I have taken my two samoyeds twice here for grooming. My first experience was different compare to the second time, where the groomer (Kelly) came out and spoke to us and inquired what we wanted done. The second time, however was beyond heartbreaking. When I dropped my dogs off at 9am on January 6, my husband and I handed the leases to two women and they started to lead them into the back room, which they resisted to follow. I watched as one of my dog was hitting his head against a stand near the register while she tried to pull him into the back room, which at this point my husband stepped in and lead him the whole way in. When I picked them up, they were nice and groomed. I didn’t noticed that they had shaved one of my samoyed belly/private area to the skin where you can see his purple spotted stomach. From the time we got home to all night long, every two seconds he would lick around his private area to relief the irritation that shaving must have caused.Any establishments that I am entrusting my pets at, I expect my pets to be returned irritation and pain free. Which was not in this case.

Chompy loves it here! They do such a nice job grooming him at the attached pet grooming spa. The market has so many fun toys and chews, the staff is so kind and knowledgeable. When chompy was having some tummy issues and dental issues, they gave me some great recommendations.

Let’s just say Bhazi found his favorite store ! I love how the store is family ran and they are just all so pleasant and friendly. They helped me choose the right products for my fur baby and are very knowledgeable about every single item in the store. They have a variety of different brands from decent to top shelf brands for dogs and cats. The store has freshly baked treats on the counter for purchase that look good enough to eat for yourself. I said look please don’t eat it lol I loved how everything is so cute and detailed even to the point where his donut was sealed with a white dog sticker. I loved how the store has a grooming station. Bhazi looked and smelled fresh to death I must say after his appointment. The store also offers wash stations you can rent if you want to wash your fur baby yourself. I definitely recommend this store to dog and cat owners. You won’t be disappointed.I absolutely love that the store has many functions during the weekend that help non profit organizations such as pictures with the Easter bunny or with with Santa. They also have adoption events which is wonderful. They go above and beyond to help which I totally love and support.

Petcare Market is my favorite store ever! The staff is so friendly and helpful — everyone I’ve consulted has been extremely knowledgeable about all of their products and the benefits of each. Our Vizsla has sensitive skin at certain times of year and one of the associates was able to share several options for a new natural food and supplements for her. She also gave us a couple of samples to try. We ended up really liking the Annmaet foods and her coat is looking great. Our Penny is loving her new toys and behaves nicely in their self-wash tubs! Check out their wash club for a discount after every 6 washes! Look at our little cutie! This is a family run business and we shop local to support our community! Thank you Petcare Market!

There is such a need for a shop like this in Bergen County! You can tell the owners took great care to provide quality pet foods, treats, and supplies that are way better for your pets than what you would find in generic big box stores. The space is beautiful and family owned, and there's a grooming shop as well! I'm all about eco friendly, small batch, and sustainable products and that's exactly what you'll find here. I feel good shopping here for my dogs and they love to visit as well!

Love this pet shop! They always have what I need and even clipped my dogs nails during a shopping trip since they had time. Lots of different toys, bones and food to choose from. Highly recommend.

I have been bringing my 3 boys to get groomed at “The Grooming Shoppe” for a few years now, my friends and family also use them - so when I heard they were opening a pet market I was ecstatic! I checked out “The Petcare Market” today and was thrilled to find a HUGE selection of very healthy pet products, from companies that truly care about your pets AND are sustainably sourced (I will only be shopping here for my dogs’ treats and toys from now on!!). The market was exceptionally clean and well organized, the prices were extremely reasonable for the quality and quantity of the items we purchased, Becca answered all of my questions and made my experience here fantastic! I would not hesitate to recommend them to ANY and ALL pet parents, a one stop shop for all your pets’ needs and I simply cannot say enough great things about them!!

I love this pet store, and so does my Jagger. No one else that I trust to provide me with the very best nutrition and snacks for my best friend. Jagger has also been groomed here since he came home, and we have always loved the price and quality of their service. If interested they also have a self-service, so bring your dog and they will provide you with everything you need t wash your pet. If you are someone who pampers your pets, then stop shopping at Petco and Chewy, and come find what you need at Petcare Market.

