The store is small. Some items are a little expensive. But it's easy to get around. The produce doesn't last as long as I'd like it to. The flowers are beautiful and inexpensive and last a long time.

It has come to my attention through firsthand observations that Julie (Bakery Manager) has engaged in the regrettable habit of making derogatory remarks about her fellow employees. Such behavior not only undermines the collaborative spirit essential for a harmonious workplace but also tarnishes the reputation of ACME, an establishment known for its commitment to excellence. I believe that fostering a positive work environment is crucial for the well-being of employees and the overall success of the organization. Such conduct not only fails to meet these standards but also creates an atmosphere of distrust and discomfort. Moreover, this behavior contradicts the principles of respect and professionalism that are expected of all employees, especially those in managerial positions.

This ACME smells and very dirty. It's only good for a quickie, mike and bread. "Hit & Run". This store needs to be cleaned up.

Manager went above and beyond to help me find what I needed! I’m not from this area but would highly recommend if you are down visiting and need food and snacks for the weekend! Very clean, easy shopping and fair prices!

Was overcharged for strawberries and went to the front counter. She was great!!! I wish I got her name. So pleasant and helpful to me. Made my Saturday morning 11/18. Then she had to help the cashier when we were checking out. So nice to us and the cashier.

The only acme where you can stand at the customer service desk for 10+ minutes while there's 4-5 people laughing and playing around at one register then act nasty when I finally if if someone's going to help me .

Very clean, friendly environment. Well stocked. Bagged rolls in deli are the best!! Prices are a little high, but then again, so is every other market near LBI. Very quick service and check out. Recommend highly.

Older, smaller, scattered inventory, and fruit is bad to okay. Also slightly more expensive compared to other stores nearby. Serviceable when I'm in a pinch but otherwise avoid.

Very limited on selections. If you want frozen shrimp expect only to get shrimp for a salad and no more. No butcher any where to be seen whatbis in the case is what you get. Guess if you don't want selection and only need what WaWa offers you are fine to shop here for groceries.

Acme markets always has all the different products that you need. It's nice to go to go someplace that you can get everything in one stop. They will have your holiday and seasonal items, your groceries, odds and ends for around the house like light bulbs and electrical cords. They have pet food for dogs, cats and sometimes they carry other pet accessories like bird, food, hamster, food and other products. You just have to visit the acme and you will see

This ACME is a bit smaller than the other one, but the meat selection is good and looks clean. I am not a huge fan of how this store is set up, it's hard to find things, but overall not a bad store, it is a bit on the pricey side.

Went to store on Bay Ave in Manahawkin, NJ on my lunch break. Purchased 10 bottles of seltzer. Got to front of store to check out with one register open (the express).There were two people ahead of me. Clearly should have had another register open for people who did not belong in express lane. When it was my turn to check out the clerk asked it they were all the same flavor. I replied yes so she took one bottle and ran it in front of scanner 10 times. In the process she never moved one bottle to the other side of scanner. Once done she asked me if I had reusable bags with me to which I replied no.At that point she pulled off 4 plastic bags and threw them on top of bottles that I had laying down on the belt. She told me here you can bag them or put them in your cart without bags if that is what you want to do.I truly felt that she was extremely rude. So the clerks don’t bag any longer? I am confused? I don’t have a problem bagging my own items but move them to the other side and I will gladly bag them, and don’t throw the plastic bags on top of my items and tell me here you can bag them yourself. It should be my decisionwhether or not I choose to bag my own items. Isn’t bagging the items part of the clerks job that they are getting paid to do?Whatever happened to customer service?

Like all stores now, they want you to use the self check out.Cashless, headache, constantly needs someone to come over and correct something if you can find anyone. It wasn't just me having problems. The cashier line was not moving either, I look at it this way, if I have to scan, bag, have someone come over and fix some problem and have to use a cashless service. I deserve 10% off for the work I have to do

This facility is beyond disgusting..Have to do a post before actually putting in the paperwork.Do not shop here prices are twice what they should be.Black mold all over the facility.Unsanitary refrigeration.Black ice found along the back and bottom of all refrigerators.This facility has not been cleaned.They are inflating the prices illegally...

How about posting your hours correctly on your website for the Manahawkin store. I don't appreciate showing up at 6:10 am to find the doors locked with no sign about hours on the door. Your website said 6am so I took my business elsewhere!my business elsewhere!

I feel compelled to address the comments about not enough people on registers in the store. Between my husband and I, we are at Manahawkin Acme on a nearly daily basis all year long , at all times of the day. As soon as the lines get to more than 2 people another person is called to man the register.In addition, there is always someone to assist if you need help. The produce, meat, and deli departments are outstanding . The interior of the building is clean and well-maintained, the staff friendly and efficient. We always save 15-30% through their excellent sales.As 40 year residents and frequent shoppers, this our go - to grocery store.

It's reliably decent and the food is good quality, but I find the prices to generally be higher here than at competing grocery stores in the area. It's main selling point is convenience in location and in avoiding the hassle of driving the insanity of 72 in the summer.
