Shop local and support local businesses. Owner/Manager is a great guy and always helpful. He has a great staff that are always friendly. Selection is very fresh. Amish grown produce he gets in is amazing. Like all tomato connoisseurs know, the uglier the tomato the more delicious. The cheese section is best in the area, way better than Whole Foods. Wish they would bring back the samples. The prepared food is great. Highly recommended.

Hey this market is great. Wonderful selection of foods, fresh or jar / can.Loved the selection of olives and cheeses. I was on the hunt for greek foods and this is a good place for it.Decent beer selection too.I hope to return soon.If you're looking for interesting foods or need to bring something to a party, come here!

One of the best places food shopping. A delightful selection of produce, cheese. dairy, meats, wine, prepared foods, bread, and baked goods especially their tiramisu, pistachio biscotti and muffin tops. Enjoy visiting whenever I get a chance and when I need to get something prepared in a pinch.

Living nearby town, this is grocery store my family always visits. They have the best homemade hot salsa in locals. My daughter is a salad lover; fortunately this market has a very decent salad bar: we could choose the veggie bowl and add many other options including egg, avocado, mixed beans, mixed nuts, mixed meats, etc. I sometimes need to prepare drink water by myself following certain receipts; in this case, I could even find fresh mint from this market too. Of course, we also shopped for lunch there because they have a very delicious food counter: daily prepared. Very unique market place nearby.

I shop here often but have never used the catering service until this past Sunday.I just wanted to thank you for the amazing catering job you did for me on Easter Sunday. This was the first time I used your catering service. My guests loved the food as did I. Everything was delicious. I will definitely be using you again for catering.

I love this place because the food is always fresh, a large variety from fruits, veggies, cheeses, and most of all ready to eat food. For starters, their soups have such a light delicious taste. It saved my mom when she was in treatment for Chemo. She tried all the soups and they really helped her keep food down. The salad bar is great. Then you have the lunch special which has a huge variety from all meats to fish. The pastas, grilled veggies, or any side dishes have a beautiful color and taste!!! I’ve never tried anything I didn’t like. I’m always expanding my palette when eating here. The owner really raised the bar on this one. I would give it 10 stars.

It is a pity that this store is located far from the city where I live. The goods in this store are of very good quality. Selected fruits, fresh products on the shelves, a lot of diversity cheese, pastries, wine. Meat and chicken cuts are fresh [I bought beef and chicken thighs]. The prepared food in the store is varied and delicious.

I was surprised how much of a gem this place is. I purchased many random items and all were exceptional in taste and quality. I can buy several days worth of meals here and eat quality, healthy foods at reasonable prices. The market is a blessing.

A wonderful place for all your culinary needs... Vegetables and fruit galore and and array of dried fruit and veggies to munch on together with candied ones and nut mixes. Cheese selection is out of this world as is the fresh breads. Deli is also a great place to get a quick and tasty bite if you don't have time to cook or you don't like it 😉. Definitely a must visit 👍👍👍

Excellent gourmet market. Fruits and vegetables are always of high quality. Great cheese selection. Good variety of bakery breads and pastries. Good fresh fish section and high quality meat department. Also a large selection of wine, liquor and beer. What is really outstanding is their deli and hot foods to go section. I mean, like why in the world would you ever want to cook again. On big game days they lay out a big selection of wings, meatballs, etc. They got it all, and it's all very delicious. Mnmmm....

The managers and owners at Maywood Market should insist that the lazy cashiers start bagging customers' items! They do nothing! After having my bags politely bagged at Trader Joe's I understand what good customer service is! It's really disgraceful!!! Train your cashiers right!!!

I’ve been going to the supermarket for over 15 years. I’ve always supported this local business no matter what. Today I caught the cashier, charging me double for some tomatoes, The cashier corrected the problem. On my way out the door waiting for me was an old man with gray hair, He claimed to be the owner. He proceeded to tell me to never come back and find a new place to shop. Extremely poor attitude on the owners behalf. If the owner keeps that attitude going, he will eventually start losing business. In the meantime, he lost me and the $250-$300 I spend there every week plus the catering that I get every few months for $1,200. The ShopRite that’s right down the street will get my business.

First time I have been here and I was truly impressed with the selection and quality of the produce. The whole section smelled like a backyard garden. The bakery area was well stocked with selections of breads from some of the best bakeries in our area, like Hudson and Balthazar. The cheeses were plentiful, but not as varietal as I expected. The prepared food section was one of the most incredibly diverse and appealing that I have ever seen, but the prices are absurdly expensive. I truly understand the niche market, but the prices are easily five to ten times what it would be to make it yourself....for some of the simplest dishes. Great place, but I'll stick to the produce mainly.

This market has possibly the highest ratio of quality per square foot on the planet. It's a relatively small space packed with great items everywhere you look. Very high quality prepared salads, soups and dishes as well as usual supermarket fare.I appreciate their choice of what to stock, it is usually the higher teir items in each food section type.

Now this is not your typical Supermarket. Maywood Market is the KING of Prepared Foods, Salads, Heroes and Catering.The Variety and breathe of their offering is enormous. The list is so long. Every kind of Chicken. Every kind of Pasta, Pepper Steak, Fish, Rice, Vegetables, Appetizers of all Kinds. The Maywood Market rocks. I cater every week for my business. Best prices, portions, always fresh and delicious. My clients rave for more Maywood Market lunches.

I love this place so much! This place has a huge variety of prepared packaged foods! Great for busy people who don’t have the time to cook delicious and healthy meals. This one is so much better and cheaper than Whole Foods market. Go take a look you won’t regret it!

I love the made to order lunches thats about it. A great selection of groceries but it is very expensive. You can probably get triple the amount of food at shoprite.

I hate to do this, but I’m never eating food from here again. First time there was a roach in the roast beef cold cuts package. I showed it to the cashier and she wasn’t phased. She just told me she’d tell a manager and for me to get another one. Yuck! I decided to give them a few more chances even though I was grossed out. Then, the other day I purchased mashed potatoes from hot prepared food section, and they were spoiled and tasted like vinegar. Even my mother said they were horrible. Also, the products are overpriced. It’s not worth it anymore. I will travel a little further and go to Shop Rite for fresh food and decent prices.

I just love coming here. The fruit, vegetables, bakery and prepared foods are exceptional. The wine selection is crazy. Meats are too quality and the prices are reasonable. If you have to, go out of your way to get here!

We’ve been going for years and love the family style marketplace and fresh foods. My wife came home today (6mths pregnant) and said that for the last few times she’s been to the market, the gentleman operating the sushi counter always comes out and lets her know which ones are okay to eat. You don’t get a level of care like that at a supermarket. And tip of the cap to that man.

My first visit. Loved it. That salad counter is amazing, as was the prepared food section. I couldn't resist buying everything under that roof. Highly recommend!
