From our first meeting to discuss my empty flower beds to the installation, she was always pleasant, extremely knowledgeable and her design exceeded my expectations. She listened to what I wanted, offered helpful suggestions and I couldn’t be happier with the end result.

I was forewarned. I read all the negative reviews and went there anyway because of its new convenient location.The staff was snarky, impatient and dismissive if not disrespectful. Especially the blonde older woman cashier.The yard help was lazy, trying to duck from helping customers.The stock was not well cared for. Leaves were burned. Having baskets were leggy.All of it was higher in price than at other area nurseries. Never again.

So glad I visited the new location. So many garden experts aren't open on Sunday when gardiners love to garden! I was happy they were open and very well staffed. Everyone asked if I needed any help, suggested plants for me based on what I was trying to do, and helped me carry my things and load my car.

This place is the best! We've bought many of our favorite trees and plants from here. They're always helpful, reasonably priced and extremely knowledgeable. We went in a few weeks ago to see if we could get something for a pest that was feasting on our Japanese maple. Their tree expert knew exactly what it was immediately, and how to get rid of it! Amazing!

There is a saying "First impression is the last impression". All I can say is that yesterday was my first and last visit to this place. The manager was rude and peculiar! Reason - I asked him a clarifying question about landscaping fees and what is included in the service. I understand it was almost closing time and he could have just told me to come later. I would have just walked out. Instead he chose to be rude and got super animated. He has no professionalism left in him let alone customer service! Even the staff members at the counter were surprised by his behavior. What examples are we setting for the next generation?Mr. Manager, a small piece of advice - please learn some manners. Sometimes you don't know who you are dealing with.

Nice selection, pricier than some, not as pricey as others. But they must be getting robbed blind or I look like a petunia thief because one person who worked there approached me and asked if I had a receipt (I was still shopping) and another kept following me and directing me to the cashier (I was still shopping). I thought about just leaving the cart and going home, though when I finally did check out the kids who worked the register were nice, therefore 2 stars because of them, though I won't be back.

They seem to have a good selection of plants/shrubs. They are very unorganized, some folks are rude, and the customer service is terrible. The way even the manager (Paul) speaks to the customer is not reflective of good customer service (one of many suggestions I can give is try "Hello, how can I help you today?" in stead of "What do you want?'. I've witness conflict and disorder between the staff members (suggestion, don't argue in front of the customer) . Some of the younger staff (mainly HS students) are pretty helpful to the extent that they can be. The few times that I've been here and had interactions with the staff members, it seem as if they didn't care about my business there and that they did want to be their themselves.

Highly impressed with excellent service. Owner Paul took a special rose order from me, called me a week later to say the order was on its way, then had an associate call me to say that it had arrived! Really appreciate the professional follow up and will definitely return!

Bought a couple of trees from here out of the 5. one died the cherry tree, 250 dollar roxsbury charged when home depot has for 80 and twice the size... but the cherry didn't survive over the winter and basically he blamed us for it when all others survived.. no discounts no questions just blamed the customer for not taking care of it very rude. Roxsbury sold a bad tree and didn't even care that we lost our over priced cherry tree died . So beware when purchasing anything here.. will not give my business here anymore

Had a lovely experience with this nursery. We had someone come to our house and plan out what we should buy and to plant. Extremely knowledgeable and helpful staff. Will definitely be going back for more plants and shrubs!

I noticed there were a lot of young staff there but no one asked me if I needed help. I did. I needed pricing, area where I could find something and when I finally asked a girl there she looked at me like I was interrupting her. Just a lil more attention to customer please.

Speak to the manager, many employees will misinform you and you will end up wasting your time. Most of them are pleasant, however there is 1 lady there that 2 that has a HORRIBLE attitude. She should just water the plants instead of handling customers. If I could give her a 0, I would!

I came here to pick out a Christmas tree near the end of November and although I found the outside staff very nice and helpful, I was disappointed by the way I was treated inside of the store. The young lady behind the register was pleasant enough (wouldn’t say she was cheerful but she was not rude) but the other staff (I’m relatively sure they were the owners or relatives of the owners/managers) seemed to be irritated by my inquiry about whether or not they had any Christmas tree food (treatment for the water to prolong the life of the tree) in stock. I first asked a female on the floor and she appeared to be in a bad mood and was abrupt and barely looked up from the project she was working on. She said “No I don’t.” A male employee jumped in and proceeded to follow up to his colleague’s reply by reiterating that he does not carry the product and that he believed Christmas tree food is a “gimmick.” Well, we’re all entitled to our opinions, but if a customer inquires about a product that is not in stock, a simple, “No we don’t actually have that here” would suffice. It is not professional to knock the product and go on in a condescending way to continue devaluing it. Sadly, I also witnessed a similar interaction with another customer shortly after my conversation- not acceptable! For the price I paid for this tree (although it was fresh and a nice tree, I’ve purchased trees just as fresh and for a lot less money elsewhere) and considering the way I was treated, I have no intention of giving this place my business again. There are other local options with more competitive pricing and fresher wreaths to boot.

No bargains here .... decent inventory but some of the plants looked stressed...one of the calillies I purchased lasted about three days before it turned yellow and wilted ......no better then Home Depot or Lowe's...and prices are somewhat higher...and no veterans discount...not as good as previous owners.....And to indicate just how sharp these folks are it took them over 3 months to comment and replySHARP AS A SOUP SPOON....need I sat more

I had the worst experience of my life in this place. I asked for a business discount and the person that was supposed to help me (fat short guy) was speaking to me in a very rude way to say de least. I do not recommend this place, they do not know how to treat a customer and instead of being civil they take their anger out on the customer.

Roxbury Garden Center has a nice supply of spring and summer flowers. They have several deer resistant varieties. They also have potting soil, landscape plants, gardening tools, etc.
