I am a big fan of the Restore both donating and purchasing. Not this one anymore. Everyone there seems willing to help. The last experience I had in the store today has made me change my mind about this restore. New items were coming in with no prices. I asked specifically about 2 items. One at $30 and one at $35. I planned on taking the $35 one (it was a little fancier). and when I back to look for anything I may have missed , the $30 item was sold at $20. I tried to talk with the guy who told me the original prices. He kept a steady pace walking away from me to the back of the store. I tried to follow him and ask a question. I would have purchased the $20. I will NEVER go back to the MANVILLE RARITAN VALLEY RESTORE.Btw your prices went up for a Restore. Perhaps it is bc I am female that the guy bring in the furniture just swiftly walked away from me.

One of my favorite locations! I bought so many cute pieces for my apartment here, and all so cheap. Good variety of artwork, though some pieces are very expensive; others more reasonably priced.

Really an awesome place to go to in Manville. I was not aware but students get 25% off at least when we went there. There is tons of stuff for decently fair prices and it supports a good cause. I have been here multiple times and have never left empty handed. The staff is also very nice, funny, and helpful.

Told us we couldn’t come in and store was closed before closing time. Understandably it was 5:48 however I still think the store should allow people in at least letting them know they are closing and to hurry up

This is a very well organized and brightly lit thrift type donation center where bargains can be found on gently used furniture, small electronics, books, kitchenware, curtains, etc. with the proceeds going toward building homes in Somerset & Hunterdon counties. Donations are accepted here and friendly, helpful volunteers staff the store.

Great work by the team at Habitat in Raritan. I had a number of items to donate. The process was quick and easy to set up, so flexible!! I received constant communication via email and phone call confirming my pick, even the day of 30 minutes prior. The gentlemen who arrived were efficient and really took care with the items in loading and securing, ensuring safe travel back to the store. They were extremely nice and work so hard! Thank you all for making my donation a great experience!

This is a really great store with awesome finds for extremely reasonable prices. We got a really nice oak dining room table with 4 chairs and a bench for $225, truly a steal. The workers are all very friendly and helpful. Special about out to Maurice for helping us load everything into our car (which I did not think was possible but he made it work with ease!). He was upbeat and professional and a pleasure to work with. Great place for other smaller finds too, and it feels good to support a worthy cause and give used items a second life.

If I could give a lower rating I would have. I went to this store looking for a full bed frame and I was treated so badly. The manager Coleen was so rude when we asked for help. One of the employees came over to help and she berated him for doing so. Saying we had to "figure it out ourselves" and that they didn't have time to be assiting people. It was appalling and the think the person responsible for customer satisfaction was the worst behaved, terrible!

Very bad first experience of this place when I donated two pieces of furniture today and dealt with a wanna-be-tough-guy on a power-trip. Gives a very bad name to "Christian Charitable Organization". Gave me nasty attitude the entire time because I was not aware of a scheduled drop off requirement on the website. I had planned on shopping at the store after dropping off but after that interaction I just left. There was zero professionalism from this guy...he even said the young kid who was helping direct people in the rear was a "nobody" and that I should have looked for a "somebody". Won't be back here or any other Habitat for Humanity place to donate in the future which is sad because I used to visit/give to the Randolph store often. I don't need to deal with this especially when I am just TRYING TO DONATE TO CHARITY. Never again....Update a year later:Over a year has passed and I just stopped back in because I was in the area…much better experience because it looksLike a new group of people. Bought a few items and had a much more pleasant experience…from a 1 star to 4 stars now👍👍

I volunteer here, which is a really fun experience, but if i didn't i would be in shopping once a week. Everything from kitchen gadgets to craft supplies to gardening tools, constant influx of treasure .Prices cannot be beat, many new items, great art, cds, toys, and beautiful furniture. .youbwont leave empty handed!

Lots of different finds here! From furniture to books, lightly used items find a restorative home, and with a great cause also (proceeds go to help those in need with housing!). So not only do you find some affordable items in good condition but also supporting a good cause. I took one star off because the customer service line is very slow, and only discounts for seniors or veterans on a daily basis.

My husband and I really like shopping at this store. The store is generally clean and there are usually staff available to help you if you have questions. They have a wide variety of different home items. We've purchased a dresser, table, vases, utensils, a dishwasher, and other decorative items here. They also have great sales occasionally.

This store never disappoints, other than that there are too few of them around. Items that are sometimes 60-80% more in stores can be found at extremely low cost here. I feel like a kid in a candy store every time we come shopping. Once in a while I don't find anything to buy but it's always fun to walk around regardless. I highly recommend any of their stores.

The Habitate Restore is the perfect place to find everything you need! From furniture to building supplies, small household items to light fixtures, you can't go wrong with the prices! New inventory every day so stop in often! Friendly and fun place to volunteer too!

Good staff -- they care about their mission to support the Habitat for Humanity effort. Also, it was impressive to hear that some members are actually volunteers! It's different from other stores -- the items are always changing. So if you have a keen eye for value its worth browsing and donating! If you have good items to furnish a new home ask them about donating. You can even donate an used vehicle!

So overpriced!! Go to the Washington Restore. Almost triple the price. Don't get ripped off!- go to a different location. I feel this location takes advantage of the fact that many of the customers in Manville lack a car/transportation

Great prices, excellent selection of furniture, art, and mirrors. Spent an hour here today and was really pleased. The store was neat and clean and the employees were friendly. This will be a regular haunt for me.

An excellent place for used tools, used furniture, many newer items from local stores and building materials as available. Materials and tools are inspected before going on sale. Shop often.

Stick with the volunteers if you need help. The employee I dealt with was absolutely miserable. Waited 2 weeks and drove a decent distance to go to the store because I had heard good things and like their mission statement. Never going back. Never spending another dime with them.

Raritan valley habitat for humanity is a good place to find some truly excellent hidden treasures. And you can’t beat their prices! Visit often as the inventory changes every day.

So many furnitures to choose from, even though you won’t find anything that instantly stands out. There are still some stuff here I may want to bring home but nothing I really need right now. Highly recommended! And the staff is NOT desperate to sell you anything so you won’t be bothered until you ask for assistance.

First ever impressionof this place:I just went to donate 1:45 on 12/8/2021. And was met with the MOST RUDE woman. We follow a guy into the back with our first load. Thinking we'd ask someone how it works. The FIRST statement out of this womans mouth was not any greeting. It was "oh so you just come in here without an appointment, no ringing the bell?" Uhhh.. first, the voice-mail does not state an appt is needed just the hours of drop-off. Second, she didnt ask if we had an appt. Just assumed we didnt. Third the door was PROPED OPEN. We had planned on shopping at the store after dropping off but after that interaction I do not want to ever shop at or donate to that store again. There was zero professionalism from this lady and the other people who worked there just stared without a word.

They don’t treat customers appropriately. They have to respect customers, we customers giving them businesses.Very disappointed! Will never buy anything anymore from this store!

Love the store. But, the hours have changed a few times and they should update the websites that have them listed, like Google Maps.

I love stores like this. It is so awesome that they sponsor activities like take some paint, take a piece a furniture, fix it up, and donate it back, then get a free grab bag. That is so cool.
