Very disappointed in them today. When my mom and dad adopted an older dog, we convinced them to use our vet. We have been using them for many many years when it was just Dr. Dilts there. today that dog who is 14 was suffering terribly and we knew it was his last day. When calling the vet office at 8am we were told there were no appointments available until 1145. We asked, isn’t there any consideration for an emergency of this sort? We were told we should take him to an emergency vet if need be. Thankfully, my sister‘s vet was much more accommodating and said we can bring him right in despite the fact that he isn’t even a patient of theirs. I am totally disgusted.

This is a shame because for YEARS I loved this spot. My cat was well cared for by the doctor. But she’s also known for having a hard time getting to the vet as she hates the carrier. She’s made me late for our appts many times but the staff has been kind and understands. The other day a Dr Kennedy was rotating in as our regular Dr was out, and she was rude enough to make me leave the practice. I was 8 minutes late after battling my cat to get here and the techs tried to help get me in but the Dr said absolutely not come back another time … as my cat is howling. The Dr did not care and after trying to speak to the manager about it, she did not seem to care about losing a long term client either. Just figured others should know how the staff feels about losing patients that they suddenly stop having sympathy for. Don’t bother going here if you want to be let down in the long run.

My Zoie is 13 years old and has been going to Little Falls Animal hospital since she was born. I recently made an appointment just for a wellness check however due to unforeseen circumstances I had to reschedule the appointment a few times. I was utterly surprised on my last contact with VCA. The receptionist told me that she could reschedule however I have to pay in advance due to so many cancellations (3 times). What about all the appointments over the past 13 years that weren’t reschedule and the thousands of dollars they received from me? None of that was considered and apparently they do not value customer loyalty. It’s so disappointing that after all these years I would be treated like this. I stayed with Little Falls because they appeared to be caring and I never had any issues however this incident revealed that it was all a facade and all they care about is the MONEY!

Absolute shame to see what has become of Little Falls Animal Hospital after VCA took over and how long of a ways off it is from what it was under Dr. Dilts. Dr Arns is doing the best she can but is clear she needs help - prices have gone up year after year while quality of care plummeted. Once I got stuck with Laura Kennedy (won't even refer to her as a dr.) it was my breaking point (after going there for well over 20 yrs with my childhood dogs) - she was impatient with my dog, arrogant, and just forcefully pushed procedures, tests, and drugs with no explanation. Rushed us out as soon as she could. I left VCA with a message how bad my experience was and to have someone call me back - they never did - I changed vets and would recommend you do your research, there are many better options in the area for better quality of care.

Hi everyone it is Lee Day please pass this message on so no other animals die in a VCA animal hospital hands around the country It has been four weeks since I lost my sweet baby Hazel the sugar glider because the @vcamorrisplains Plains Animal Hospital New Jersey did not care about her when I asked Dr joseph Powell are they going to be ok are they going to die his cold answer was I am not a genie the next morning when I woke up at six in the morning found Hael dead!!! called them with Hazel dead in my hand they said Dr. Powell does not work on Fridays i said to get in touch with him and let him know my baby is dead do you think they even called me back on monday answer No!!! but they sure care about the money that is all they care about!!! put my charge on the dispute and they rejected it I am not done till I put that the hospital name VCA Animal Hospital has more than a bad name when Rainbow is now my friend because I adopted her sugar Gliders Sara and Amy and she sees our girls every night by video chat she called them to straighten this out and get my money back when they heard my name Lee Day they hung up in her face that shows they are guilty of no doing the right care for my girls VCA Morris Plains Animal Hospital New Jersey this message is for all of the staff and dr Joesph Powell #vacanimalhospitalshavenoloveorcompassionforanimalsjustmoney!!!!

I have been bringing my dogs to Little Falls Animal Hospital for years , since my dogs were puppies , ( 6 weeks and 2 month old ) until now. I haven’t written any reviews about this hospital. Vets are amazing and even the techs , I have trusted them and very thankful for what they have done , to the care they have given to my dogs . The only disappointment is the one Lady at the desk “ she is cold and not nice at all” maybe she just don’t like my dogs or she might have a problem with me , I really don’t know what seems to be the reason . I have thought of writing a review before and for years but I let it passed but I think I needed to this at least management would know how I felt .

