Took my dog here after reading reviews and sadly twice I was very disappointed. I showed photo of what I was looking for. Mind you, it’s a cleaned up version of how she looked going in. I even asked if they wanted a copy of photo and was told it’s not needed.Worst part about this was I was being helped by the owner. We specifically spoke about what happened at prior visit and was assured my dog was in good hands with her.Was not offered a sorry, nothing.I’d rather drive further to get better service. Why tell a groomer what you want if they will cut your dog anyway they please?Stay away from this place. I gave it a second try after a bad cut and this time around was worse.Read the reviews!!! This place is terrible.

Leah loves this place. She gets so happy to go! She knows that it’s time to get dolled up when we arrive there. I have only good things to say. The appointments are easy to make. They are on time and the take great care of your family pet! Leah loves to come home with her bows!

This was my first time taking my dog to a new groomer and let me just say, it was 100% worth it. They attended her super nicely and the wait wasn’t that long compared to other groomers. Once I picked her up I could not stop smiling. She looked so cute and amazing! The little bow topped it off for me. The groomers were also very friendly and nice. 10/10, this is the place I will always take my dog to!!

Had a very good experience my first time taking my little poodle. They did a great job not entirely shaving her even though she had knots and she actually appeared pretty relaxed after I picked her up! Will be bringing her here again, so far I’m impressed with their service !

While our first time was a good experience, the second was not, which was last week. When I had picked up my dog, the cut wasn't exactly what I had asked for, so I went back inside to ask for a redo. They were accepting of my ask, but when I was handing off my dog to them, I noticed red marks on his private area. The groomer said they were razor burns because she used a new blade. While I understand this can happen, there was absolutely no apology or sympathy from the owner. Instead, his response was that because the groomer didn't notify him, he didn't know about it and couldn't tell me upon pick up. He said he'll talk to the groomer afterwards. The marks were not pretty and were on his private part. As a business owner who is responsible for their employees, isn't the first thing to do is apologize? Maybe razor burns can be common, but they are still unpleasant. The groomer was kind and made sure I left happy with the redo, but when I got home, I saw how unclean and choppy the cut was in some areas, around his jaw and torso. And nails uncut! I called to check if the nail cutting was included, and they said yes. They asked if I wanted to bring in my dog again, but no way I was going back. While they were sure their groomer did cut the nails, the nails looked untouched. Even if they did cut them, they were still long to say they got trimmed.

I am extremely anger. They cut my dogs eye and throat last few time I went there. They tried covering it up with the little handkerchief on his neck. They make him stay 4 hours this is why. So they try to hide it. Charging me 120 dollars for my golden doodle I expect better service and honesty.

I called today grooming shopping to make a appointment to give my dog a bath and can you believe what they ask me...They asked me that they can't believe it's just for a bath when aksel hasn't been there for a while and he doesn't needed a haircut. They know that I took him there one time and they butchered him.Then he tells me that he doesn't have anything available That's why I stop taking my dog over there they are unbelievable these people.

I took my rescue dog for the first time, after been referred by Maywood Vet Clinic. Since we live nearby, we decided to make an appointment, just to realize that turn in disappointment.The mother and the daughter were very rude, didn't even replied when we greeted them. Definitely we didn't get a warm reception, they gave us the silent treatment, and they gave us an attitude.They canceled my Yorkie grooming stating that he was too nervous, and they ended up playing Vets, prescribing my dog with Trazodone.My dog is eight years, and he had many grooming over the past. We decided to go to The Grooming Shoppe because of the reasonable price advertised, and we really wanted to take advantage of the 20% coupon for first time customers.Except for the young lady who seems to be a helper, the owner and daughter need some Human Relations Classes, and start embracing diversity, otherwise is just a buying time business!I want to assume that it was a Saturday, the end of the week, and almost the end of the day; and they were tired and exhausted. I brought my husky here to get groomed and he loved it. The Shoppe is very clean and the ambiance is amazing. My dog has a difficult time in most grooming places and he needs a place that caters to him and his sensitive skin allergies. The grooming shop does an amazing job making him feel like he’s home and he loves going there every time. 5 stars, would recommend to everyone!

