Great selection, the store is very clean and organized. I asked several staff members questions to see just how they'd react and they were all helpful. Even those who were already busy were polite and pointed me in the right direction. The gardening section was clean and still had trees so chose from for the last minute shoppers, the Christmas isle also had plenty of decorations available.

Why does Home Depot and lowes employ people who NEVER want to help you, or extend a little help. Every time I shop at Home depot (or 90% of other brick and moater stores) There is hardly anyone working. Then when you find someone they ALWAYS say, "not my department ", and state they will call a representative. No wonder why these brick and moater stores are all closing. Their service all scks!!!! It's sad that they are all closing, but to be honest...part of me says F them. If you don't provide good service, and hire people with an IQ of less than 30...then goodbye!

She spent many hours helping with my project, patiently going over every little detail with me, making sure I was happy with the outcome. Pam is a true professional and it was a pleasure to work with her.Thank you Pam!!!

I’ve been going to Home Depot for about 30 years now and have never had a bad experience. The staff is friendly and when I have a question they either know the answer or direct me to someone who does. Prices are fair as well and if you need help getting stuff into your car they are glad to oblige.

After checking stock on multiple items online where they had plenty of stock. Making a special trip to this store only finding out they don’t have it. Associates in different departments telling me that multiple items on my list are out of season and they don’t know where they are or just can’t find them. Guess I’m going back to shop on Amazon.

Horrible service. Came in to pick up an online order and a man named Tim in a regular t-shirt and pants, who looked like he would rather be anywhere else but there, nonchalantly took my husband and I to the outside vestibule to get my items. He then proceeded to find one box, gave it to us, closed the doors and started to walk away. My husband had the gut feeling to check the box to make sure all the items were there; they were not.The man came back and "looked" more without any shred of scrutiny. A woman named Claudia then came over to help but also did not see any of the missing items. Tim told us to come back to the register and was about to issue a refund. I expressed my frustration so he went back to look again.Claudia then straight up lied to us and said they receive the items in one package so if the other items aren't there then it is Home Depot's fault and I would have to call them directly. I asked if they kept a logbook of received orders to which she replied they do and they have my order number but obviously not the other items. She said she would give a refund for the missing items. I asked what was going to occur to reconcile not actually having the items today as promised--would she call to make another order for me--she said she would not because the order was made online through Home Depot. She said the refund was all she could do and that Home Depot messed up.Then Tim came back and said he found the missing items. I told Claudia her story was a lie and walked out with my items in four separate boxes.No apologies from either member. Claudia didn't even know Tim's name because "he is new". What a laughable customer service.

Spent way too much time going crazy between the website, the store isles, etc... Trying to find a solution for a simple gas adapter. Did not receive any efficient help from 3 different guys there. I forgot that Ace hardware exists. Should have gone there since the beginning. Also price is expensive considering the lack of help and service to customer. Will return for sure... not sure I have a choice.I rented a vehicle from HD and it was not clean at all. In the middle of COVID, it would be helpful if you cleaned up the cars at least once every 100 customers. It is concerning. Taking are of customers in the pandemic is not only hanging sing about how much you care.Update: This place is still terrible. Things are difficult to find. Stocks from the website and the store are not in Sync. What a mess!!Plus the prices are typically bad.Plus getting help is always difficult and useless.

I like this place Mahwa, Ramsay Town. It's been about 4 years since I came here, and everyone is kind and polite. Today, for the first time, I felt unfriendly here, where I go every week. I bought the lumber, but I didn't know the size of the lumber. But I needed it, and the lumber didn't have a price tag. The clerk asked me to double check and take pictures, so I checked again and there was no price tag. I called another employee and this employee also asked me to take a picture of the price tag. How can I ask you to take a picture without a price tag... They didn't even check and asked me to take a picture, and then they asked me the size of the wood. In a bad mood, he said he would not buy lumber without a price tag. Two young men and women were giggling behind me asking why I was buying lumber I didn't even know the size of. I have no desire to come here again... They ruined the middle of the day...

