Came here to grab a few items during my visit to Lincroft. Off the main road and main section of the town. They have plenty of parking.The store is nicely maintained and very clean. Able to get the items easily and the produce looks so fresh and they have huge seal food section. The hot bar item is well stocked, too. They do have a Starbucks inside the shop, and it's a plus!!!

Went to get cold cuts and where the precut cold cuts was empty so went to the deli counter was told they where closed, asked what time they close and was told 7:30-8:00 but the problem is it was only 7:20 and they wouldn’t help me.Ask to speak to the manager and was told that there was no manager so I went to customer service they went back to the deli dept and I got what I needed. I’m very understanding but it was not like I went there and at 7:55 it was 40 minutes before they where supposed to close. Before They did tell me about the precut cold cuts and I did mention to them that it was just about empty and what I wanted to get there was none left. If the people in the deli just did their job it would of never came down to this and I would of never had to leave a bad review

I usually like this acme but when I went there with my boyfriend he was discriminated against because he was wearing his hood up. I didn’t know this was a place you can’t wear a hood? It was 930 they close at 10 and I am a nurse and in scrubs just to give you a full picture. This old Karen lady not sure her name short older heavy set lady followed us around the whole store !!! Starting being rude and judging she thn finally goes rudely can I help you as we are grabbing milk not looking curious at all. I said no thank you as she continued to stare my boyfriend down and proceeds to say well we are closing soo so and I looked at my phone and said yeah in 25 minutes this is crazy I get it if they close in 5 min but wow!! Discrimination over a hood good job acme. Also leaving a male employee with glasses heard me complaing of her and rudely goes find everything ok as I’m at self checkout I said yeah thn staring at my screen and I said can you not look at his credit card info and he finally walked away as leaving he said have a great day again sarcastically. No respect won’t be back.

Solid store but Everytime I’m there, every isle has five workers stocking shelves and you can’t get through them . The isles are already tight and now there’s at least three workers on every one blocking .

Although Lincroft ACME was very clean and displayed a decent variety of brands and products, it did not have the particular product I was looking for that night, despite an internet search that showed it did carry the product. Also, I wish the store had been more brightly lit.

I don't live anywhere near here, (an hour away) but I visit once a week for other business. In doing so I have 3 hours to kill. I find myself roaming each aisle and it's beautiful !!!! I met Chris, who is the store manager. He keeps this store absoulty impeccable. I enjoy purchasing because the prices are great, it's so clean, every space has product but not done where it's overly cluttered. Thank you Chris and your wonderful, helpful employees.

I visited this store on my way to Red Bank yesterday, and again this evening. It was ten minutes to closing time, yet when I got inside some rude, short, very old lady started yelling at me that the store was closed and that I had "sneaked in through a locked door." I ignored her false accusation about the OBVIOUSLY NOT locked door.I told her what time it was, and that I needed to get a refund with customer service for some bad fruit that I had purchased the prior day. The fruit gave me food poisoning (grapes were fine on the top of the bag, but hidden underneath the newer grapes were mostly rotten, RANCID ones!!!She told me that they "don't sell rotten food," but that is a COMPLETE LIE because I had the fruit with me and my receipt from yesterday to show her. She then stated, and I quote, "Get out of my store now or I will call the police!"I then asked "may I please use the restroom?" Her response was "Get out of my store, the restrooms have been closed for over an hour!"A customer who had just checked out at the register line looked at me as she was hustling out of the store and said "don't shop here, I'm not ever coming back, these people are rude and absolute lunatics!"Wow, was she right. I'm going to call the Health Department tomorrow and file some complaints about their rotten produce, as well as about them not offering restrooms at a food establishment during working hours.WHATEVER YOU DO, AVOID THIS ACME GROCERY STORE AND THEIR SUPER RUDE, LYING STAFF AT ALL COSTS!!! Pricing all seems to be biased to family-sized orders. There are way too many specials that only apply if you buy two or three items. I live by myself and I'm not going to throw away food in order to get a better price. Butcher and seafood nowhere Foodtown in Red Bank

