This office rock! They went above & beyond what I expected. Front desk got me in the office same day 2 days in a row. And Dr. Sack is amazing! Her knowledge is incredible, bedside manner is refreshing & it shows how much she love ‘her’ patients. She explains everything in layman’s terms; you’ll never leave the office wondering or confused. As I write this note there aren’t words that can truly express my gratitude…her diagnosis, quick thinking, & referring us to the ER saved my baby’s life. I truly thank you!!!

Rico had his first appointment with Dr Vourlos and he loved her. We are first time dog parents and had just a few questions. All of our questions were answered and we felt welcomed to ask more. The receptionists were very kind and our technician was very helpful in helping to get his chip information also. Great experience, thank you to all the staff!

My pups Bella and Sophie have been patients at Berg Animal Hospital for at least 13 years. Their care and compassion has been beyond exceptional. Bella passed away on January 30th of this year. She was 15 years old. The staff and doctor were so caring.I can not recommend them enough. The are the best of the best!!

I was mistaken about the appt. time which was my mix up and I take full responsibility for. But an empty office and a cat who just needs a quick check up for flea medication takes all of 5 min. I would have been extraordinarily grateful and you would have kept a customer for both our pets. Hasta luego.

This office is great!!! Appointments are very easy to make and I love that the office sends text to remind you. Prices are very reasonable and no surprises. Everyone in the office is very patient with my very hyper dog. Highly recommend this office!

We have been taking our fur babies to Berg Animal hospital for over 17 hrs. I can not imagine going elsewhere. Each vet and vet tech has always been very intensive to our needs and what’s best for our pets. Dr Montekio is such a blessing, we love her and our dogs are very comfortable with her. Lord knows we have been there more frequently as our 16 ur old was diagnosed with Cushings disease a few years ago, and then the unexpected blow to our hearts he developed cancer. Berg has always been available for last minute appts needed for him over last few months of his life. And Dr Montekio has handled our boy so very honestly and so gentle, it put us at ease when explaining his issues and what should be done and what we didn’t need extra for him. He deteriorated so quickly within a week, and she did warn us it would happen. So the night he lost his mobility and was not able to stand, running dangerously high fever and crying in pain, they answered the phone early in morning hours so she could check him out. We knew it was his time, and we promised it would be done at home surrounded by his loving family. She gave him some pain meds to calm his pain while they gave us info for at home services. In which the person who contacted us back immediately and said she would be over in a couple hours. When she arrived, our dog remembered her as she was his vet when he was younger. It made the heart breaking process very softly and very calming for our beloved son as well as us. Her bedside manner was so caring and warming, and it was quick painless and so very peaceful. We rescue senior chihuahuas and always bring in our new ones for wellness check ups to get onto their system, and I absolutely LOVE the ladies at front desk. For knowing us and our many many visits, they have always be so accommodating to both our pets and us. When we received the call that our beloved son who passed was at the office to pick up his ashes, the ladies cried with me as they have known him just as long. They care so much about each and every pet who comes in, and I can’t thank them enough for all the years of being so gentle with each of our 5 dogs (3 cats). We highly recommend berg animal hospital for your pets needs. I can say enough how grateful for them and Dr Montekio for her caring help and everything she has done for us. Hopefully in a few weeks we will show up with another senior chihuahua rescue to get a full exam and introduce him/her to the best Drs and care. I want to thank every single staff member and vet techs, and Drs for all the years of caring for our pets! I cannot express how great they have been since day one when even Dr Berg himself was still practicing. Our family appreciates you all, and we boast highly to anyone who asks where to take their pets! Our dearest, honest testimony from The Weaver Family. Killer (our oldest who past at age 16 this summer) our feisty girl Kricket, our little WeeWee, Jack the 4 pound yorkie, and last but not least or newest (this summer) rescue from Idaho Miss Molly Mo. cats thank you as well, Bagheera, Bean, and our wild 30 pound Russian Blue Dexter! From the Weaver family, we love and appreciate all our complicated pets and your caring service! We will NEVER take our babies anywhere else! 5 star is not enough, our rating is high off the charts! To the lovey ladies at the front desk, Janine, Kathy, Sam and a special thanks to Cornelia and Lisa! Most of all Dr Montekio (and also a congrats on her pregnancy due any day now) have a healthy and happy baby sending our love prayers so safe healthy delivery, and come back to work soon as we will be introducing a new senior rescue as we are looking now for the most broken, oldest, ugliest overseen chihuahua on a kill list throughout the USA to save and join our “senior retirement home for dogs” as we call it! Our family loves you all and thanks you from bottom of our hearts for all the years of gentle service you all have provided. Took my previous dogs here for years before they switched over and we loved them. Unfortunately, with the switch over we saw a lot of changes. I rescued my current dog 3 years ago and had so many issues with him biting his feet nonstop to the point he would cry. I voiced my concerns many times and they were overlooked and blamed on "anxiety". I went home feeling discouraged every time because I knew something else had to be wrong. The last time I had a visit at this clinic, I brought up my concerns again and said I would pay for any allergy test they could provide. Their response to me was "How do you expect him not to have anxiety when he doesn't know when you're going to shock him?" for a minute I did not understand the question, until I realized they were referring to the GPS tracker on his collar, mistaking it for a shock collar. I was beside myself after being talked to like that, I explained to them it was a Fitbark GPS and showed them the app on my phone, as my dog is a runner. They proceeded to say "Well look at him now, he is having anxiety" which my response was "He is at the vet, of course he has anxiety". I was very disappointed in the way I was treated and was told when my dog is biting his feet during the hours of the night to 'bring him on a walk'. Mind you, he bites his feet all hours the night. I luckily found a vet who listened to my concerns, and told me it is 100% an environmental allergy and put him on allergy medicine and hasn't been biting his feet since. I wish I made the switch sooner for my dogs well being, would not return.