We love the grooming shoppe! My dogs are attached to each other & they always keep them in the same play pen during each visit. Becca & her family are always so kind & welcoming and it's always great to see them & catch up each month. My dogs love Becca, they run to her every time we walk through the door. We refuse to go anywhere else! My dogs always leave so happy & smelling great.

I have know the owner for a long time. She was wonderful with our Rex ( who passed away a year ago) we know have another dog who does not need to be groomed, but we bring him to get his nails cut. Everyone in there is very personable and caring. Would recommend them to anyone.

After trying many different groomers for my two dogs, and not being completely satisfied I decided to try the grooming shoppe. The shoppe being family owned already gave me confidence that they would be loving and caring for my dogs. After going to the grooming shoppe, I was not disappointed. They took such good care of my dogs and truly treated them like they were apart of their family. The team was nice and friendly and always listened to my needs.I recently, rescued a third dog and was hesitant to get her groomed due to her past. When I told Becca about my concerns she listened and ensured me dog would be fine. She let me stay and watch her get groomed and I can truly say I was very happy how she was treated and how well she was taken care of through the whole process.I definitely recommend this grooming shoppe!

The Grooming Shoppe provides an excellent grooming experience for my pup every time we go! Friendly and informative staff. My dog loves going there and always comes back home perfectly groomed and EXTREMELY happy. I cannot recommend them enough. If you haven't tried them out yet, definitely do so soon.

Had a great first experience today! Our pup doesn't do well with baths or her nails, and they told us an hour and a half and she would be done. We went and ordered food, drove home, and before I could park they called that our girl was done! She smells lovely, is super soft, is super happy, and so are we! 10/10!

I love this shop! It is owned by a mother/daughter duo that have a lot of experience in the business and own 5 dogs collectively between the 2 of them! I have been bringing my pets here since the day they opened and I cannot say enough good things about them! I love that my pets are never put into a cage, but that they have stalls for the dogs who are waiting. I have 2 rescues and the thought of putting a rescue into a crate when I drop them off for a bath is horrifying. The Grooming Shoppe goes above and beyond to make sure that my pets' needs are met. One of my dogs had some pretty horrible mange when I first got her and the Grooming Shoppe gave her a medicated bath every week for over a month. They also are very quick to get the job done so my dogs aren't stuck in their shop all day long. This is a much more personal experience than bringing my dogs to a chain store, which is where I used to get their grooming done.I definitely recommend this shop to ANYONE with a dog who needs some pampering. Their prices are extremely reasonable and they don't just turn customers away just because of the breed they are! (One of my rescues is part pitt!) Give the Grooming Shoppe a chance and you won't be disappointed. Support your local business!!

My 5 months Maltese got 1st haircut at Groom Shoppe yesterday. I was very happy when I picked him up. He got a puppy cut that was soooooo cute. The price was very good too. I love this place and highly recommend to everyone whose dog need grooming services.

Took my two yorkies Lexi & Bella for a grooming today, it was their first time being there. The youngest of my pup is a scaredy cat so I was nervous about leaving her there to get groomed. But they took good care of them and both my puppies came back beautiful. I was glad to hear that they both behaved too 😁

I took my puppy Luna for a bath and haircut and Michelle did an amazing job with her ! I made sure to book ahead of time with her again because she left my dog looking so adorable and amazing ! Definitely bring your dogs here to get a cut and bath .

These people are a gift from the gods! We have an old rescue dog who is the goodest boy in every aspect except when it comes to being groomed. He's extremely difficult to handle. We have had vets refuse to handle him unless under sedation and have spent 1000s trying to get his chronic ear infections fixed to no avail (too old for anasthetic, too feisty to treat manually). He's probably beyond the point of rehabilitation and all we want is to provide him a comfortable life in his senior years. The fact The Grooming Shoppe are able to groom him so so so well even with all the issues he has (skin, ear, temperament) makes him and our family so happy. I really can't say enough about the great work they do here. Most people - even some vets - see a lost cause, but they just see a dog that needs a nice haircut and they give him it no questions asked.

I absolutely love this place! I’ve been searching for about a year now to find a groomer that won’t totally botch my labradoodle’s coat or tell me I have to shave the whole thing down if he happens to have a few knots. They took care of my baby and made him look so cute. I for sure won’t be going anywhere else!!
