His shop is prone to flooding so if you think the raritan will crest, you may have to wait a bit for work to be completed or to get your firearm back. Otherwise, Bob is a nice guy, and a competent gunsmith ✌️

Cheyenne has competitive prices and the selection on their online inventory seems good for the models I was looking into. Bob was fast responding to emails and all the paperwork was painless. This was for a pistol purchase, have yet to need gunsmithing but will keep it in mind for the future.

First time purchasing a shotgun in over 40 yrs. Ended up purchasing one online and chose Bob as my FFL for the transfer dealer because he has the lowest price around. Of coarse I didn't realize the one I picked out was illegal in NJ because of a pistol grip on it. Who knew?? Bob was great about it, he explained what the problem was and returned it to UPS for me to send back to the online store for credit. Didn't realize Bob had an online inventory until after my first purchase and chose him as my FFL. I checked out his inventory and ended up buying a comparable gun at a competitive price from him. Shipping and the NICS check were fast. And when I arrived to pick up the gun Bob had already filled out his part of the forms, so that process went quickly also. Bob is very knowledgeable with firearms and the laws and has a nice selection of guns. Was a hassle free and pleasurable experience dealing with him. Will definitely use him again for my next purchase and recommend him to anyone looking for a firearm.

This review is really a 4.5 but I gave this store 5 stars because it would be more fair. They earned the nod in their favor because of their good selection, customer service and very knowledgeable staff. They didn't do anything wrong but the prices are not very competitive and pretty much standard retail (and some even above, see CONS below).

The owner Bob exemplifies the true meaning of excellent customer service, and by far has the best prices around NJ. I’ve done extensive research on an HK P30S V3, and haven’t been able to find the gun available anywhere in central or north NJ gun shops. The ones that had HK’s we’re charging over 15% above Bob’s online prices. Bob had the exact gun/model I was looking for on his online store, but due to my procrastination and numerous questions (he happily answered all and was super friendly), it sold out in less than a day... However, thanks to Bob having the lowest transfer fees around, he was still able to get me an HK P30S V3 that I found online/out of state, at a super competitive price (ended up being only slightly above his online prices with the shipping costs). His prior law enforcement experience and expertise as a gunsmith shows when you ask him any question pertaining to handgun or laws. I am beyond satisfied and honestly can’t imagine using any other business for purchasing handguns or gunsmith services. I plan on recommending to all family and friends. Thank you, Bob!!

Took my AR here to make it NJ legal by having the flash suppressor welded on. This place was a very fair price, and lower than other gun shops in the area. I was told 2 weeks (which the owner said was longer than usual), but I told the owner no rush as it was the middle of the winter and I didn't need it anytime soon. It was still done in the quoted time, and he did a great job. Highly recommended.
