Very funnyGuy working in tires has his own policy. NoPropane refill when it’s raining. I was there to refill propane at 3:25pm and it was little drizzling. This was first time I was getting propane from bjs as was Less expensive.I inquired in and rep in store told me to go to tire department to refill. Person working there was very rude and said we don’t refill propane when it’s raining. I couldn’t understand that and I called customer service. They said there is no such policy in bjs. So guy has his own way to work at bjs.I asked to give me feedback what action was taken for this harassment and damage paying $40 more for refill from other gas station. They should give me at least one year free membership to compensate.

This store is the most absurd one I have ever seen in my life. There's a line to pay for the products, and then another line to have what you bought checked before leaving. 🤮🤮🤮

It's a membership based shop and worth it. It is relatively cheaper and less crowded than the other ones. Also its working hours are till 10 pm so I can plan to visit it even on working days without any issues.

I usually go to the one in edison, but I was in the area...... 3 cashiers, one very long line, another section says debit credit only than a line for 15 items or less on self check out. The left side does not say 15 items or less when I went to go. The person in the area said that because I don't have 15 or less, I can not go there. I need to go to a cashier..... I said that's the other side she said no, all 15 self check outs are for 15 items or less. I am a retail manager, and that's not the way to help get a line down. Edison runs it the right way!

After looking at the recent not so nice reviews, we were not sure if we should shop at this BJ's, but they've got the gas station in this location and we wanted to participate in the gas saving program, we tried it there anyways. There was no problem, the store was clean and well organized, they have more varieties on certain items than our regular go to BJ's, the staff were nice and very helpful. Will go again

My recent experiences at BJ's Wholesale Club in Linden, NJ, have been unsatisfactory. This location is the closest one to me, and while convenience plays a role in my continued visits, the overall experience leaves much to be desired.One recurring issue I've encountered is the state of the store itself. It often appears disorganized and chaotic, with a lack of consistency in the quality and availability of products. In particular, the meat selection has been disappointing, with fatty cuts and higher prices. The inconsistency in product availability is frustrating, and if you arrive even slightly later than noon, you're likely to find a limited selection or even leftovers.My most frustrating experience recently was waiting in line for an astonishing 40 minutes to order a simple ham and cheese. This kind of wait time for basic items is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the store's management and customer service.To make matters worse, the gas line is another point of contention. The long wait times and inefficient processes make filling up a tank a time-consuming and frustrating task.Additionally, I was promised rewards when I renewed my membership, but to my disappointment, these rewards were never given to me. It's disheartening to see a lack of follow-through on their promises and a lack of appreciation for loyal customers.In summary, my experiences at BJ's Wholesale Club in Linden, NJ, have left me feeling consistently frustrated and disappointed. The lack of consistency in product quality and availability, coupled with extensive wait times and unfulfilled promises, have made it challenging to enjoy my visits. Rafat is doing his best to turn the store around. I’ve learned the best way to shop at Bjs is online and do a in store pick up. I no longer have to go around the crowd and climb up to grab inventory or do the crazy line to pay. Much more smoother experience. Only down fall is the coupons. Online coupons you can add to your card. Manufacturers coupons are harder to be credited back to you and refunded. That’s the only issue to be resolved. Thank you to all the staff trying they’re best.

Warning! Do not use the delivery from store! They deliver incomplete 100% of the time, and offer no effort to make it right. If you pay and sign up for their delivery from store service after reading this, it's your fault!

This bj's is usually well stocked and their app makes it super easy to order online and pick up in store. Downside is there is only one two-way entrance/exit which can easily cause a collision with other shopper's carts. Another downside is that their gas station lines are typically long, albeit they move quickly, and they dont accept cash- only credit or debit cards.Update 4/09/20:Plan on standing on a long line to enter store. Arrived at 9am and the line went all the way down to the back of the warehouse where trucks unload supplies. Fortunately, the line moved quickly (considering the current COVID situation) and I made it into the store 35 minutes later. Checkout lines were long as well but moved quickly, too, about a 20 minute wait. The deli line, even though short at this time of the morning, was extremely slow. There was only one person filling orders but she did so with a smile so special shout out to her. I'm super grateful to all the employees for doing such a great job making sure customers are taken care of! Altogether, my trip took about 2 hours.

Terrible service and overall bad shopping experience.Going to checkout took longer then shopping for the items. All self checkout are 15 items or less and they have the nerve to just open 3 of 13 non self checkout registers on a Saturday and funnel everyone to those with over 15 items even when noone is at self checkout.Curbside pickup is no different, tried it once and waited 45 minutes just to go into the store to get the merchandise myself.Whoever is the manager should quit and find a different career path.