RUDE EMPLOYEE - At about 8:40 p.m. on July 4, 2022, I went to the pharmacy and took some masks from a container that unambiguously labeled them as free. I then proceeded to leave the store and the blonde elderly lady who was standing near the self checkout machines thought that I was stealing and claimed that I was leaving with "unpaid merchandise". I politely tried to explain to her that I had received the free masks from the pharmacy, but she acted like I was lying. Every word that came out of her mouth was said in a nasty tone, which appalls me that Acme, a wonder supermarket in the community, would hire such an egregious employee. I advise upper management to retrain her immediately.

Ordered online for pickup for the first time, very satisfied. Very courteous, friendly gentleman who brought out groceries, ease of shopping on website and you can edit or cancel order up till midnight and pick up anytime before 8.Definitely will be utilizing again

If you are in town it is quite convenient. But, from home ShopRite is easier to get to forin and out shopping. Had a craving for a corn muffin with some chili from my eldest. Choose 2for$4 or 4for$6.

It's a quiet place and good if you want a couple things. They don't have a large variety of diverse items. It's convenient, people are friendly and they have a lot of sales frequently. The reason why this is getting two stars is because they don't have a diverse array of items.

Okay selection of items. I'm only giving 2 stars because so many items are expired or a day away from expiring. Milk, yogurt, bread etc are always items I need to sort through to find reasonable expiry dates. Sometimes the only items available are set to expire the following day. It's been like this for years.

This Acme store is always clean, well stocked and the employees are very helpful and friendly. Today I saved 62% off the regular retail price on my purchase. The quality of the meats and the service and selection and quality at the bakery/deli are outstanding!!

So we qualify for a free turkey. We go into the store 8days before the holiday and they are out of qualifying turkeys. Employees don't know when more items will be available.Acme needs to ensure that if it decides to offer free items it has enough supply to cover demand. Period.

They redid the store to be more like a large convenience store for the immediate area. Meat is good. Avoid the seafood and go to Lusty Lobster in Highlands. This Acme has everything you need for your weekly shopping , but the selection is smaller than let's say the Shop Right on RT 35. Edit 7-28-18: Often a long wait to check out at lunch time. The new Emporium in Marlboro is very quick in and out.They installed self check out in again. Often there is no human covering express check out. So you do it yourself or wait behind someone with a full cart. Many aisles are one-way with unneeded displays blocking your passage. Please get rid of the in aisles displays. You can't move in the store.Edit 10-13-19 They still have more and more displays in the narrow aisles almost to a point they get in the away of any evacuation. Very annoying.

Good location. Small parking lot. Vegetables aren't the greatest quality. They turn bad pretty quickly. Avoid the seafood, there are fresher options in the area. Good deals on poultry and beef, no issues with quality.

My first visit to an Acme supermarket. It was midday so it was not too busy. My only observation is that it's very dated and could use a makeover. Store personnel were pleasant.

This is possibly the worst store ever. The employees are exceptionally slow and unknowledgeable, not to mention, rude. The shelves are never well stocked and often, the most basic items are missing. The produce is not well-kept and the employees stocking the produce all seem dirty. Well convenience tends to be key, and I do live right around the corner, I will never come back to the store. Overall, terrible store and terrible experiences.

I would ascribe 5 stars to this ACME if ONLY their produce section was consistently stocked with edible produce. The lettuce, broccoli and strawberries ARE ALWAYS old, starting to mold, and discolored. It is so disappointing especially since the rest of the grocery store is clean, well-stocked (albeit fewer brand selection as of late), and the staff is so kind and willing to help.

Used to be Open until midnight, now it's closing at 10pm! Always happy when places stay open late..(though, they used to be open all night) Prices high, but it's Lincroft. Unfortunately, all prices are high around here for groceries, gas, etc.
