BEST GROOMING SALON!!! My dog Evie has been seeing Vicky since she was a puppy. I will always continue to take her here because of how gentle and loving Vicky is with her. I know that my dog is always in good hands at every visit.They really are all about gentle grooming and that showed at Evies last appointment. She wasn’t feeling well a week prior due to eating something outside and after getting better she needed a haircut. I was nervous bringing her in since she was a bit snippy a few days before, but she was taken care of completely. Not to mention she always looks like a model every time I pick her up. Gentle grooming is the way to go!!! Definitely bring your dogs here if you want them to be in trusted hands. Great prices, kind staff and amazing haircuts. Highly recommend 💖

I am SO pleased with the outcome of my dog's first haircut at Just 4 Paws! After adopting him 1 year ago, my dog had 2 failed grooming appointments prior to this due to his anxiety, defensiveness, and resulting aggressive behavior, which required him to be muzzled and be on sedatives. At most, they had been able to cut down his upper body but not his legs, which he is very sensitive about. Thus, he came in today with lots of matted hair all over his body. Today, the groomers at Just 4 Paws were able to give my dog a full haircut from beard to tail (including his legs! And without a muzzle!) I couldn't be happier! I am so thankful for their patience, understanding, and comforting nature which all led to success. This is proof that they do in fact specialize in dogs with special needs like my boy. I consider them miracle workers :)UPDATE: My dog came back last week for another haircut, this time with much less sedative medication as suggested by them. And he did even better than last time! They were even able to trim his nails which he is notorious at the vet for being dramatic about (lots of whining heard throughout the office). While they trimmed his nails this time, I did not hear a peep from him as I waited feet away at the front desk. Truly amazing! I can tell my dog is trusting them more and more.

VICKY :)!!For three years I’ve been having issues with finding a groomer that can handle my aggressive, unfriendly maltipoo. I was so stressed thinking I’d never find anyone that can groom him without putting him under anesthesia and sedation. After our appointment with VICKY, my thoughts were changed .. she is so great at what she does I am still in shock she was able to groom my baby boy prince without sedation.My dog is EXTREMELY aggressive and bites everyone and every other dog, other groomers have told me that it is impossible to groom him without putting him under sedation.I am so happy with the service and her patience. Vickie is an absolute dream and I’m so grateful that we found this wonderful place! My dog Toby has had a lot of anxiety around getting bathed, haircuts, etc. He cannot be crated as he has harmed himself intensely trying to get out. Thus, we never tried a dog groomer because most use crates once they are done or while waiting for their turn. I was recommended to just4paws for their patience and experience working with dogs who tend to have these kinds of issues / concerns. From the moment I spoke to staff on the phone I knew Toby would be in good hands- I just wasn’t sure how he would react once we got there.I was beyond pleasantly surprised when he went with Vickie in the back and even more surprieed that she was able to get him through an entire appointment and he even seemed calm at pick up.I’ve been cutting Toby’s hair myself since we got him years ago and let me tell you- it’s NOT pretty. And a dog with this beautiful of a coat should have a professional doing his hair (not his mom with absolutely no experience).Thank you to Vickie and the staff at just4paws. You’ve not only given me such relief and happiness knowing he will be able to continue getting groomed from now on, but you’ve saved Toby years of having a baboon’s butt form my awful haircuts 😂💙🙏🏼Highly recommend this place!

I am extremely grateful for Erica! My Maltipoo Lila has always been very difficult to groom and no one has ever been able to groom her face. We came here for the first time today and I am so happy with the results and so is Lila! Erica was the first person to be able to fully groom Lila! Thank you so so so much! Took my little chihuahua mix here for the first time to get his nails trimmed, he is usually a little aggressive when it comes to strangers touching him bcus of his past, he’s a rescue. But I was so surprised that he wasn’t aggressive at all with Vicky. She was so loving and gentle with him. I have been told by other groomers and also the vet that he’s not friendly and tends to bite when being touched. He also barks non stop and cries but not with Vicky. She did a really good job. I already made my next appointment. Thanks Vicky for being so patient and gentle with my fur baby. 😊🐾🐕‍ 🐶

I highly recommend going to Just 4 Paws! Vicky always takes care of my fur baby Sabie. Sabie is very anxious and not always friendly but he is so good when he goes to Just 4 Paws. It is very calm and friendly the moment you walk in! Vicky always does a great job grooming Sabie and he always comes out looking so handsome. Thank you so much for taking care of my fur baby.