As a person that is always busy carry out works for me. However, my last two orders I have arrived home and realized I’m missing items I paid for. What can I do once I come home??? Today I decided to take screen shots of my order. I realized I was missing the chicken, 2 packs of meat, milk, eggs! More than $100 in food!! Thank god I realized while at bjs so that I can say something. The apologize and I understand things happen but if I were to go home again today who would believe that I never got all my items! They need to figure out a system to check every item before going to the cars! This is not acceptable

Bad customer service. Employee lack of training. Be very careful when you do online shopping and pick up in store they will give you damage, expired items, open boxes, and will denied your refund or retun and make you wait hours for you to get your money back. Very unprofessional, rude Bjs location. Do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else not worth time and money.

The tire guys broke my car’s rear windshield and tail lights while installing new tires I purchased from them. They didn’t even give me a physical report of the in incident. I had to call the police to make a report. We’ll see how it plays out with their insurance. I suspect it will be a headache with them.

Always come here to shop but they got my mom (a bit elderly) to open a credit card to pay for her membership. She went to pay it off and they said it was fine, it wasnt 😭 her near perfect credit score is dropped and owes way more now

worst BJs to deliver if you are from a small company. The woman in charge of checking in will only let the big companies go first, even if you have an appointment, she will leave you waiting until the end of the day for two or three hours, she will treat you with no respect and say that she does what she wants with the drivers . Worst experience in NJ BJs and it has already happened twice in the same store with the same woman. only work if there is a manager around

I’m a customers for around 21 year and and I have to say yesterday 03/10/2023 evening time I have to left my entire shopping cart at the cashier I was already in payment in auto cashier when a woman come to me block me to pay say me I have to move bc I have to many items, I pay in those cashier at minimum of 1 to 3 times a week every week and I never have problems and in that moment there was 9 open cashier all empty no line waiting there in the last was a person cashier with a very long line with shopping car full the wait to pay there I calculate around 30 min + I have very long day no food in 27h. Of fasting I have healthy problems I feel very very bad but I make the last effort of the day to buy food bf get home and eat a decent healthy meal…well that woman cashier in very very bad mode with bad sarcastick expression tell me to move! I reply her why here are no people not even a line I don’t feel well I heaven’t eat in all day I’m exausted I can’t make that terrible line just for no sense she reply move! I reply her one more time if I have to make that terrible long line for no reason just bc you want well I rater to not buy here and leave all the shopping cart here again she reply in sarcastic way ok I don’t care! And just cancel all my account. I send e-mail to customer service and they not even border in answer me back nothing so resume of the story I’m a customer who spend thousand and thousand at bjs in items, gas and expensive non sense membership (yes non sense I pay for spend my money in a store is a non sense) to get treat with so much consideration and disisrespect excuse me no this very wrong it a shame! I wonder if I am the only one person or there are more customers are getting treat with no consideration and disisrespect?

This BJ'S has the worse people checking at the door TSA is less thorough and they do it to every customer & when they miss count you have to stand there while they recount your items 10 times no exaggeration. The line to get out the door is ridiculous. And when you ask them if there's something missing they never know then say sometimes the machines marks things wrong. I'm not going back here. My last straw was it took them 20 minutes to figure out which one of my 20 items wasnt scanned.

The lines are extremely too long. This store need more cashier, if self checkout only allows 15 items or less. Spending over an hour in line is not acceptable at 11:00 am in the morning.

The way the gas station is set up is ridiculous. There’s so many pumps that are unused and cars build up because the hose isn’t long enough to reach the other side. It’s outrageous. If you’re in the back of the line you won’t see any signs. There’s no system, it’s a mess.

The cashier number 4 of today March 23 2023 in the afternoon at about 5pm was very rude. She told us that why we bought so many things and she started scanning my food and throwing it in the shopping cart. She looked at my sister and me in a bad way. And she was also texting. She gets paid to do her job, I don't understand why the bad attitude. What bothers me the most is that I spend $600 dollars, I'm going to buy, not ask anyone for gifted things. I asked to talk to the manager and report what happened to me and the people behind me in line. Because she also treats them in the same way as me.

This location has always been convenient for me but now I prefer to travel to Edison. The managers are awful, the deli staff has been known to be closed because everyone quit. It's usually well stocked.but the check out lines are too long though at times they move fairly well. Overall not a good shopping experience anymore.

I was so impressed with the excellent service I received at the Linden BJ's today. Elena from the bakery department was so nice and even working by herself, she was polite and helped me with my cake order. Dominique from customer service was also so helpful. She was attended to see if anybody needed any help with the self checkout and also helped me with my request for cash back. Today I was impressed.

I went to fill my propane tank that I bought there a while ago. It is stamped with the mfg date of 10-22. They refused to fill it saying that they had a 10 year policy. Right near the mfg date is a statement saying the product must be requalified within 12 years. So I asked about the discrepancy and the employee said I will not fill it it is our policy. So their policy goes against their product 's timeline. Why would you sell a product if you will not stand behind it. Super disappointed.
