Very convenient when working in the area. Needed some last minute things for the job. Staff there was very helpful when looking for certain things. I didn’t have to drive far to get the things I needed. It may be a little pricier but it saves you a trip. You’ll most likely spend the same amount in total including gas trying to get it cheaper at a place farther away.

Everyone is always super polite and friendly but I guess the UPS workers are a different story. Today my dad dropped off a package for me and mistakenly forgot to tape the box up. The lady worker this afternoon on 6/21/2023 told my dad, he can pay her to tape the box in a very rude tone of voice. This isn’t great customer service, we won’t be returning to this stores UPS section. It takes more energy to be nasty towards someone. Be kind!

Great local hardware spot for the do it yourself small jobs. Also great for batteries cleaning supplies and lawn n beach chairs. Sell lotto tickets here too. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Great neighborhood place but they definitely have beach pricing.

Colmar True Value does a great job of carrying just about everything and their prices are comparable. The service is top notch. I have purchased everything from screws to paint, cleaning products, 2 grills (delivered), coolers, plumbing parts... you name it. I love this store. When we need something we go to Colmar.

Great personal service while looking for needed items. Quick in and out, which is always a plus. Very well stocked, neat and in place. I will be back.Update: It's August 22, Colmar is still my go to hardware store for great service and convenience. Prices are just a little bit higher than big box stores, absolutely worth it to come here 1st.

Colmar True Value in Margate City is great for all of your home needs. The location is in the middle of all of the action. Restaurants, shoppes, and more in walking distance. This True Value also contains a UPS store inside which is very convenient for all of your shipping needs.

They do not honor the national True Value sales, so make sure you check pricing with the store and do not go by pricing shown on True Value web site. Recently charged significantly more for items I could have had shipped to store. One item was a 40% price increase.

WOW!! I can't believe I forgot to write this. I came in for some jigsaw blades. The staff went above & beyond to help. It was truly My BEST EXPERIENCE in a hardware store(& I'm a contractor)...5-STAR(I'd give them 10 if I could)

Colmar is the only hardware store downbeach. The service here is phenomenal. You are treated like family and help is always available (4thnof July weekend you may have a few minutes of wait). They have all the tools and supplies you need for big and small projects. Oh, don't forget, beach supplies! Toys, chairs and umbrellas!

They sold me a product they knew to be defective. A coaster brown rubber wheel that marks up floors. Manager even said they had this wheel on one of their chairs and had to get a clear wheel from another supplier since they do not handle clear wheels. They let me special order them when they knew they mark up floors. Tried to exchange them for a clear wheel or white wheel. They do not make either. They would not back their product and take them back. They said I needed the original packaging. Well who saves that for three weeks? And. I am sorry. They would take them back and re sell them again if I had the packaging , knowing they mark up floors and are defective? Wow. Not a quality store. Very sad.

Shame on this store and it's managers? If you treat your customers the same way you treat possible employees , it amazes me how you have decent review ratings!!I've managed stores before and this manager gives good managers a bad name with promising open positions and then backing out of his word !!Never over promise and under deliver!!It makes your company look bad not just you!!!

So happy that there are still a few "real" hardware stores left. If only we could support them and not homedepot which is so useless. I got just what I needed, quickly, from someone who knew what I wanted. Conversely, this was my second stop after homedepot failed me again. Thanks Colmar True Value!

Great place, all the people are very knowledgeable about everything from paint, heating to lighting supplies. Sam is wonderful, very helpful and if he doesn't have what you need, he will find it or order it.

Wonderful well stocked neighborhood family hardware store plus so much more. Always there with answers to questions advise and friendly help. Also a ups store with copiers and fax, kitchen remodeling, grills and outdoor furniture.

I was halfway through a paint project and my wife went there to buy another can. Tried to upsell my wife to another paint product when she showed them a picture of exactly what we wanted and they had it in stock. So they basically disregarded what we asked for and did not listen. Infuriating to deal with!

It's my favorite place to go! They have it all. Everyone is so helpful! I even had them do a little makeover on my kitchen...it was everything plus more!!!!!