$150 to have the grooming rushed to the point where they cut the tip of her tail off & cut her privates. Knowing that it was rushed, i wonder if that is why they said they needed to bald her. I attached a picture of her tail, she is very uncomfortable and can’t relax her tail.

The staff here are the absolute best. I bought my pup here to be groomed and they were so welcoming and gentle with him. They called me 15 mins before he was ready and when I arrived one of the workers was snuggling up with him and you could tell he was LOVING it. Loved the haircut and the treatment, would definitely recommend!

I should have posted this before. Back in 2016 my miniature schnauzer was injured for life at JUST 4 PAWS. They held him between two people to be able to pull the hair out of his ears. When I picked him up, Erika said she had to hold him tight to get his hair out. When we got home, seemed normal, but around 10pm Friday night, he was unable to stand up.I rushed him to the emergency room. After some xrays we discovered max had a neck injury because they held him so tight and max was fighting them. Max was unable to stand up for 5 days. Erika accepted it and paid his medical bills. She was able to move on but not max, 4 year later max still limps and can not do all the activities as he used to.

Excellent! We were desperate to get our matted long haired cat in for a lion cut ASAP and Erica delivered. She had a last minute cancellation and was able to get us scheduled right away. Phew! We are so happy we found them, and our cat, who in past has come back from groomers seeming traumatized, didn't seem to mind her grooming at all. Erica has the magic touch!

The staff at Just 4 Paws is wonderful. Their work is quality, and my senior pup is always super happy there. They use great products, and their pricing is even better. They don't cage dry, which is awesome! My pup has anxiety, and as he gets older his hips get weaker, but the staff always takes super good care of him. I trust Just 4 Paws with my dogs life, and happiness.

Excellent, professional grooming. Every hair in place! Very busy. Many groomers.My fur baby always smelled & looked awesome at pick-up time. A little pricey compared to other places..but I always thought it was worth it, you get what you pay for..I have 2 fur babies now, & they both go to Just 4 paws very happily.

Just 4 Paws Pet Spa has a dedicated group who always act in your pet's best interest. I've taken my Cocker Spaniel there over several years and never had a complaint. l have the opposite, as so many people commit on how handsome and groomed my best friend is looking. Once when my Buddy went to the vets, the doctor even commented on how wonderful he's groomed. The doc stated, I see so many dogs weekly and I don't comment, but I just have to say, by far this groomer is really good as your dog looks fantastic.

Just 4 Paws took the best care of my dog; he felt right at ease, comfortable and happy. They recommended a specific haircut based on my dog's double coat breed. They listened to my concerns and how I preferred to have my dog's hair trimmed. Couldn't be happier with my dog's haircut. I will be returning for his second haircut soon! A+++

I was a customer for 14 years until I received an unprofessional phone call from the owner. I now take my dog to a groomer in Rutherford. I used to speak highly of this place and referred my friends to Just 4 Paws. I do not recommend this grooming salon.

Excellent experience all around. I adopted Daisy a couple of months ago and she's still timid and getting used to her new life. Erica gained Daisy's trust within minutes of us walking in. She took the time to answer all of my questions about taking care of Daisy's regular home grooming and gave me some great advice. Daisy was totally relaxed and went right to one of the groomers. They did a fantastic job grooming her. She looked like a different dog when I picked her up and she gets lots and lots of pets from people because her coat is so soft. The attention to detail is impressive...from the hair on the bottom of the paws, to the ears...she looked great from head to tail.The price is a little higher than other local places; however, I think it's worth the few extra dollars for the attention given to each dog.

We had a wonderful experience getting both of our Shih tzus groomed at this salon by Rose. The booking process was very easy and efficient, we received an email and text confirmation which we appreciate! When we arrived, the location was clean and smelt really nice with calming in scents. Rose greeted us and was so sweet we immediately felt comfortable leaving our two babies under her care. The receptionist called us a soon as they were about to finish and we could go pick them up right away. We appreciated their professionalism, kind hearts and beautiful work. Thank you so much, Rose and staff, we will see you again in 5 weeks!

