As someone who visits a LOT of toy stores, this place is INCREDIBLE!!! Play With This is easily one of the best collectibles stores I have ever had the pleasure of exploring. They had a massive variety of different items, varying from common stuff to some items I havent ever been able to find in person, with plenty of awesome things in between! On top of having such a great variety of offerings available, every single item I inquired about was priced really well!Wow this was only my first time here, I can guarantee it's going to be the first of many trips to this store. It's Quickly going to become one of my new favorite places to visit, so I cannot recommend it highly enough!

Love making the drive out to merchantville just to visit "Play with this Toys & Collectible" !! It is a vintage toy haven to say the least. The owner is an amazing individual and is always there with his year of knowledge. Shopped there many many times and will always keep going back.

Went here yesterday for the first time, was out central south Jersey and stopped by a few comic book and collectibles stores, and this is a really great collectibles shop. Tons of horror toys and old collectibles. The owner and his dog are great!

This stop was not worth crossing the bridge from Philadelphia. Whoever was at cashier on 1/13/2024 around 2pm had really a bad attitude. My son has begged me to give him a ride here from Philadelphia for the longest. Today we finally crossed the bridge and made a trip specifically to go to the this store. First, there is a hhhuuuggee sign out front that reads "WE BUY TOYS" but when my daughter asked the cashier if she could sell her WWE action figure he said "no." My son, who has been collecting, buying and trading action figures for years, asked him the same question, with a different action figure. And the same cashier said he does not buy toys. So I needed to ask him myself why is there a huge sign out there saying that you buy toys. He said, "we don't buy individual toys because you will only get $1 for it. He further explained that he has so many WWE toys in the warehouse that WWE action figures were not worth anything. Why didn't my kids get the same explanation? They were the customers, not me. I could have stayed right in Philadelphia and supported a business where workers had better attitude and disposition like Suplex Vintage Wrestling on 628 South St, Philadelphia, PA 19147. I gave them three stars for the cute dog that was laying on the floor, the stars definately isnt for the shop. This trip off the beaten path was a waste of my time, gas and a waste of the $5 my son paid to cross the ben franklin bridge!

This has to be one of the best shops to get your collectibles or the best one in general. From the moment that you walk in, you're greeted, you get to meet like-minded people and see just about anything & everything you could want. I've been shopping here for some time now and would highly recommend it. Also The Todd is the best.

Their place is stacked with transformers and other collectibles. Service, Entertainment, Place are all good. No problems with this place. Do recommend it.

I was going to Play with this when he was in the Pensauken mart and then I followed him to the grand market and then I finally made to the new location and nothing has changed and when I say that it's a good thing. I have a decent action figure collection and big part of it came from Scott and Play with this!!!!

I love this place, it has razonable prices and also has good stuff. I really recommend this place if you want to find vintage and some new toys. I just bought this 3 power rangers megazord for a good price.

I simply Googled for toy stores in the area because I've seen stores full of older toys and figures online, and I wanted to see if I could find one near me. Play With This popped up, and there was a lot to offer here! The owner is very knowledgeable. Only issue is I have to temper my purchases. I returned here a couple days after my first visit to get a more accurate price on something I had, and I can see myself returning on occasion. Metered parking on the street, but only a quarter will get you an hour, which has been enough for me.

Merchantville is very lucky to have a shop like this in town! The owner is a joy and always willing to share his passion and knowledge. Incredible well stocked and there's always something fun to find.

I really like this store for several reasons. First, the owner is genuinely friendly and willing to share his knowledge and opinions. Secondly, he has the prices on all their toys (there is another toy seller in the 'general area' who does not put prices on his toys, allowing the owner to make up whatever price he wants or to change it on a moment-to-moment basis (probably after he consults eBay - for this reason I avoid that seller). Thirdly, the prices at Play With This are very good - I always leave the store feeling like I got a great deal! The store may not be the biggest, but it has enough treasures that I'm confident when I make a trip that it will have been worth the drive.

The owner of this store buys collectors item toys at 10% of their value then sells them for at least 140% of the going rate. He takes advantage anyone who doesn’t know what they have is worth. If you want a good deal for what you’re selling go to House of fun in Barrington.

Not too thrilled with this store. Large selection of new toys and decent collection of vintage toys. The salesman had zero interest in helping us - none of the vintage stuff has a price so the line is "let me check" and the price becomes whatever they decide. I don't like doing business like that. There are much better places with friendly salesman that actually want to help. It's a shame because the store looks like it could be so much more.

This store is great! Compared to other toy stores in the area this play is head and shoulders above the rest. Todd the owner is great! Very friendly and personable! You’ll always hear greatMusic playing and you’ll end up walking out with more than you planned on! Highly recommend!

This a great shop. Nostalgia at every turn. Fair pricing on all items. My daughter and I visit at a least once a month and look forward to stopping in. Friendly staff. Take the trip and pop in for a visit.

Great store. Friendly. Prices seemed fair. My sons enjoyed. Very clean inside and does not smell like cigarettes (unlike House of Fun - another prominent used toy store in the area)

Stopped in this shop a couple of weeks ago and was blown away by the selection. I walked out of their with a nice haul of MoTU figures, but didn't buy the MoTU Classic I wanted. I changed my mind after I got home, and they shipped it to me quickly and securely. Both my in person experience and my online experience were amazing. If you haven't been yet, GO. I'll definitely be going back for more.

This store is packed with tons of great vintage toys at reasonable prices. Lots of great vintage Star Wars. I really enjoy coming here because they're always getting new inventory in.

Scott's a great dude and so is Ron. He always has amazing selections of vintage and new toy collectables at great prices and Scott and Ron are always a pleasure to deal with. Been going here for 15 years since they were in the Willingboro flea market. The Merchantville location is great.

I have been buying/selling/trading with Scott since 1990. He always offers a fair and honest deal. (If he's unsure, or doesn't know something, HE WILL SAY SO, and then probably find it out.) Also highly recommended for a wide variety of fun and interesting stuff.Scott is a good man, and deserves all of your money and collectibles.

Awesome place. Brought in some old wrestling figures to sell walked out with some new (to me) Power Rangers figures some cash and a new place to go for some vintage toys and collectibles . The Owner couldn't have been nicer and Todd was very friendly as well.

Cool comic/pop-culture shop that has current pieces, peg warmers to round out your collection and old hard to find gems. The owner is very personable and doesn't push you into emptying your wallet. Take your time to look around and check out the new and old stuff, especially the items behind the counter.
