This place is getting worse by the time. I don't know how's the day shift but I normally come here overnight almost every day for sandwiches and smoothies and isn't definitely what it was when the 2 guys. The current overnight employees doesn't want to work and always have an excuse to avoid making sandwiches or smoothies, those ladies want to be chilling the whole night. Most of the time u have to wait to pay with the store empty cuz they close the self service cash register and nobody in the counter.

How this place gets anything below 5 stars is beyond me !! I just started going ( staying at hotels on 17 ) and decided to check it out .. I have gone everyday for lunch .. the sandwiches are amazing..fresh ..and the shakes are great they also have regular staple items not only do they have cream for coffee but Irish cream .. amazing stafff is great as well!! For someone who is used to 711 this place beats all chains even some delis

Their food is disgusting. I was in last night and ordered a bacon egg and cheese and the bacon was completely burnt. They should fire the incompitent man who made it.

The customer service here is the worst of all the QuickChek I have ever been to. Twice, we tried to ask the lady making the sandwiches a question, to be ignored. As we walk in, they begin to tell us our orders will be 20 to 25 minutes. They cared more about stocking soup that nobody is buying than making the orders people put in the system. The most respectable person there was the gas attendant who kept coming in to help at register. I will continue to go to QuickChek at this location on route 17 south. Every time I have a bad experience I will write another review. For reference, this is the one on route 17 south by the Hampton Inn and Suites.

Different town, same old poorly managed Quick Check. Upon entering at 820AM the outside garbage can is overflowing with soda stains on the sidewalk. No pride of work shown by keeping a clean environment.Checkout was only two self check stations open as the line grew to eight or ten deep. Employee behind the counter made no effort to open another self check or open a manned station. Spent 10 minutes trying to help someone who obviously was struggling with the self check process while the line grew and grew and grew.Poorly managed, questionable cleanliness of the exterior and apparent lack of interest by employees to handle traffic flow and to think of the needs of all customers makes this a place to avoid on Route 17 South.

Not enough people behind the sandwich counter at lunch time, you could wait around 15 minutes to get your order. If you order by mobile, tell them your number after you pay, they don't call out the mobile order numbers.

Every single day when I go to get coffee there always no coffee. There’s no half and half, I have to go grab it on my own. I shouldn’t have to do their jobs by having to walk over and get a half and half for my coffee. Quickchek pays THEM not me. The People who work the deli who also make the coffee don’t do their jobs. When there is coffee it’s been cold.This is ridiculous and the worse Quickchek in the area. I shouldn’t have to wait for them to brew the coffee either. This store needs some serious improvements. I will not be coming back to this store.

Why does lana think it's OK not to wear gloves? SEVERAL times I've spoken to her about it. Last week she was buttering rolls and bagging them with no gloves on. Second time I've seen her doing this.. Meanwhile she's smoking cigarettes and drinking coffee with her apron on, right in front of the store. She doesn't care st all about cross contamination. Another time I ordered a sandwich and she went from wiping down the counters to slicing my bread without changing her gloves. All the while she's splashing all over the food and prep area. When I confronted her about the issue she said "its OK, it's a disinfectant" I canceled my order and haven't purchased food from there since. Another night an employee was making coffee and handling the filters with no gloves, again. Ive spoken to Tina-the assistant manager as well but still nothing has changed.This store has a huge problem with sanitation which is a shame because I liked this location. It's one of the only spots available at night but the service is absolutely horrendous. I've even seen her tell people they would have to wait at least 45mins before she would get to their sandwich because she needs to make the grubhub orders first. She's just trying to deter people from ordering all together. And it's working. I don't even frequent this location anymore.

Just pulled up to get gas , there were exactly 3 other cars. The attendant ( i use that term loosely) came over . I stepped out the car and kindly told him, please give me a second I have to get the card for payment. He truly said , well I don't have time to wait for you , I have to run around and get these other cars. Really? I just had to get my card out of my.wallet. he then said you can pour it your self. No problem, but 10 seconds later all the cars left. Then Mr personality goes into the booth, sits and proceeds to scroll thru his cell phone. Wow some folks should just stay home . Aren't you supposed to help the guests? Service sucked but the price of their gas is just right! Lol hope he enjoys his weekend. #Salty Attendant someone should quick check him, I think he needs a break.