I stopped in today because a friend recommended the market. They had a great selection of dog treats that you don’t normally find other stores including various fish, lamb, beef, chicken as well as other products. I gave my husky a salmon bite that I bought from The shop and he loved it. The staff, I believe her name was Becca, was super friendly and knowledgeable and helpful. I would definitely recommend take your market to any dog or cat owner.

Our cat is older and very picky with her food choices. She was having digestion issues and we were able to find several foods she loved (and that are good for her) at the Petcare Market! She also loves all the toys we get here! Service is wonderful and the shop itself is so clean and cute. I’d definitely recommend it to any pet owner as it’s clear they are extremely knowledgeable about their products and services.

Absolutely love this place and so glad that I found it. Personally I buy Open Farm and they are the only place around the area that sells it. The owner and workers are so sweet and kind, I had to returned 2 things for my own mistake and they were so helpful with it. They sell a lot of natural chews and bones which my dog absolutely loves. Definitely have a life long customer here.

I only have wonderful things to say about this store and the grooming shoppe. I was confused about dog food brands and they pointed me in the right direction and gave me so much information about so many wonderful brands and products I had no idea about for pets.The staff there is so nice and is always willing to help. The grooming did such a great with my friends dog that I can’t wait until I can get my dog groomed there.You can tell the owners care about products and the service they put out. I will definitely be coming back there.

I stumbled upon this place about 2 years ago (when they were at their old spot) and am so happy that I did. Now they have a huge new store/grooming salon right in Lodi and its amazing! The owners are always super friendly! The groomers always listen to my request and often deal with my yorkie who I am sure gives them a hard time. I feel like I can truly trust my dog when i leave him at The Petcare Market... and thats all that really matters right? 120% would recommend this business for anyone looking for their regular pet groomer!

I love this store!! It is the only place I purchase any pet food/supplies. We have an older kitty who suffers from allergies and Becca took her time to look up ingredients, contact manufacturers and teach us how to look up calorie counts etc. to make sure we selected the best food for our girl.They only stock brands that are ethical and we learned so much in just one visit. They also have very unique treats for kitty like dried turkey hearts! Our first visit was over a year ago and we haven’t looked back.Not to mention the fact that it is a family owned, small local business. I love supporting local shops. And they have adoption events!! They really care about animals here and it shows.

I get everything I need from The Petcare Market for my lovely monster of a cat. Food, litter, toys, catnip, supplements, CBD, cleaning supplies, bowls.... The list goes on and on! My cat is super picky and the variety of offerings for snacks and wet foods really let me explore some options to get her excited to eat instead of leaving the bowl untouched.I also bring my parent's senior yellow lab to get bathed at the Grooming Shoppe. As a dog that has typically hated getting wet and typically struggles around other dogs, this places seems to have completely changed her mindset! She gets the wiggles every time we arrive at the store and can't wait to get in the door.The people are lovely and knowledgeable of the products they have in their store. They also have monthly adoption events for dogs hosting the American Humane Society in Newark to help find homes for dogs that desperately need them.Could not recommend a place more for people who care about their pets.

Absolutely love this small business in Lodi. I appreciate the variety of healthy treats available for my dogs. They have a great washing station which they supply with great smelling dog shampoo and conditioner. towels and an apron. Cute lil shop :)

I utilized their self groom service. It's really hard to find places that allow you to wash cats or groomers that take cats. They provided everything you needed, and my foster was able to smell less like street garbage and actually look like he had white fur. The staff was absolutely pleasant and knowledgeable, and the store was very well maintained and clean.

Our 9 year old female cat has very specific needs and the staff has consistently gone above and beyond to get the necessary information from the companies they offer products from. We had detailed questions about the nutritional value of some of their products and they were able to get back to us only 1 day later with detailed information from the 3 companies we asked about. This tells me that not only does the staff do a thorough job providing their clients with what they need, but the companies they deal with care just as much and are willing to be transparent. But that's what you get when you deal with companies that use top-tier ingredients and are environmentally conscious with their production process. All in all, this place is not like any other pet store I have ever shopped at.Seriously, this the only place I will ever buy pet food from again. They offer grooming services, as well as an area to wash and groom your pet on your own if you prefer.Edit: 4/24/22They are having a pet adoption event! It's wonderful to see a family run business caring for the community's pets in so many ways.
