The store is really clean. Easy to find what you are looking for. My only complaint is the hot food area. Sometimes, there is no one to help. when someone is there, they will ignore you until they finish doing what they are doing. The customer is not the priority.

Large storeReasonably priced, when you hunt for bargain and use the app for coupons.Good product mixDidn't find many staff working the aisles. Hence, couldn't get help when I was slightly lost at times.The self checkout counters are helpful and pretty smooth. There's a staff there to assist you if needed.Last time I went there seemed to be an issue with a product offer. The staff helped me resolve it. They were patient and courteous.PS: they no longer have sushi 😥

Today was the last straw. I needed 12 roses so I go to acme and I see nothing besides white roses out on the floor. As I’m leaving I notice a couple dozen roses freshly delivered behind the counter. I inquire about them and the lady (who I so wish I had gotten her name) said to me they were out of red roses. I mentioned there were fresh ones behind the counter and she replied “those are old ones, the new ones were delivered but I’m not bringing them out yet”. People, stick to the Acme in Allendale. So much cleaner, and the staff WILL GO OUT OF THEIR WAY FOR YOU!!

The staff here are very helpful and friendly, and there is a good selection of products. Using the app helps you get good deals and rewards, although you don't need the app for some discounts.

When I moved to Sloatsburg years ago I was so happy shopping at the former A&P in Mahwah. As they deteriorated and eventually closed, we were presented with our current Acme of Mahwah. I couldn't be more satisfied. The quality, the employees, the selection. Outstanding fruit and veggies, cold cut, sea food and meat. The store is calm, parking excellent, drama free, if the prices are a little higher than some other stores, compare the sale prices. Sale items are better values than elseware. Give it a spin, you won't be disappointed.

I don't have many acme supermarkets near me, this one looks really good. Good variety of everything . It wasn't crowded on a Friday early evening. I'll come back when I'm in the area

Prices are high that's why I go to Aldi's the prices of meat are more reasonable there.Acme to high. Update 4/17 Bought Cheesecake from the bakery so good well done Bakery. Love their Bakery always delicious rolls,bagels and bake goods .

Produce such as fruits are very poor quality and over priced. I can buy the same fruits for less and they last at least a week longer??? Take a look at their premium Grapefruit pix I took yesterday, mmmmmmm I just love the taste of MOLD for breakfast. Can you see the green powder all over the bags, I never knew it can look like that I had to Google it..... smh!!I just moved here in February and OMG please somebody help me......I've got to find a Farmer's market somewhere around here!!!!!

Although not directly related to the store products or services, they should have some parking lot traffic surveillance with a police presence. It has been 2 times that I drive ON the center lane and there comes a car crossing over empty parking spots to get to the next lane, instead of them driving a bit further and going around as they should do. Today there was another car doing the same but farther up from my car.Are they going to wait for an accident to happen to put some surveillance here?

I go to Acme because it's close and the parking is more convenient than ShopRite, but the selection is often lacking and the produce is hit or miss (sometimes everything is limp and soggy and just doesn't look fresh, sometimes the produce shelves look great.) On more than one occasion I've had to throw out greens just a day or two after purchase. On a good note, the staff are always extra helpful and friendly and there's a Starbucks inside with workers who know how to make drinks. They usually have a good ratio of lanes open to people, plus plenty of self checkout lanes, so waiting in line to pay is never an issue. And the guy who does the overhead announcements is my favorite.

Out of all the stores in our area, Acme Mahwah has the best Produce Department of all; From Variety, Quality to Pricing.And you will always find someone in that Department that is in vision and always ready to help you.All of these qualities, at the same time, are a result of a comprehensive, dedicated team, from top to bottom.My daughter and I Thank you Acme Produce Team.

Deceptive advertising at Mahwah NJ store. Coke advertised "buy 2, get 2 free". But I was charged full price. Service desk said advertisement wasn't applicable to 2 litre bottle. But the 2 litre bottles were next to advertisement sign. Service person wouldn't help me at all. They can't afford to lose loyal customers.

Not very friendly in the morning and most the time not open on time either. Some older gentlemen (customer) always open the doors because rarely open on time.

Fabulous vegetable and fruit selection. Store is always clean and will organized. Love how many sale items they have throughout the week. This store isn't as busy as the Ramsey ShopRite or Uncle Giuseppe's. Very convenient to have a pharmacy there too.

My go to grocery store. The items are consistent and always in the same place, the employees are nice and the lines usually don’t take long unless it’s rush hour. I really like the new addition of the card-only self checkout. It makes things run much smoother.

So clean, friendly staff, absolutely love the ACME app and the personalized just for u coupons. wonderful savings! Amazing atmosphere, there's even a Starbucks inside by the main entrance so you can grab a nice iced coffee while shopping or you can sit and have a snack at one of the tables before grocery shopping. The food is always fresh and delicious. Very easy to find what your looking for and they have an amazing selection, always adding more. They can be a little pricey sometimes but I think it's worth every penny. Friendly courteous helpful staff. Hands down my favorite grocery store ever!!!

I was able to finally find gumbo file spice at the store. The store was really clean and the vegetables were super fresh. I will be going back again to this store in the near future even though it isn't that close to my home.

The employees seem very nice and helpful however we saw an item online that said in stock -we called to confirm as we were traveling 35 minutes. We were told there were at least 2 of the items. But in fact there were none. Definitely a waste of time and money/gas

Well stocked Acme I usually go to Shoprite for my grocery shopping but decided to try out this location. Had many of the same things with good prices. Will definitely consider for next time.

This store is ok its not my first choice I do agree produce is pricier to me and this stote seems a bit pricey condiments sauces etc. I will say the staff as usually helpful and nice though.

Acme has fresh and well-priced fruits and vegetables. They have an extensive array of ice creams to choose from as well. They had new, plant-based items in their "dairy" section.I will definitely head back to Acme.

It's improved over the years. Staff is friendly, the selection has increased, always clean, and very rarely crowded. The meat quality is not the best, though.