Use to bring our animals here all the time. Went in to get a pets medication for my dad I kindly and jokingly asked how do you get a urine sample from a dog ?? I got two idiots looking at me like I’m asking them something ridiculous. You’re a vet you should have some type of answer not look at me like how dare I not know.. smh.. 😂😂

Dr. Sack and the whole team at Berg were great to work with. I love the online scheduling, which makes it easy to make and reschedule appointments. They were very gentle with my cats and kind to me as well. Prices were a bit high, in my opinion, but they do give very good care.

Use to be excellent.Now they told me my sick kitty was fine. He had cancer, died a few months later.Jeanne was terrible ! She mean mouths virtually every customer.Dr. Berg was wonderful and these folks are coasting on his reputation.I was a lifetime fan, not anymore.Jeanne needs to be retrained.

I could write an entire book about how much I LOVE Berg Animal Hospital! Dr Montekio and everyone at Berg I could write an entire review about all of the unconditional love they give pets and we humans the pet parents too. I feel like they are family and always go out of their way to help. I have been going there for over 20 years but love it even more now with Dr. Montekio . When she first began at Berg she helped me through my beloved kitty's transitioning and treated us like beloved friends 10 stars for everyone there and most recently for Cornelia making sure to help me order my kitty Vicki's medicine and get it delivered when my car broke down in the beginning of the pandemic. WE LOVE YOU ALL FUREVER!!!!THANK YOU!

From the minute we walked in the door, till we exited after our appointment, we were treated like family. My 6 year old shepard Delilah felt no stress or anxiety 100% due to the staff andDr. Sack... No guessing, very thorough and was not rushed at all... See you all in 2 weeks.

Berg Hospital is the best! Everyone was so very nice , friendly and informative. The front desk receptionist were so warm and caring, the nurse came out to greet my son’s 5 month old kitten with compassion and escorted us into the examination room. She was gentle and professional. Dr.Sack was our doctor and she was wonderful. Diagnosing the kitten with an URI, prescribed medicine and direction for treatment. Thank you all so much! I would give you 10 stars.

Have had 2 dog treated there for years. Was very sad to hear Dr. Montekio left however the other doctors are just as knowledgeable, caring and compassionate. Bishop loves coming to visit! Very happy with the care and the ladies at the front desk are so sweet! Thank you Dr. Sack for everything these last few weeks! Bishops healing very well from being neutered and he's back to his normal 12 year old puppy self! ❤

My husband and I take our cat here since the time we adopted her, two years ago, and we could not be happier.The Dr., the techs and the front desk always truly and deeply care for our pet and will try to accommodate any needs or emergencies as best as they can.Pricing is always reasonable, even for surgeries, and they never “push the sale” , they really care for your pets and will tell you honestly when a procedure is needed versus when it is recommended but not compulsory.They always explain to us everything and have great empathy, you will notice it by the way they handle your pets. Our cat always comes out from Berg happier and calmer than how she entered!Please never change !Thank you so much Berg’s team and especially Dr. Sack.

We recently switched vets to have one closer to home and we were very happy we did. We were warmly welcomed! All of the staff, vet techs, and veterinarian were all very kind. We were very happy with the switch. Added bonus the property has a nice little area for pets to relieve themselves which is a nice moment of zen for the pups!
