I used to think Ledgewood Wal-Mart was a good location but it definitely let me down. I was turned away from the only staffed register because I had two carts...as if I am employed there and am OBLIGATED to check-out my own groceries...how rude! The manager offered to assist scanning at the self checkout BUT I didn't need "assistance" I am well capable! The point is, why do I HAVE TO?? Really disappointed of having spent $500+ at a store who doesn't value its patrons!!

It’s HUGE. I like the layout but my wife doesn’t. The place is new and kept very clean. Checkout is very efficient. Bakery goods are fresh and very good. Dairy section is large and well stocked. Meat and produce were good.

Super let down. Was excited to get a Walmart super center here for years, and what we got is a let down. Flat out, the place is poorly managed. With the exception of going the morning of the grand opening, nothing is ever properly stocked, ever. With nothing on the shelves, no employees are in any form of a rush to get product back on the shelves. I've been in many super centers in various states, and this one is a disgrace. If it improves I'll update this, but every time I go in there it's the same thing. I've given it plenty of chances.On a positive note, the Heated indoor Cart Corral is a lovely feature in winter. Nothing like having cold hands in winter, and grabbing an ice cold cart. Its a horrible thing we've all come to accept as normal. Having the carts await your arrival under an industrial heat lamp indoors, and when you grab it, the handle is nice and warm? Now that's luxury I didn't know I needed and certainly didn't expect from Walmart. Well done, that redeemed what would have been a much lower rating.

Paid at self check out got stoped by secuity check why sometimes igo to cash register and check depends on what buying less service with self check same hassel less people and no jobs ? . Paying alot more then useul less conveince get eggs. Milk and other at a ma and pop store with no hasel. ???. Why

This Walmart was one of the only local location that had the formula my child uses in stock. I stopped to get it around 6:45pm, this location locks up their formula which that in itself is ridiculous. However I waited, pressed the button several times, nobody came to help. I went looking for an associate who was in the baby section and asked her to help, she didn’t have the key so I asked her to get someone she started to walk away so I went to wait, minutes went by I went back to see if anyone could help me, this same employee is standing in the baby section, I asked if she got anyone and she told me no and that I had to go get someone at customer service and that it wasn’t her job. I went up to customer service and the 2 female employees working were standing on their phones and also told me they didn’t have a key but they’d send someone . Finally thanks to the kind woman in the food department I got the formula. 5 min trip turned into 20min. Absolutely ridiculous

The employees at the Ledgewood Walmart location are incredibly rude and unhelpful, and I'm also fed up with the constant receipt checking. Moreover, the fruits and vegetables are often old and moldy, further diminishing the shopping experience. I would rather go to Shoprite that has them fresh. Additionally, there's an issue with racial profiling of Hispanics and Black individuals at this location, which is completely unacceptable!

This review is in regards to the bakery. I can’t explain how satisfied i was with their cakes. I ordered an 8 inch cake and 12 cupcakes “both ice cream theme”. They were able to change the colors for me and was also to receive a free smash cake. My order was also available for pick up earlier than the time i requested. I will definitely use their services again.

I work for Walmart in another state...this complex was very impressive....clean environment, great selection of all needs from groceries to electronics to clothes to hardware...clean aisles fully stocked... competitive pricing...mini stores attached...supportive staff. Wz

Love this Walmart, however I have Walmart + and notice I am never prompted about it at checkout? Also, the deli is friendly. One person was helping like 2 customers and each was ordering like 2-3 items; however, the pre-made deli meats and cheeses were fully stocked. They need to kill self checkout and bring back registers with people; today they had more regular registers open - thank goodness. Big families that spend big should continue to be top priority. Omni shoppers are still is lalaland, coming aisles, no doubt completely overwhelmed with unreasonable pick rates. I feel omni pick devices should have a button that designates when omni associates has shifted gears and servicing a customer so that they are not penalized by helping by lowering their pick rates. I am sure an established percentage could be encouraged. My 25 years in Omni retail and logistics give me credibility here. So, notice Indian cooking sauces were completely out of stock, leaving little choice for that population of shopper to head to ZIFITI. This is a correctable mistake in under representing your shopper's demographic.

None of the regular checkout is open! Only self-checkout is available. When inquired why, “We have a problem with the Cash register.” Wonder, then, why the self-check-out is working.This uniform answer from all the employees seems well-practiced when asked. Many customers are very unhappy and let the poor workers know. It is not their fault. Its management. Many shoppers with a full shopping cart forced to self-checkout mentioned they would go elsewhere next time.My thought: I would fill out an application if I would like to work at Walmart. But I do not! Therefore, I will do my next shopping somewhere else.

I went to Walmart because I had a $15 Walmart gift card someone bought for me for x-mas .So I decided to buy a Roblox gift card and it didn't work so I call a crew member to help me to try the buy the gift card I wanted and I put $15 on the card and also there is no sales tax on gift cards either.But either way that was not the problem they told me you can't buy a gift card with another gift card which I found kind of lame.Next I was like so check the amount on the gift card first before I leave so I can buy something else next time and I waited for 10 minutes for them to check the card and they it didn't work.Also I didn't use the card yet so how was that possible.Now I walked out with nothing.That's $15 down the drain.

Store is a bitter disappointment. Shelves are not fully stocked. Fresh produce and meat a horrible - actually stopped buying both at this location. Good luck finding a checkout with a person at it - all self checkout. My favorite part is the are you stealing from us check at the door. Once I pay for my items they are mine. If you think I am stealing from you - stop self checkout and take the power tripping fools off the main door. I have no problem with showing my receipt but he/she has no right to go into my bags with my items. I dont know where he / she has been and dont need them pawing through my stuff.

Very clean and organized! Shopping here is a great experience. Lots of variety in a wide range of products; I am also able to find a few items that my regular grocery store does not carry regularly. Good place for one stop shopping, plenty of parking, and easily accessible from i80. Nice spot to shop considering that the regular Walmarts closer to my place are not that good.

This place has to many self checkout registers and not enough regular registers.... I hate self check outs... Come on employ people!! It's not like you get a discount for checking yourself out.Also the inventory in this place is weird. They don't carry lots of stuff a regular Walmart carries. Yeah good section is huge but other departments are smaller.

I am leaving this review due to their absurd practice of checking your reciept when you leave the store. It's extremely denigrating and makes you feel like a common criminal. Is theft really that big an issue in Roxbury? That's a rhetorical question because the answer is no. Nowhere else do they do this, not at Target or any grocery stores in the area. Only at this Wal mart. I hate being treated like I'm a crook with these people checking my reciept and snooping through my bags. You've just lost a customer Wal Mart. Was whatever minimal theft you may be preventing worth it?
