Wonderful first visit to Balic Winery in Mays Landing, NJ. Such lovely knowledgeable hosts, beautiful grounds and excellent wines. Country Red and Huckleberry were our favorites. Lots of unique flavors and blends. Very laid back and relaxing atmosphere, so welcoming. We will certainly go back many times. Bring in your own food and enjoy on their beautiful back patio or inside….plus super dog friendly inside and out.

We arrived as Harvest Host guests and couldn’t ask for better hospitality they were amazing hosts and the tastings were so much fun! Stayed two nights and rode our motorcycles to Atlantic City for lunch. Beautiful property and amazing people. Hope they are on our path again!

The people at Balic really know their wines! I am pretty much a novice when it comes to wine and I told the gentleman that and he was very kind and he suggested some things that I could start out with. Let me tell you everything that he thought I would like, I really did! I don’t think they have any bad wines. He was very happy to chat with us about food and wine as long as we wanted. My friend and I stocked up. We can’t wait to come again. Our only regret is that we didn’t bring a nice cheese tray with us to eat in there outside eating area. We will do that next time for sure!

Nice variety of wines. The free wine tasting was a plus and meeting Mariah was a bonus. What a sweet dog. You can walk around freely and enjoy the beautiful vinyards. There is seating inside and outside and you can enjoy the beautiful view from wherever you choose to sit. This was a BYOF (bring your own food) type of place which I love because some places charge so much just for cheese and crackers. You can bring outside food or snacks or even have food delivered to you while you enjoy a nice bottle or 2 of their delicious wine. There is also parking and the place was clean. We had the Cream White wine which was my personal favorite. The only thing missing was a bucket of ice to keep the bottle cold while there. My husband and I loved Balic Winery. I definitely recommend it and will be back for sure.

Unpretentious winery with a broad selection of product. You can find some standard, but very good, reds and whites here, but also some wines made from fruits other than grapes - including pomegranate and huckleberry - also delicious. Owner was very helpful in guiding through tasting. Good prices for bottles, too.

It's a very beautiful winery. The wines are delicious and I picked up the cranberry wine for a gift. The owner is very nice and the atmosphere is very relaxing.

The owner Bojan was really accommodating for our Harvest Host stay. They facilities were outstanding and the wines very good, our favorite was the Country Red. We bought a mixed case with some of the fruit wines to make slushy's with.Enjoy, Kim and Larry

My boyfriend and I stop here whenever we are headed home from the shore. We love the huckleberry wine and the Alexander the Great. On top of the great wines, we enjoy coming to see Mariah. She’s the best!

Passed by this Winery a few times. Well today I stopped in. Very friendly place. I sampled a few of their Reds and a couple of the fruit wines. They have free sampling and they are open 7 days a week. The Country Red was very good as well as Alexander the Great. The Huckleberry Fruit Wine was delicious. I am not a fruit wine drinker but that one is a winner. I will stop back to this Winery a few more times. I need to check out their Cabernet Sauvignon. Thanks for the samples and hospitality.

Balic winery is one of our favorite winery's. The wines are outstanding and the staff is so welcoming. Yesterday we had the treat of experiencing a wonderful performance by Gina and her partner Marko, very talented singers/musician. I hope they return to the winery. We had a great time!!!

I was visiting a friend and had a head cold, we went to a Pennsylvania duch food market and as we turned a coner Balic was giving out sample of wine, they all were so delicious but I was looking for a elder black berry and they had it omg just want I needed for this cold. And hr having this at home my head cold is clearing up. It's not something I drink to drink but to have a shot after comming in from the cold. THANK YOU! you made this is just what I needed!

Some of the best wine you will ever have!Bought 4 bottles on Saturday. 2 blueberry, 1 huckleberry, & 1 pomegranate. So good! The owner is very kind and always encourages you to stop by again. Bonus points for their beautiful Golden Retriever!

Wonderful proprietor, he's very knowledgeable and passionate. The wine tasting was delicious, you have to try their pumpkin wine. Definetly a place to return to more than once, and a great place to learn food and wine pairing from the owner.

This is a great winery. I never get headaches when I drink this wine. I found out that there are no preservatives in the wine which is what gives you a headache. There is no added sugars, and no infused flavors. Balic Winery is a very cool boutique winery with a good array of wines, including fruit wines you have to taste to believe, great reds, whites ... try the mango wine. I've been a customer over 30 years and this is my first review, but the fact that I've been buying their wine for 30 years, never once got a headache, and myself being a customer for so long, may I encourage you to go there for some free wine tasting.

Nice place with excellent assortment of wines. Lots of fruit wines (which I like) as well as dry reds and whites. Nice outdoor seating area, you CAN bring food or snacks in with you. They do not serve food but state several places will deliver to you while at the winery. Great place to spend some time with friends. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Prices are low for this quality of wine in my opinion.

We were fortunate to discover this winery a year ago. The wines were all delicious, and we ended up buying a case. We returned to find the same quality and memorable exoerience. Bo and Charlie are lovely people. They make you feel welcome and their passion shows in their product. Can't say enough positive things about this place.