I lived in Rutherford for a few years and had lots of trouble finding a good groomer until I found Just 4 Paws. The very first time I brought my, now 13 year old, Shih Tzu there I was very impressed. They gave her an oatmeal bath, gave an impeccable cut and let her run around on the floor for a while so she didn't have to sit in the crate the whole time. They were done in about 2 hrs. Unfortunately I moved about 45 minutes away and found a decent groomer around here but they don't get even close to Just 4 Paws. In fact, I am willing to drive the 45 minutes (1.5 hrs round trip) just so she can go there again.

I took my maltese puppy Gatsby in few weeks ago and had the BEST experience. Gatsby is a bit temperamental and he really acts up around strangers, but almost instantly he behaved around the staff. We knew they could be trusted right away. He's also really difficult to groom at home so we were worried that he would give the staff problems, but when I got there they said there were no problems. I was really pleasantly surprised and for as long as I'm living in NJ, I'll definitely take my dog here. My whole family was very pleasant! And he looked absolutely ADORABLE after.

I am updating this review to say I have been back to just 4 paws many times since my last review and The wonderful service and caring for my dogs (as well as me)has not changed . Cleo and Gizmo walk into the shop easily, no pulling back or unwillingness to go in, which speaks to the care they receive at 4 paws. I am so happy to have my dogs in the care of such great gromers and have them looking clean and neat and smelling good. Again, I highly recommend this business if you are looking for loving professional care for your pets.Normally I take my 60 pound shepherd and my 10 pound yorkie to Petsmart, I was unhappy with the cuts they received on our last two visits so I decided to try Just 4 Paws in Lyndhurst because the salon had gotten great reviews from other pet owners. When we arrived the staff was very friendly, they took the time to come over and get down to the level of the dogs to say hello and pet them to make the pets (and myself) more comfortable. They looked over cleo, our shepherd and asked about what I wanted in a haircut. I told them to cut them the way they thought it should be done for the shepherd and I asked for a puppy cut with a short face for my yorkie, gizmo, both dogs looked like they really needed a groom. I dropped them at 8:30am and they were ready by 11:00am. A nice suprise.When I arrived the shop was buzzing and all the cages were full, it seems I am not the only one who found this special place for pets. My dogs have never looked as groomed and clean as they do today. As it turns out my shepherd had a lot of undercoat that needed to be removed (an issue not addressed at the other place) She was just glowing when I picked her up. Her cut was perfect, and a lot of the undercoat gone, my yorkie was cut just a I imagined when I said a puppy cut, short with a close cut face. I couldn't have been more pleased. The staff offered to help me out to the car with the two of them, a very nice offering as they could see the shepherd was pulling to get outside. I will definately be coming back to Just 4 paws for our future grooms. They are courteous, friendly and customer focused (me and my dogs) It was a pleasure to deal with their business.

As I lost hope in neighboring areas in North Jersey to find reliable dog groomers, I googled "best dog groomer" & Just 4 Paws came up. I gave them a call early on a Thursday morning & they were immediately able to accomodate me last minute & booked my bichon frise/havanese first thing 930am that very same day. Very courteous, friendly, kind & patient, they explained everything needed & what was to be done before we dropped him off. Arrived there 930am Thursday morning & the staff's customer service couldn't be any better. Salon was clean just like the website says. Then we picked up our baby mid-afternoon & I must say they do the BEST DOG GROOMING SERVICE EVER IN NORTH JERSEY - just how we wanted. PERFECT. Our baby Bichu was a very clean & well groomed ball of fluff. We can't praise this salon enough. We highly recommend this place & will definitely be coming back in a couple weeks. My dog was cut at this place and employees who works there tried to hide and lied about an accident. When I'm picking my dog after procedure, I always ask, how was she?- and answer which Im getting "oh , she's perfect"!! Yeah, right but not this time when I'm coming home and blood is everywhere, because groomer cut my dog nail deep. I'm a dog owner, and I should know what's going on with my family member especially when Im asking about it. Absolutely unprofessional place, lacking knowledge about dog grooming, specially with English cocker spaniel breed , they shave my dog like a poodle, my dog butt after grooming looked like monkey butt, what's a shame!!Don't bring your family member there , this is not a place where you can trust , everything about money, there's no morals and understanding.

The staff at Just 4 Paws is top notch! I take my labrador there and he looks awesome every time he comes back! They are very gentle with the animals they care for and their prices are very fair. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!
