Clean, professional service, as usual! We had an appointment to replace an old, root filled elbow that went through our foundation. The job involved work both in a small crawlspace and outside the house, under a couple inches of snow. Dan and Jeff were careful with drop cloths and boot covers not to bring in any mud from outside, and worked cleanly and quickly. They communicated the job to me well and showed me the problem. I've used Dormann in the past, and HIGHLY recommend the service. There are spotty contractors out there, but this crew is as dependable as they get.

We had a leak somewhere coming out of our upstairs tub drain. Water was coming out of our ceiling downstairs. I called Dormann's to come out and check it out. Nick arrived on time, we isolated the problem, and he took me step by step on how he was going to fix it. I was really pleased with the quality of work as well as the reasonable cost. 10/5 service, will definitely use again. Nick also enjoyed our dogs and gave them some quality pets.

We could not find a plumber to come and look at our problem without charging a small fortune. A friend of mine recommended Doermann as a reliable, fair priced, does clean work plumber. First of all, the customer service ladies were wonderful and so understanding when I called by putting us on a wait list for the first open tech.Next, Nic was exemplary! Outstanding professionalism and so pleasant. Made pups and our guard cat 🐈‍⬛ feel at ease too. He explained everything to my husband that he was doing and made some suggestions for preventative things to eliminate drain blockages and perhaps curtail this recurring issue that for some reason seems to happen around or right before holiday cooking time. Cost was more than expected (but isn’t everything now) yet well worth the peace of mind.Bless Y’all

Our hot water heater died & we called Dormans. It was after hours, The next morning we got a call from them informing us that someone would be out that afternoon to get a look at what was needed.Early afternoon, I got a text saying they were on the way &someone showed up shortly after. I wish I would’ve gotten his name. He assessed,situation & assured me that things would be taken care of quickly.A few hours later I got a text with the estimate. I clicked the link to accept the price.The next morning I got a call from Sherry. She was so kind & let me know that they would be out in the afternoon to remove the old unit & install a new one.I got a text when Jason & Joey were on the way & they arrived shortly after.They were very nice & efficiently took care of draining the old one & removing it & installing the new one.The communication from start to finish was reassuring & couldn’t have been better.We’re thrilled with the company & won’t hesitate to use them again.I very highly recommend them!

Our water heater stopped working on Labor Day (of course!) but it was not an emergency. I was going to wait until Tuesday to call Dormann's, but decided to leave a message that night to hopefully get on the schedule for Tuesday. To my surprise Anna called first thing Tuesday and Dan and Jeff were at my house at 8:15 am to fix the problem! Anna is such a pleasure to do business with and servicemen Dan and Jeff were great. They resolved the water heater issue and installed a kitchen sink faucet that my husband couldn't get out. We have used Dormann's for 15 years now and have always been satisfied. Things they have repaired/replaced for us in the past include a garbage disposal, water heater, sump pump, outside faucet, and outside shutoff for sprinklers. They are timely, reasonably priced, and get the job done right. I highly recommend them!Services: Faucet repair, Water heater repair

Great response and customer service at reasonable price. I called same day for hose leak in Logan township and was put on call back list. I was able to get service from John and his coworker later that afternoon for the work. John explained everything about the repair and leak and recommended install and had everything on site to fix/replace. Highly recommend very professional. I had a clogged sewer pipe and called Dormann's, not having any experience with them. The woman who answered the phone was super friendly, congenial and helpful. Two technicians arrived and wasted no time getting started. You can tell that these folks are experienced and knew just what to do. In no time at all the work was completed, the area cleaned up and they were on their way to the next job. We’ve used Dormann’s for several plumbing issues over the past three years since we bought our home, and I can’t recommend them enough. They have always been able to quickly make time to come over. They are professional and do great work. Most importantly they are very fair on their pricing and clearly care about making their clients feel well taken care of. Nice to have them to depend on whenever there are any issues and be able to expect quality service every time. Also, we’re in the middle of Covid-19 stay at Home orders, but we had a shower completely out of commission. They came out in n-95 masks and wore boot coverings in our home. 10/10

