After living in Long Branch for short period of time, I needed a new groomer to take my senior Yorkie with several health issues to. I called two places that both came highly recommended and chose to go with Vanity Fur. From the minute I called for the appointment, Alex was extremely patient listening to my fur baby Dolce’s health concerns . She has an older Westie Missy that she rescued herself. She scheduled a expeditious appointment within a few days of the call and took Dolce as the first appointment in the morning since he is a senior. I walked in, the place was immaculate. Alex came out to meet me with her assistant Amber. They greeted Dolce and me and treated him with such love. I knew he was in the right place. Within an hour and a half, I received a text stating I could come pick up Dolce. He looked adorable and was giving Alex kisses as she was handing him back to me. I couldn’t be more grateful to Alex and the staff dealing with an obsessed dog mom as delicate as they did, I would highly recommend bringing your fur baby to Alex at Vanity Fur. You will not be disappointed!

I’ve tried several groomers in the past. The groomers here are phenomenal, friendly so sweet and very caring towards my furbabies. Their prices are great. Especially for perfect service.

We travel far just to get our pup groomed here. They love her and she loves them. They are gentle, fairly priced, and always groom her beautifully. I will never take my dog to another groomer in the state.

the absolute best!! My dog is aggressive towards strangers and Alex & staff is so sweet to him and really took the time to make him comfortable and able to be groomed without being afraid!! We love it at vanity fur!

I have been getting two of my dogs and one of my mom’s groomed by Alex for over seven years now. When Alex moved to Vanity Fur we followed her and couldn’t be happier with the service we receive. I have a German Shepard who’s coat is very important and is also very anxious. Alex always takes good care of him and I’m always so happy when he comes home. My other dog, Scout, is a husky mix and we all know how dramatic huskies can be. When he gets his nails cut he’s very vocal. The first time I brought Scout, Alex came out multiple times to assure me he wasn’t being hurt and he was just singing the songs of his people very loudly. I couldn’t recommend another groomer in the Long Branch Area more than Vanity Fur.

Alex and staff are great! They always take care of my Australian Shepherd, Finny. She recently just did his summer haircut and he looks great! I take him every 4-6 weeks and I have always been treated with a welcoming smile and professionalism!

Alex is amazing!!! She really gets to know the dogs and their personalities. My dog Chewy doesn't let anyone touch him, but when we go inside she just swoops him up. It's like she figured him out, and he knows she is his friend. And he always comes out smelling great and looking amazing! My dog trusts her, and I trust her. She must be a dog whisperer!

7-11-20 I called Alex a few times to firm up taking 2 of our three dogs to her as they have anxiety over their nails being trimmed and together, my husband and I can't do it. They have little twiggy legs, smooth hair and are like Houdini's. EACH time I called, Alex was nothing but sweet, professional and I felt like she was going to be a great match for our 2 lil' babies; the 3rd baby I am able to do. She was fast enough and was loving to our dogs. It was smooth, calm and she's the bomb! I HIGHLY recommend her! :)

My dog got aBad ear infection after we went here he must have gotten water in his ear from the bath first time that ever happened from a groomer 🙁we had to go to the vet and get medicine for his ears so the grooming visit ended up costing me quadruple 😔just moved to the area so we thought we would try them out .haircut part was fine.