I love quickcheck but depending on the time your order can be really disappointing. Avoid going there from 10pm to 6am The lady that makes the sandwiches really does not care. If you go around 2 pm there is a girl that makes the sandwiches. Sue does it fast and well presentable. I believe she is hispanic. I hope the move the lady in night shift that deals with to another position. She sucks or really doesn't care. its March 30 2022. The clerk behind the sandwich shop name is Lana. She walkout to take a break right after I placed my order. Leaving the cashier alone with other costumers. Please move her or transfer her. This lady is single handly ruing this store.

Employees behind the sandwich counter need better training. They went directly from making my sandwich to cleaning the counter with a dirty wet rag, back to making my sandwich, without changing gloves. Why wear gloves then?? I honestly thought it would be common sense especially in a pandemic. Filthy and disgusting. Also they will actively ignore you and your order until they finally feel like making it. Spend your money somewhere else.

Worst Quickchek in New Jersey. This store’s coffee is ALWAYS COLD. They obviously don’t change out the coffee like they’re suppose to. The people who work the deli/coffee station. Don’t refill the half and half’s or milks.I have to walk to grab my own. It’s not my job to go and grab my own creamers for my coffees. If I could give NEGATIVE STARS. I’d give -5 out of -5.

I come to this location quite often (unfortunately). When I am running late I run in and have to grab something to eat from the ready made sandwich options. I used to go for the sausage egg and cheese empenadas but stopped the third time I got left over beef and cheese empenadas instead. Not only are the awful at labeling the empenadas but they also apparently don't label their sausage egg and cheese English muffins correctly considering it always seems to be a dried up burnt biscuit.I have ordered breakfast to be made and most the time its okay. However, the staff working behind the counter can be quite obnoxious. Like im pretty sure I should not have been standing there while they complained (loudly) about a bug on the floor. At this time it was one girl who screamed eww come look at this and had all of the people come over to see what was going on. Meanwhile as the customer I did not see a bug behind the counter, but let's face it their conversations weren't so hard to read in to.I am.over it and will not be returning to this store anymore after going quite often since the opening. I'd rather drive an extra 15 minutes to find something else than stop here on my way to work.

The night shift girl with the colored hair is always polite and does her job well. She is also nice to look at. She’s a definite improvement compared to who they had before, and compared to the deli woman as well.I’d give 5 stars if it wasn’t for the deli. I don’t order at night to avoid any interaction with her.

I was stuck at this quickcheck for over four hours today waiting for a tow. I cannot express how grateful I am to the associates that work there. Their kindness and warm-heartedness did not go unnoticed. Absolutely amazing team that went above and beyond for us. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU!!!!!!

I went there on a cold day to get coffee. They really are as hot as they say. When I went to pick up my coffee, a really nice lady, I think her name was Elif, greeted me with a smile. Overall really nice place, and really nice employees!

The people that work by the food and coffee are always talking while you stand there and wait for the coffee to be refilled or anything you need. The coffee is always either empty or the wrong flavor in the labeled coffee pots. There is one person that works by the food and all he does is talk and does not help customers or do his job at all! I come here every morning. And it's a let down almost every day. Gonna have to start going somewhere else...

The food preppers are consistently getting orders incorrect. It seems every time I do an add-on (which costs extra) I NEVER get it. I brought this to the GM's attention months ago. There are day's I'll have missing condiments, missing cheese and missing meat. I'm fed up with paying for incorrect items that I'll no longer get breakfast here.

I waited over a half hour to receive a sandwich of stale bread and undercooked chicken. The Mac n cheese portion was so small I actually needed a magnifying glass. Not to mention, the bacon was so burnt it was like eating cardboard. Ngl the smoothie was alright. 1/10 would not recommend.

Always clean outside and in. Very convenient neighborhood location. Great stock of both essential and nonessential items , snacks drinks . The sandwich shop is the best quick and easy. The staff here are great been to this location all hours of the day and night.

Stopped to get gas and the gentleman who filled my tank (I believe his name was Deke? I could be mistaken) was a GEM. He was so upbeat and nice, it just picked up my mood. Normally I’m a bit grumpy in the morning before my coffee, but his energy was contagious. Definitely appreciated the change of pace!

Open all night. Right off they high way. They serve food and coffee all night but no alcohol. I guess it’s a byob situation since there is no bouncer and unlimited reentry. The sound is alright, no bass and the music is a bit low and I couldn’t get the dj to play even one request. Maybe if they would stop running the strobe lights at full-on more people would be coming in. It’s WAY TO BRIGHT. Seems to be more of a sandwich shop than a club. They also have gas right outside.

They mess up my sandwich at least once a week, including today usually in the form of missing requested ingredients. With that said everything else about this place is great. Clean and staff is friendly.
