The women, Sandra, at Customer Service was such a blessing today! I'm visiting from out of state and she was so kind and helpful and had such a positive energy! I was there about an hour ago and while I was buying lottery tickets, I mentioned of something I wasn't able to find and she was able to pinpoint its location and direct me there. She made shopping there today so stress-free and helped me get everything I needed. Will definitely seek her help if needed again!

They desperately need a better butcher section & more cuts of beef & pork. They need a normal butcher counter.S&S has just gone to hell. They don’t cater to their regular customers anymore. So many of the people who shop there now are obnoxious & pushy. I go to Fine Fare now.

Wow the woman who works in the bakery (of all things) is one of the nastiest rudest women I have ever encountered in my life. Really pathetic to attack a customer trying to get her kid some cupcakes for her birthday. My goodness gracious whoever is in charge of hiring (and firing) needs to deal with this angry woman asap.

I feel like there’s no positive thing about this store, everything is bad - the products are always very disorganized and/or about to expire. The associates very unfriendly. The promotions are scam - you’re always charged the full price when you’re about to pay, this just happened to me for the third time. Be aware!!!The WORST store in Long Branch! Won’t ever go back again

It it was not for the fact that I know a few people that work here I wouldn't come in. I have had problems with a cashier, only one of the cashier's named Stephen had ever showed me any respectful. Most of the employees don't care if you come back. They do however carry a few items that I can't find anywhere else that I like but if it was not for that I would no shop here.

The attitudes of these store associates are disgusting. Everyone here doesn't smile or have any friendly customer service attitude at all. I never came back here before to return something, but tonight I did. I didn't realize that my bag of frozen fruit was open and I went to the desk and the woman with dark hair said "Just get another one" when I got another bag, the young guy at the register was on his phone and disregarded me initially and handed him my receipt in which he did not honor. I was not refunded back the $9.59 on the card that I originally paid with, I had to pay $9.59 all over again which I believe is ridiculous and not good customer service. All I wanted to do was exchange it! I am a loyal customer here- I come here all the time and I never quite experienced this here to this degree.I hope someone from higher up gets back to me because I am not calling anyone over there tonight- nobody positive or professional is working there.The best Stop N Shop is Middletown and although it's a distance, I think I am going to go there instead. The service is much better and the store is neater, cleaner and brighter.

My go to store. Never a long line. Shelves are away fully stocked. The bakery good are always fresh and delicious, Customers service is always present, and staff is very friendly.

Great Natural/Organic section in store. You don't have to run around the whole store to get these items. I love shopping here because of the ease for that.

Love having the store nearby. If Tina, (I think that's her name, blond women) the manager wasn't there making sure to keep lines short, even opening a register herself to keep lines short, I doubt I would shop here so often! She's a huge asset to the store. I also wish produce was better, it never was good after Foodtown left! Prices are higher than Shoprite, but for me the convenience is worth it.

This supermarket has WESTER UNION service…. but there is an employee with long black hair who IS RUDE, she makes an ugly face when I go for the wester service !!I don't understand if you don't like doing the western service, look for another job and what's worse SHE IS A PERSON WHO DISCRIMINATES LATINOS!!I have had several problems with it! unfortunately ..it is the only western that is close to me. BAD EMPLOYEE

Love buy the fresh pasta from Semolina! A local gem that supplies Stop & Shop. It’s a fast and easy to make . In 3 minutes you have restaurant quality pasta on your table . Enjoy all kinds such as linguine, gemelli , or classic spaghetti. The house home made by Stop &Shopvodka sauce is also a family favorite.

Not a very large selection relative to much larger of their stores or other big name stores. However, this store serves it's local customers well. I love that they sell boars head cold cuts. Would have given 5 stars if had more bakery products. This department absolutely, positively and definitely needs to upgrade.

Decent customer service. Had a couple incidents with an older man employee going so far as to grab my hand to stop me from locking up my bike because I was “locking it the wrong way”, I spoke to the customer service and they did speak to him but every time I see him he is now rude. He even took a picture of me one time. Food is great though, a little expensive but then again so is everything in this economy. If they fired that employee for his actions it’d be a 4-5 star but these actions being allowed by employees towards customers (physically grabbing a customers hand and making rude comments on every encounter after being reprimanded by customer service for it, as well as taking a picture of a customer), make the experience there unpleasant, while the food is great.

They need to get rid of the brunette cashier. she has the personality of a wet paper towel. Didn’t speak a single word to me the entire transaction; not a hello, do you need a bag, your total is, do you have a SS card.. nothing. Don’t get a job working with people if you can’t even speak to them lol.

This store is very well run despite its tight layout. It’s a hidden convenience right here in Long Branch.The staff is very well trained and helpful.Perhaps the person at the customer service desk today (6/9/20) just before 5 PM was having a bad day, but she certainly does not have the temperament for greeting customers and solving problems. Training might benefit her.But her attitude is unusual among associates at this store so we will look forward to coming back hopeful without any issues that put us in her sights.

This grocery store has a large selection of kosher food, and has an extensive kosher takeout section under rabbinical (jshor) supervision.Customer service is quite good. I have rarely had to wait more than a few minutes to check out. There is a large parking lot. The store is centrally located in Long Branch.

9/11/22… pulled in and was walking to the doors at 8:53 to grab 2 quick items. Store hours close at 9pm. At 8:53 the announcement that the store was closed blared just as I was getting to the doors they were locked. 9pm is 9pm, not 8:53! This location just gets worse and worse.

i love this place, i go almost everyday. but i am not happy with these new hours at all, it is definitely messing with my normal routine and i am extremely unhappy. i had to run all the way to Wegman's at 1130 after coming to stop and shop and being locked out because of new hours... for everyone's information Wegman's is still open until midnight

Today I visited the West End location. The gentlemen in the aisles from the stocking team went above and beyond to help me out looking for an item. 5 star service. But the lone cashier on duty ( 3/21/19 7am) was not friendly and snippy regarding the frequent shopper card. The same negative effort used on her part could have went to encouraging me to sign up for a new card.

As Stop-Shops go this one is not the best or the worst. I found what I was looking for and one employee was very helpful, although he talked about the Yankees way too much. Their selection is pretty good and somewhat tailored for the area. Do not go on Fridays as part of the community they serve shops heavily there on that day and the lines are long. Otherwise it's ok if your location choice is limited.

I enjoy the variety of items available at this store, especially their Kosher options. The prices are also generally fair, with frequent opportunities for deals like sales or coupons. Due to current health events, you are discouraged from bringing reusable bags, however.

I love that I can get in and out of here quickly as the store is on the small side. They pack a lot into a small space and it is always clean. But the selection can sometimes be limited and the check out people can be a little stern.

They do NOT enforce state mandated Mask requirements. The summer crowd is confrontational with employees when asked to put their mask on. At least one of the cashier pushes her own agenda regarding masks, doesn't request customers to pull mask up...and when I mentioned the people in front of me with masks ALL the way down ...she said "what's the problem, do you have any underlying health issues?" I replied "I don't know, so don't want to take any risks" she said "Come on...you would know...I know I don't have any" Thanks Cashier Karen! this happened 07/05/2020
