I got the whole wheat everything bagel with egg/cheese/SPK and it was good! The bagel was a tiny bit tough but still good. The place itself is more setup as a to-go restaurant, I’d say, so don’t bring a big group here.

Great local bagel place. I ordered a Taylor ham, egg and cheese on an egg bagel and it was fantastic and made fresh to order. After seeing the full menu Pancakes, eggs, etc.) I also had to order a side of breakfast potatoes which were really good. The owner seems to be a really great guy as well.

It was my first time stopping.The gentleman behind the counter was so friendly and helpful.I'm so glad I stopped because the bagels are amazing. I'll definitely stop again next time I'm in the area.

Bagels are very crusty but soft inside. I’d rather firm and chewy. Nice selection of flavors. Watch if you pay cash that you get correct change.

I would say I have pretty high standards forBagels, but long valley bagel is definitely top of the list. Slight crunch on the outside, and super soft on the inside. Owner is friendly and I wouldHighly recommend.

Food and service is top-notch. Owner is a great guy and always makes the customer happy. Bagels are on point. My favorite is the specialty cream cheese. The flavors are always delicious!

I stop in here every morning on my way back from work. Whether I’m buying a drink or a sandwich I’m treated like I’m the most important customer in there. That’s how they are with every customer. Bagels are good obviously not going to be New York quality because the water is different out here but they’ll still good! Honestly anybody who has something bad to say are probably just racist townies because the town is very small, very white, and very racist against minority families in town.

My first visit there chatted with owner extremely nice guy. Been stopping there since on way to work. Guy almost made me late for work cos I had such a good time talking with him I didn't want to leave right away. Now I leave earlier to give me time to do my thing.Since I've written this review I don't travel this way for work every day. It has made such an impression on me with the friendly neighborhood atmosphere that I go out of my way whenever I want some breakfast sammiches on the weekend. The owner is good people's.

We loveeeee Long Valley Bagel. They are a wonderful family run store. My kiddos love going there. The family always engages my kids and makes them feel special. Also, every time we visit the kids get spoiled and given a mini bagel. That is the highlight of their morning.💜💜

The bagel I got was very thin, dry, and comparable to the bagels you get at an out of state college dining hall. The store is also very dirty with flies landing on all the bagels sitting out in the open. If you ever get a bagel from here make sure it's well toasted to kill the germs. Also the place reminds me of a day care with the owners children running around.

First visit this morning, bagels are so-so and double check your bill before paying.Paid $18 for: egg salad w/ tomato on a bagel, double egg with bacon, tomato and cheddar on a bagel, and a bagel with cream cheese. Based on their menu/prices ($5.95, $4.25+0.50, and $2.40) it should’ve been $13-14ish… By the time I realized $18 was wrong I had already paid on my CC. I tried a couple times to get the guy to explain the charges, but I didn’t have time to argue $5.

I grew up in LVand left before LV Bagel was established. Fortunately for me I still have family in the valley so I always make a point of stopping in to LV Bagel when I visit. Sometimes you might have to wait but let me tell you, it is worth it! Bagels are great!! Handmade, hard “crisp” outside with a dense, chewy inside but easily consumed!!! Taylor ham egg and cheese on a bagel - a NJ masterpiece, like a Philly Cheese is to Philly.There is a large variety of bagels and several types of fresh homemade cream cheese. I’ve taken bagels and cream cheese back to NC with me ... slice and freeze and the bagels will last for a long time - no, not the same, but still much better than grocery store bought - and the cream cheese has lasted for almost a week! The other food is good too but I am partial to the bagel!!The owner is very nice and his family often is there to help out. This is a great family owned local business. LV bagel is a wonderful local gem, hidden to the outside world, so if you’re in the area, stop in and enjoy!!

Good selection of bagels. I haven't tried other items on the menu. I'd like more everything on my everything bagel, my only issue here. An issue at other bagel establishments too.

Bagels didn't really taste like bagels. They were more like rolls. Place needs a good cleaning. The people were very nice

Terrible stale Bagels! The prices change every time I go in, on the same items. I don't recommend it!

I don't know how this place stays in business. I've gone in twice now and each time the staff/owners make me think that I am the one inconveniencing them for trying to buy a bagel and coffee. Agreeing with another reviewer, staff was borderline hostile and from what I could see up front the place was anything but clean (I wouldn't want to see how the back of the store looked).