Dormann's was highly recommended by a co-worker. The Owner returned my call immediately after I left a message and said he would send someone out that afternoon to find a small leak in my basement pipe.Two gentlemen appeared. They listened well, heard everything I mentioned and took it all into consideration. Like Leak Detectives, they searched high (20 minutes crawling around in my attic looking for roof leaks) and low (throughout my basement and middle floors) before cutting a hole in my basement ceiling around the leaking pipe, to see where the pipe was leading to. They looked at every possibility, found the solutions and fixed the small leak without having to cut the pipe. I was very comfortable and agreed with their diagnosis. They were amazing!I felt the cost was within reason, the gentlemen did a great job and most of all, they had integrity. This is the type of service every single female hopes to find. I highly recommend this family owned business, they deserve a great review and I would definitely use Dormann's again!Thank you again gentlemen!

Yesterday our water heater went out for an unknown reason. I checked the machine, checked the warranty, saw Dormann’s installed it, and called them immediately. Since we bought the house after installation I had no previous experience with them. Now, I will call them every time. Karen talked me through the process, got back to me quickly, and said someone will contact me the next morning. Steve called and was out by 9:30. We had no hot water & were unable to get the pilot light lit. We called Dormanns & he answered immediately. He told us he could come out the next day & that he would call in the morning. He called at 7:45 am & 2 men were at our door at 8:00 am.We thought for sure we needed a new tank. He light the pilot light, tested it several times & said it was working fine. The promptness, courtesy & honesty were much appreciated. The price was very fair & well worth it.We’ll definitely call them if we ever need to & highly recommend them to everyone!

Excellent customer service and speedy repair. I called with a sump pump issue, they were able to send a crew within hours. Replaced in no time, even had to run out to get a new pump as the one they had in the van had a manufacturer defect. Can't ask for any better service!

Explained what his plan for repair was, what he would do next if that didn't work and the cost. I called them after hours on a Thursday night, they returned my call first thing Friday morning. I explained my situation with hospice and kindness is the only word I could use to describe the response. To top this all off as busy as they were they sent a crew to the house, within 2 hours. The two men worked non stop until the problem was fixed cleaned everything up to the point that you would have never known they were there. We used Dormann's Custom Plumbing a few times over the last couple of years, and the guys who came out always did a great job and were both friendly and professional. Additionally Dormann's Plumbing has been very good about calling back and emails. We had trouble with our insurance covering frozen burst pipes, and John Dormann was nice enough to fill out an overly detailed report, that our insurance was being weaselly about.Out here in Jersey we have had shockingly bad experiences with other contractors like movers, painters, gas company, roofers, car mechanics, doctors and medical providers, exterminators, and in some cases we were forced to go into negotiations for compensation for scams and malpractice- typical Jersey practices. So we are really super happy and relieved, that Dormann's Custom Plumbing has been very dependable and trustworthy. Seriously these guys are good.Out here in Jersey/Philly people don't seem to use Yelp or other reviews all that much. This plumbers would likely have a ton of 5-STAR reviews. Kinda surprised that there were zero reviews so far. We are moving back to Oregon, but I wanted to make sure to recommend these guys as we appreciate being able to have confidence in a quality service.Finally a special thanks to Dan S.who went far above the call of duty to help break up a dog fight. Two of our dogs (both sisters) decided to go for each others throats, and Dan was quick on the draw with a water gun to douse Luna and Sable to separate the two. Dan happens to be good with dogs in fact Rex, who is normally wary of strangers starters pestering him for attention.In conclusion my wife, and her parents, her kids, and myself all highly recommend Dormann's Custom Plumbing.FYI Never met John Dormann, but talked with him over the phine, and he was very helpful.

John Dormann Plumbing just completed yet another seemingly impossible plumbing repair at my house - a persistent ceiling leak that no one else could find, let alone repair. John and his crew are unbelievable – they are clean, professional, knowledgeable, very polite and friendly – and always on time. I've been a homeowner for over 30 years and hired a lot of contractors to do repairs around the house. John Dormann plumbing is by far the best. Even the most challenging and uniquely difficult jobs that leave other plumbers stumped are no problem for John and his highly skilled, trained professionals. For repairs, remodels, any unusual or challenging plumbing problems, I rely on John to get the job done quickly, efficiently, and most importantly, affordably. They also do water conditioners, too. You really should give John a call, you'll be amazed at the quality of his work.
