Wow !! First time giving my 120 lb rottie a bath all by myself. I went to Pet Valu on a Saturday worried it would be crowded but even with all the people shopping around the staff was overly helpful and friendly. The staff member Jackie helped me with Remy the entire time and I could not be more thankful. She offered treats to keep him focused. She brought ample amount of towels and was seriously just an amazing help. For $10.16 Remy had an amazing bath and amazing service. We will definitely be going back here for another bath soon! Thank you all for being so helpful ! It’s much appreciated.

I stopped in to quickly look for vitamins for my ferret. After not finding what I was looking for I started to leave the store. Cassie stopped me and asked if I needed any help. Although they didn't carry the product I was looking for she happily helped me find an alternative that was not only cheap but on sale for cheaper! Some of the best customer service I've experienced!

What used to be a great place to get my dog groomed turned ugly one day. Not sure if management and groomer were having a bad day because they scheduled too many appointments and then couldn't accommodate but so rude and inconsiderate. Not returning. Sorry so sad because the grooomer was really great.

Pet Valu is well above the other chain stores - Pet Nosh, PetSmart, and Petco - when it comes to higher end food and pet products of all kinds. The prices are reasonable enough and the staff is helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

Pet valu is a great place to go shopping! They have a dog washing station that is super cheap to use, and has everything you need, including shampoo and towels. The staff is friendly and helpful, shelves are always stocked with goodies and food. Free parking too. This store is a must visit if in the area!!!!!!

Great place! Love it always take my dogs there and wash them myself. they have all the equipment, towels, and products. I definately recommend this spot! And thank you for the staff very helpful.

Always a friendly welcome, great place, great value. Enjoy coming here when my dog needs anything. Owner is super friendly, very knowledgeable and is always there to help. This will always be my pet store of choice.

Generally I shop at pet value in Clifton New Jersey... But I decided to try the one closer to my home in Lyndhurst New Jersey. I went in and two employees a man and a woman we're talking. The man asked if I needed help. I told him I was looking for an outfit for my dog for his birthday. The woman just laughed like I was crazy for wanting an outfit for my dog. The guy was somewhat helpful telling me I can look in the clearance bins in the back corner of the store.Why an employee would laugh at a customer who is buying an outfit for their dog when it is something that you sell as a company is beyond me. I found it very offputting. I will continue to shop at the Clifton location people there have always been very friendly and very happy to help and they're clearly pet lovers. I will not ever shop at the Lyndhurst location again.

I needed to get a harness for my dog and decided to go in here since I was at the shopping center when I was approached by an uneducated and rude employee demanding that my one year old wear a mask when it not recommended that children under two wear masks. Not even airlines require children under two to wear masks. Hospitals have signs saying children under two should not wear masks. I told him I would leave and he just wanted to keep arguing with a pregnant woman and my child. Disgusting treatment, will never return. They are MUCH nicer, well mannered and educated at PetSmart. Would rather drive the extra minutes to go there and be treated with respect.

10 dollars self service dog washing is extremely convenient. Better than wrestling your dog in a bath tub. Lots of food options