We needed to euthanize our dog. We called got a same day appointment. Dr. Briganti and staff were very caring, supportive, accommodating and compassionate. They gave us all the time we needed and most of all made Noel comfortable and eased her anxiety which allowed her to know we were there and to spend some time with her before they administered any meds. Thank you

My husband and I took our beloved dog here for the first time and we were amazed at the attention and care from everyone here. The vet was very knowledgeable and she listened to our concerns and made sure we agreed with the course of treatment for our dog. She made sure to be available the next day even when she was not going to be in the same office to keep her updated on our dog condition. We felt so much in love with this place that we almost switch our vet. But we are going to keep both for now. Keep up the the good work!

Well what can I say...For starters I'm very disappointed and unhappy. About a month ago my family and I found a stay kitten outside our house crying for help we took her in and named her luna. Since then have been trying to look for vets to get her checked out so she can live a long and healthy life.We had an appointment arranged at this location for 5:00pm for her first physical exam we even received a confirmationemail prior to the visit. I get a phone call from my sister that they canceled the appointment a couple hours before we even showed up....their reasoning is that because luna the kitten "is a stray cat that she would be aggressive and bite and scratch the staff" and that they would have to "sedate her" to preform any procedures because they've had agreresive cats in their facility in the past.I understand that some cat's (not all) are aggressive but I can honestly say that this "stray cat" is the biggest sweetheart ive ever encountered she hasn't bitten nor has she scratched anyone in an aggressive way at all I haven't even herd a hiss come from her since we took her in.This was the only appointment we could book that was at a reasonable wait time to get her checked out and waited a month to do so and for what? To cancel an appointment for a cat they've never seen before because they are under the assumption that the cat is aggressive?This isn't fair and im sure their have been way more aggressive pets here. What's the point in running an animal hospital if you can't handle animals?

My cat had received dental care here she had her teeth extraction due to stomatitis. The entire procedure was done wrong and I had 3 different vets tell me the same exact thing even her assessment was incomplete. When I told them she had stomatitis and requires a full mouth extraction they scheduled her for one and after the surgery they told me no she has gingivitis and only removed some of her teeth !! They left her molars and her canines and competent person let alone a vet would know a cat suffering from stomatitis will suffer even leaving one tooth behind! After dishing out money to this butcher shop I found out from a xray done by another vet that the roots were never removed. Now I have snickers scheduled to get a full extraction done by Pearly Whites. If you care at all for the well being of your pets do not bring your animals here. Also all the nice comments you see by the management replying to poor reviews is all a act when you speak to them and hold them accountable they will talk to you so nasty. They did not know that I am a medical doctor and tried to speak to me like I am dumb hairbrained.Oh and another thing they tried telling me I haven’t went back since her surgery I have proof I went back to discuss this issue and the vet examined snickers mouth and quoted me for a whole new surgery !! I have pictures on my phone of snickers in her exam room what kind of place doesn’t even keep track of their patient list !! Thank God for pictures with date and time they tried telling me she was never seen. Crazy!! AVOID THEM AT ALL COST !!

I've had good experiences all around with every doctor and staff member but have been especially impressed by Dr. Merz. She is a rare combination of excellent doctor and excellent communicator. This practice has been consistent with a high level of professionalism and care during Covid. Really won me over to make a permanent switch - and we've had a lot of vets with a lot of dogs.

My first time here and was told to stay in my car because of covid. My dog was brought inside and I was called after by the doctor. Not much transparency here. Normally I like to build a relationship with my vet and discuss about my dog’s health during the examination. Was just told my dog is in good health on 2 min call. Very odd procedure. Price is a little higher than average.

The entire staff here is amazing! We were impressed from the second we walked in the door for the first time. They set a standard for their practice in that visit and not one time have they ever fallen below that standard. It's good to know our pups are always in good hands.

I not only take my own personal animals here but I take my rescue animals as well. I run a small animal rescue. Mainly cats at this time but, they are awesome! They always have time to talk to me about any problems I’m having, they have great advice, they love my animals and my animals love going there. My feral cats behave better for them and their staff then they do for me at times! I have nothing but good things to say about them. I have been going there for over 8 years and always have felt cared for and appreciated!

We LOVE this place! We have trouble finding exotic vets as we have a Bearded Dragon, but Dr. Arms was amazing! She did blood-work which was in the very next day, asked and answered all possible questions and sent us home with medications. They also gave us pricing options to work with us we opted b to pay a bit more because we wanted important testing done but even so they are very reasonably priced.

