I recently adopted a puppy (like two days ago) and I came to the store freaking out when she wouldn't stop itching. I kind of expected that she had gotten fleas from the kennel and had no idea how to help her -- Sabrina was extremely kind, helpful and informative. She was patient with me and listened to all my questions, and gave me some great recommendations! Thank you so very much! I will be absolutely be back. Besides my wonderful experience with customer service, the store itself is very clean and loaded with wonderful products <3 ps- we took her to the vet today and is on the road to feeling better!

The staff is super knowledgeable and friendly. Sometimes there is only one person working and it gets busy, but they do what they can to help the customers the they can with the staffing they have. Occasionally the pet baths have been out of towels, but still totally a great price for a bath and worth the wait opposed to giving our dog a bag in our own shower. It's just such an ideal set up.

I take my dogs here when they are too filthy to shower at home and I love it. The store employees are always genuine and they always have fun events planned for you and your pet- whether it be caracteres, pet meet ups, raffles- you name it. Love this place!

This is great place for all of your pet needs. I find it better than the pet super stores because it is more geared to the higher quality products for dogs and cats. This is one of your find more grain free products. Their selection is great and their pricing is good also overall the great little store for all of your pet needs

The workers are super friendly. Love that they have a self dog washing station. Toy selection could be a little better. Overall worth checking out. Marginally cheaper than PetSmart/Petco, but it's kind of like going to Marshalls. It's cheaper but you're never sure if you'll actually find what you need.

My husband and I recently moved to the area and adopted two cats. We loved coming here and are so heartbroken that they will be closing before the year is out. Wishing every single employee that worked there the absolute best because we were served with a smile, every single visit!

Very small location. The best thing about this place is the wash your own dog grooming stations (there are 2). VIP Petcare is also here periodically, which is a great cheap alternative to vet prices when it comes to vaccinations, etc.

I highly recommend the Pet Valu in Lodi, NJ. The manager Mattie is pleasant and accomadating. On my very first interaction there she stood by the price she had quoted me despite the price having risen by the time the food was delivered. I managed a pet shop for 27 years and know that this kind of ethical decision making encourages the customers to return. I buy all my dog food from that store..

Ever since this place hired Mattie it's been the only pet store I can shop at. She's helpful and kind. And knows her stuff better than anyone would at, say, Petco or one of the big names in the pet industry.

Love this Pet Valu - not only is it close to home and has a good selection. There is not a staff member here that isn’t knowledgeable and passionate about animals. Everyone is so sweet and friendly. Dog bath time at Pet Vu!! Located in Lodi I took my pup timber the king Corso rather large dog and use their bath services $10 includes shampoo, towels and a blow dryer! What a deal!I brought my dog in early as she is not exactly very friendly to other dogs but loves people and letter into the tiled bath area I had to actually step into the bath area it's that big! Timber's a rather large girl she's 95 pounds and wanting nothing to do with water, shampoo and being hooked up. She wanted to bolt , but one of the workers helped me hold her down, talking to Timber very quietly, timber braved the water and I was able to rinse her down and dry her and within 20 minutes, we were done.The staff extremely knowledgeable and young were really really extremely courteous and spoke to me about certain nutritional needs of types of dog food. I definitely recommend this store again the staff was exceptional!

Love being able to give my dog a bath, then she walks around the store and picks out a bone or toy. I get all my things for my dog here, she loves the food and treats!

They have a large supply of food and toys for all types of creatures. They also have a veried inventory of exotic pets ranging from fish to lizards to snakes to skunks. Not much as far as birds though.

Friendly and accommodating - location is convenient as well. One of the few places that carries hairball control Greenies for cats but have to be quick as they sell out quickly.
