeling fortunate to have a local small business like this to be able to conveniently get everything we need in the future. The big chain stores felt like such a mess of confusion and chaos, not to mention nothing being on the shelves where they should be. I felt a sense of relief the second I walked in seeing the cleanliness and organization throughout the entire store. Thank you so much!

This is the place to go for your fish, small animal, reptiles, cat and dog food. Extremely helpful and friendly staff will answer your questions and guide you in the right direction. They even will special order something that they may not have in store. Prices are cheaper or comparable to AMAZON, and the other big pet store supply chains. I love this store. Check it out ASAP!!

Very nice store to get much harder to find cat food!! Huge selection of brands/varities not available in your average pet store. If your cat needs novel proteins or foods without a lot of fillers you wont find a better selection anywhere! Displays are perfect and prices were way better than expected!! They aren't near me but I will absolutely take the drive to visit this store more frequently!

Really cute place, but a little disappointed with the small pets section (I am a bunny owner). This place mainly caters to dogs and cats. The small pets section was barely 1/4 of an aisle long, and they had mostly had Kaytee products which was really disappointing. Kaytee, is a big brand which majority of their products are marketed as cutesy and totally appropriate, but really they're harmful for your bunnies. They're are a brand marketed for rabbit owners who do NOT know rabbit care. If you are a bunny owner like myself, I highly suggest you do yourself research before buying from pet stores. Rabbits are often of the most mishandled pets ever. I could only walk out with a package of freeze dried strawberries for my bun!

Been here a few times. Wide selection of dog/cat items, great range of raw dog food, wonderful special dog treats (e.g. freeze dried turkey necks), and even herding balls! Prices are completely reasonable. The store is always tidy and organized. Dogs are welcome and the staff was patient and kind when my friend's dog had an accident in the store. Most of the 1-3 star reviews I've seen were people complaining about lack of small pet items and online ordering. This is a small local store, so set reasonable expectations. Of course there's not going to be a ton of chinchilla/bunny/gecko/snake supplies when the majority of pet owners in the area just have cats and/or dogs. If you want to support a local store, leave a note for the manager saying you'd love to see xyz at the store next time and would like to be a consistent customer with your small pet. Most small business owners want to meet customer demand, they just need to know EXACTLY what you want rather than seeing a vague complaint online. Just because a store owner is passionate doesn't mean they will be an expert on the best supplies for niche pets, talk to them and help them make the store even better. As for online shopping, I think few people realize the background mechanics that are required for something like that to work well. It takes a lot of time and expensive programming to maintain a complete and accurate stock list online and have online purchase functionality. If you want to support small businesses, you have to be willing to be a real person and embrace the human element of it over immediate convenience. Anyways, if you haven't been yet, definitely check this store out. I have nothing but positive things to say!

Our favorite place to shop. Large store with an excellent selection of products. Small business owned! I have found their pricing to be very competitive. Usually below other big pet stores & Chewy. Can't say enough good things about the owner Kathy & the staff there. Very friendly, helpful & informed about their products. I recommend them all the time. 5 Stars.

We have a new puppy. The store didn't have the brand food we wanted but ordered it in for us. None of the big chains carry the food and it came in quickly. They went above and beyond to keep our pup on her recommended diet. Very friendly and kind people. We feel fortunate to have this store close by.

I was really excited to support a local pet shop. I brought my 7 and 4 yr old to come shop for our new puppy. The place had a large selection of dog stuff and decent prices, but I was really upset with how we were treated. When the cashier was ringing us out, my 7 yr old took our reusable bags and stood by to bag the items after each item was rung in. She went to take an item after it was ring up and the cashier rudely told her to hold on. When my daughter tried again a moment later, she yelled "stop it!" I couldn't believe it. I said to the cashier, "She was just trying to help, you don't have to be rude." Honestly, I don't know how someone can talk to a kid like that. We will not be back.

One of the Family has such great selection of known brands, and higher end and raw food options in their freezers. Toy and treat selection is excellent for cats and dogs. The staff is always so friendly and helpful and I'm so glad they're my neighborhood pet store! Shop small and support them!

Great locals pet supply store. Staff has always been very friendly and helpful when I've had questions after adopting our new dog a few years ago. Prices seem to be very competitive with other local stores. Definitely recommend visiting here for your pet supplies if you leave anywhere in the area.

Best pet store in the world. A family owned pet store cares so much more than any chain can. They offer just as much as any chain for the same prices, but they're not selling small animals for a quick buck to families that aren't properly taught how to care for them. They have a lot of unique treats as well. On my most recent visit, they special ordered the product that I wanted, but they didn't have in stock. I can't recommend this store more.

I shop here for.my dogs rather than a big box pet store chain. Prices and selection are remarkably competitive with the big box stores, though the major online retailer is generally cheaper and has a wider selection. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.

I really like this store. They have a good variety. Some of the prices are a wee bit higher than on-line (but not much higher)... but its local, well staffed, well stocked, clean, and I also had a good experience with a return: I had purchased one of the most expensive dog foods (a dehydrated beef product), which my dog wasn't able to stomach. After more than a month of trying on and off, I finally gave up on it and was able to return the product for a full refund... with no issues/debate whatsoever. The staff was very nice about it.

Before I moved to the area, I used to only go to Cherrybrook Pet Stores. (very similar type of store with higher end pet food) I went to One of the Family Pet Supply one day because I had seen it on my drive home. This place is awesome, almost anything you need for your dog or cat can be bought here, and everything is very high quality. They also have a wide selection of frozen raw food, which is perfect for my dog. Every single employee there is beyond helpful, amd you can really tell they are pet people. Ill be a customer for years to come!

They are people who love what they do. Few left of these some local home grown places. I worked for chewy.com before petsmart. Specialty foods for my pups are hard to come by that pass my list and then their taste test. Other than online ordering it's nice to find. Place to feel good about. I've been shopping here for a little over two years and have nothing but great things. One day I ran out of food, called them 15 minutes before they closed and waited for me to arrive. They have all always been great friendly and kind. Now with covid they even do curbside pick up.! A true gem to have in any community!

I'very been going to One of the Family for years. They have an amazingly large selection of high quality cat and dog food. They also carry the brand of hay and pellets I feed my house rabbit, and they were willing to order and stock her treats for me when I asked. The staff are very friendly. As someone who is very pro-rescue, I like having a pet store option that does not sell pets. However, if you're looking to adopt a kitten, this is the place to go.