We have been taking our cat to Dr. Merz since we first got her 3 years ago. She is wonderful. The staff at the front desk are very pleasant and the interior is very clean. No weird animal odors or messes. Will continue to visit for sure!

Dr. Briganti was recommended to us by two different vet's offices. She's the person to see for feline dental extraction, very experienced and one of the few who can do dental x-rays for cats. Our cat was treated with care, all our questions were answered, and she followed up during his recovery. Great staff also.

Little Falls Animal Hospital is great! Our dogs love Dr. Briganti and so do we, the human parents. We recently experience having one of our dogs pass and we can't say enough how well the matter was taken care of and they felt right along with us. We will remain loyal customers! Its hard to find a good Vet and people who care. We recommend LFAM!

What can I say about this place but that they were amazing! They treated my girl as one of their own till her last day. From having to have surgery during Covid with Dr. Beeber who was absolutely amazing with her and us. He called us during and after, and would call me after every follow up to check on her. To now the unfortunate event of having to put her down because she got sick again and Dr. Merz was the one that had to call me and give me the bad news. She walked me through it all the day of, let me hold her till the end. And lastly all the staff especially for that sweet sweet card you guys sent us. It made us all cry but we hold it very dear to our heart. My girl was the best and we will never forget her. Thank you all for making this process as hard as it was, easy for us to cope through.

I brought my 2 kittens to VCA LF vet. It was warm and welcoming. As a first time kitten owner, was worried about my new little guys. The vet (I cant remember the name, gentleman with glasses) was friendly and answered every question I had and treated my kittens gently and double checked everything.Will come here again for sure.

We brought our dog here over the weekend and it couldn't have been better. The vet, Dr. Merz i want to say her name was but I can't remember the name fully was great with our husky. As soon as she came into the room she sat down and pet our girl and gained her trust. I've been to other vets and they just throw them on the table and hold them down to get what they want and literally traumatized her. I had to have her sedated last time she needed blood work at another vet. She was able to get blood with no sedation, no crying, nothing. Just showed her some love and was able to get everything she needed. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a vet. We also went one other time and saw someone else, an older Dr. Maybe the owner and he was also great with her.

Dr. Beeber is exceptional! My French bulldog has struggled to breathe for months before Dr. Beeber did his surgery to open up his nostrils. Now my dog breathes so much better and seems so much happier. Dr. Beeber is very communicative and his office staff made me feel super comfortable with everything they were doing. I cannot thank Dr. Beeber and Little Falls Animal Hospital enough!

Totally incredible! My baby girl, French Bulldog suffered a medical emergency late yesterday! She was unresponsive and not moving. Dr.Merz and her team her team took incredible care of her! Literally saved her life and stabilized her. What’s more amazing is Dr. Merz is not our regular vet. They agreed to see her because they were closest to us. They stabilized her and sent us to Fairfield for overnight monitoring! I can’t thank them enough!!! I have a new vet and would recommend Little Falls Animal Hospital to anyone!!! Better yet Dr. Merz followed up with me and Fairfield Animal hospital to make sure Caymus was doing well today. Can’t say enough good things!!! Beyond exceptional!!!

We have 4 ferrets. It was not easy to find a vet that specializes in exotic animals. Many doctors claim that they treat ferrets, but in reality they have no idea what to do. Little Falls Animal Hospital has at least 3 exotic specialists (that I know of). In particular, Dr. Beeber has tons of experience with ferrets. He writes books about them. We trust him 100%. He performed 2 successful surgeries on our fuzzies. Our ferrets recovered quickly and lived happily ever after.The stuff is nice and helpful. Wait time is minimal.

Dr. Merz is the best. She was so patient and gentle with my old man. I had to unfortunately put my dog down and they didnt rush me to leave at all. I took my time to say good bye to him and she was helping every step of the way. If I ever get another pet IF! Cause I'm still sad about my baby spotty but I will come back here. I will also refer anyone I know close by to go there.

Clean facility but way overpriced. Good price to fix car but when you add that to another procedure the prices goes up, even though it should be cheaper if the cat only has to go under anesthesia once. Nope their good price to get a cat fixed is only if alone so they can complete with competitors. Also charged for things in did not get and only after I questioned it did they make the adjustment.