I went to the Mahwah location at about 2000 hours on a Saturday (tonight), with my family. I’ve shopped here many times, always receiving good customer service. Tonight I asked an associate for assistance in getting Birch plywood from an upper shelf, I needed 3 sheets and only 2 chewed up pieces we on the bottom shelf. This associate from the self checkout register got another associate to help me. This second associate should not be employed here- rude, unprofessional, unhelpful. He repeatedly asked if I needed it tonight. Asked why I needed it on a Saturday night. To expedite the conversation, I asked if there was anyone that could cut the board for me, when he suggested maybe I could use strand board (instead of answering my question). If you don’t want to help customers, don’t work customer service. If you have employees that don’t want to help customers, get rid of them.

This review is for Anika in Appliances. She went absolutely out of her way to find the product we were looking for.First, she called out to us across 2-3 aisles to ask us if we needed help. She then conducted a robust search for inventory that was in but could not be located.When she came back from one search with bad news, she did not stop! Right after that, she found the remaining inventory. She worked with us for more than an hour.It was such as great experience, I bought both remaining units.Anika is amazing! She has a fire in her belly for customer service! Go see her if you need appliances!

Hate Home Depot anymore. Only go if I can’t find something at Home Hardware and don’t want to drive to Lowe’s either in Paterson or Paramus. Stores are typically messy and not stocked well compared to years ago.

My wife and I had to buy a bunch of moulding. We never shopped for moulding before and we were struggling a bit in figuring out the entire thing. We approached Anthony in another department and he was great. He was patient while we crunched measurements, figured how much we needed, and then made our decisions. Thanks again Anthony for being patient, cutting the moulding, and being a pleasure to work with while we were there. We appreciated it!

Starting to get more of an inventory (inclusive of things you can find online). Customer service staff is helpful and deals with a variety of issues. The store is not kept in the nearest condition with some displays and samples being wrecked or destroyed. It leaves something to be desired.

I've been waiting for 15 minutes to cut a piece of wood. At least 5 employees walk by me. It was announced by intercom I am waiting but, as usual in Home Depot, employees are not there when you need them.

Today I had the pleasure of meeting an angry gruff older guy in the plumbing isle who told me "he didn't work in this department!", when I asked if they carried a water dispenser hook up for a refrigerator. Well sorry I asked! Instead of helping me he yelled at me that he wasn't looking for it and stormed away looking down at his phone wearing a dirty home depot apron. This store is poorly lite and that guy is a disgrace!

I’ve never written a bad review in my life, but I had a really bad experience here this morning. I went to complete a phone sale like I do at least twice a week at Home Depot, and they could not do the phone sale as I normally do it, due to their store policy being different than most. This is totally fine, I understand that different stores can have different policies, however, there was a taller woman at the desk who immediately started saying that she wasn’t going to deal with this today and started spamming over the loudspeaker for the manager to come. I said it was fine and I would do the sale as their policy states but I needed five minutes. I got back in line and proceeded to do what I needed to do to cooperate with their policy and complete the phone sale. The gentleman in front of me must have had a question about a product which caused the employee to go with him for around ten minutes leaving no one at the desk. She returned just for a minute and finished dealing with the gentleman and promptly left again for another ten minutes, leaving the pro desk empty with a line of a few people, to the point where I had to go pay for the products myself at a normal register because I couldn’t wait any longer. One of the worst Home Depot experiences I’ve had. Im generally a very laid back person who gives people the benefit of the doubt but I felt this was so egregious that I had to share it. If you’re in the area maybe try the Home Depot down the street

Great place to Shop Valerie at Nursery was so helpful and pleasant to work with .Gloria from Bell Nursery shared so much knowledge about different options in shape,color, size... those 2 ladies made my shopping experience there very easy and special.I will take the extra time to drive there to support the type of business that seems good to theirs employees.
