I absolutely love shopping at this local supermarket! Not only is the store conveniently located, but the staff is always friendly and helpful. And it’s family owned and operated. The selection of products is fantastic, and I can always find everything I need for my weekly grocery shopping. The prices are also very competitive, and I appreciate the weekly specials and discounts that help me save money. Overall, I highly recommend this supermarket to anyone looking for a great shopping experience.FYI. They have monthly money savings coupons in the Route 9 Shopper

Well the Food Emporium is finally open. I'll update my review in a couple months since we only walked around the place today. But it looks like it will be a great store. Very clean, nice people, and looks like a great selection. Prices are a little higher as you might expect with specialty stores.I was surprised to see that this was a full supermarket. I thought it would be just specialty foods but it is the full thing. Definitely give it a visit.

Catering from Food Emporium is off the charts good! The portions were large and the taste of all the food was incredible! Delivery was on time (to the minute!). Highly recommend!

Three times I purchased meat at food emporium and 3x there was a problem:Lamb chops were rottenChicken cutlets slimyPork sausage meat that cooked and tasted like chicken with no seasoning.Beware the meat department.

This is a nice store small easy to get around all of the prepared foods Meat and Fish all look and taste great. Bakery department is very nice lot of sweet good looking tasty things. The food emporium is Very clean and neat. I definitely recommend this store. The management is very helpful & friendly The food emporium is like a corner grocery store from the '60s the way I am treated. If you have a problem they will do their best to try and take care of it. I will go back and I shop here often. I can't say enough good things about this store. The management is so helpful . The employees are friendly and helpful also. They have prepared meals that are very good and there are sure enough of them good variety plenty to eat, fresh Italian bread very good. They deliver, and have curbside pickup The Managers even remember my name.

Food Emporium helped get us through the pandemic. Try the pico de gallo and mix it with ripe avocados. Best guacamole you’ll ever have. Their chocolate babka is phenomenal.

Very nice grocery store. Very clean. Lots of eastern European foods, a little pricey compared to the larger chains but worth it. Everyone was friendly, the lot is big simple and clean and there are all the useful series nestled in this shopping center.

The store is super clean, the staff and management are very nice. BUT, so much of the food on the shelves is either at or beyond the expiration date. It’s so bad that you have to check all the dates on everything before adding to your cart. Seems easy to fix, but it’s been like this for over a year.

What a great supermarket! I moved here recently and once I found this store I felt "at home". Always, so clean, and I can take my time to peruse the aisles. The premade food is so delicious- it's our treat! The staff is wonderful, especially Maria who works checkout early during the week, and the manager, Mike, who is always so helpful and goes out of his to way to accommodate me!!

They're always so helpful here. I appreciate that it's a smaller store that still manages a decent variety and selection. Yes, some things cost a little more from time to time but I love that we have a local grocery store that it feels like is in tune with the community they serve.

Came in today and the guy at the deli counter immediately to the left when you walk in was loudly asking customers who they voted for and going on about Donald Trump. Every other staff member I encountered was wonderful. I just thought management might like to know this guy is doing this. No one needs to involve politics when people are just trying to shop for groceries.

I had a small delivery order of a 3’ sub and a fruit platter for a party. The sub was absolutely delicious and beautifully arranged! The fruit platter was also arranged nicely and the fruit was so ripe! Mike was super easy to work with and they even delivered it to our site! Five stars. Two thumbs up! I only wish I had a photo to share!

Great local supermarket which has a great selection of meats. Each week there is usually a sale on prime meat and it always cook up delicious.Deli is great with Boards Head products and many great precooked foods. Try the chicken parmesan egg roll, it's really good.Owners support the community and hire lots of local kids. Selection at times can be limited as store is not huge, but managers will take many suggestions for products and do their best to get them if they can.The store is an asset to Marlboro and very much needed on that side of town with no other local options.Great deals on meat every week!!

Very pleasant little grocery store! Always well stocked, clean, quiet and never really crowded. Prepared foods are delicious, produce is a hit or miss but when it’s a hit it’s amazing. Prices can be a little high for some stuff but it’s much more reasonable than Whole Foods. I stopped in after going to Big Brook Park for a long walk and when I entered my blood sugar was plummeting and I felt weak. I was able to quickly grab some groceries and a drink to bring my blood sugar up, in and out within 10 minutes. Staff is super laid back and pleasant. I like it here very much. It’s a very calm and relaxed shopping environment.

Customer service is great, but I shop there because they have the best and cheapest meat in the area. The produce is also always very fresh they have the best berries I’ve ever had I complimented the produce manager. I can get everything I need easily and it’s clean and fresh. I just found this store and I couldn’t be happier I did!

The place is kept very clean and well organized. The fruits and vegetables are always fresh. There is a reasonable variety of groceries and brands. The staff are always helpful, willing to make the extra effort to help you locate something, and not simply point you to an aisle. I also very much appreciate the services that have been offered during the pandemic (i.e., home delivery, curbside delivery, and senior hours).

I have to take a few minutes and share the experience we have had with this market. The staff is unbelievable! They actually answer the phone, and are extremely pleasant as well. The shoppers are friendly, polite and very helpful. My orders have been filled curbside with great prices, courtesy and a smile-what else can you ask for? Ordered a prime rib with the help from Manny in the Marlboro store. It was one of the best we ever had and the staff and Manny knew the correct size to feed 12 hungry people. Great place to buy Prime meats

My girlfriend & I went to The Food Emporium for the first time today. Hands down the best grocery store I've ever been to. We went in looking for just something to eat and asked Demetri who works at their prepared food counter a few questions and not only was he extremely pleasant to talk with he was extremely helpful. After my experience I honestly don't think that I'm ever going to shop at any other grocery store again. It's not just the staff they are reasonably priced, well stocked, and the store itself was incredibly clean. THIS IS HIS GF ... " I found my new favorite store!!! The pharmacy was AMAZING and they had masks! Demetri rocked...the manager by the cashier was a sweetheart, and the pharmacy guy was so helpful and funny...And the store was INCREDIBLY clean... So great to see smiling faces at a time like we now find ourselves!!! We will be going back!!!! "

Over priced but it's a nice atmosphere. Good choices not everything you may need but still ok. I come here for the big bag of ice and when I'm desperateAfter living for quite some time near this food emporium I found it to be better than the first time I went. It's clean fast to check out and many options that I hadn't noticed before. Going to miss shopping here. Thank you food emporium.
