Went to get some swiss cheese at the deli dept - there were 2 other customers in line. 3 employees were cutting meat & cheeses for pre-cut area - Not one stopped to help the 3 customers in line - really poor managing. Good way to lose customers

Great store!! Easy parking, very clean inside and out. Shelves are always stocked. The only draw back would be the deli with long lines and only 2-3 persons working the counter but I can overlook that.

It was so nice to meet your new employee Tally today. She even allowed a selfie with me. She was talkative, polite, informative and helpful. Thanks for a good experience. I love shopping here and the rest of the staff is great too.

• Love when they have food tasting samples!• Employees are easy to find, for questions.• Check-out's a bit confusing.Make sure you look up at the red cube to see if you're in the Cash Accepted lane or No Cash lane.• No Cashier's, it's all Self Check-out.There is an employee overlooking everything though to help with any questions/problems.

The manager, whose name i forget but they had blue hair, gave me a hard time over $5 dollars in coupon discrepancy online. He told me the prices would change upon checkout. I called my wife who did so and sent screen shots to show that they didn't increase. He honored the price, but was very rude about telling me that he would not honor online pricing again. The items were set for PICKUP. If I come and grab them off the shelves instead, I saved BJs the trouble of putting extra labor towards my order. BJs is not even worth the money when you pay $20 for the annual membership. We will be canceling and switching to costco.

The staff at this location is unprofessional, unhelpful, and downright disrespectful.I asked a front end manager with help locating and item and she told me to “wait,” which I did, for two minutes and when I asked again she asked “did you not understand what I said?” Mind you, this was after I walked around the store for 5 minutes searching for someone to help me. I decided to escalate it to the store manager, Erin, and her response when I told her what her what her front end manager said was “what to you want me to do about it?” I sat there stunned and told her I have no idea and walked off. Her lack of concern told me all I needed to know about the way she runs the store- piss poor customer service is the status quo.I’ve shopped at other locations and never encountered this level of unprofessionalism. Typically, the staff is genuinely kind and eager to help out. Avoid this location if you can.

Your average BJs that is either a Hit or Miss. Checkout lines can get very long depending on when you go, then you wait on another line on the way out. Spend more time on lines here than anything else. If you need anything at this store, Rose has always been a big help.

Member Services staff can’t even charged 3 items when the only thing are doing is just standing. This after ask if the scan option in the app works. Ridiculous! Bad customer service.

I do $500+ store pickup orders and every time that dept is a disaster… they don’t load your cart until you check-in, so they are always under pressure and slow. Every order I am missing multiple items and/or damaged items; it’s a 40-minute drive so going back to the store really cuts into the cost-effectiveness of my membership.Update 6/2023:This store is still no better… every store pickup order comes with a headache. Wrong items, missing items, or my favorite - food that expires within a day or two. I picked up an order yesterday and $50 worth of food expires within a couple days. The local store does not answer the phone and corporate said I have to go back to the store. I don’t like driving 45 mins a second time for their mistakes.The convenience of store pickup just isn’t worth it anymore, they pick the order wrong so I have to go down the laundry list to verify (waiting on line to have my receipt checked erroneously also - if I go in to grab the cart), waiting in the parking lot for 20 mins for someone to come out, etc.Original Review:Try another BJ’s if you can….

Prices go up size goes down. Same old song.Please STOP the sales pitch at checkout. I don’t want your credit card. It’s getting old, self checkout stops to ask questions. For the last time, NO!Aug 9 2020 waked out only 2 registers open line wrapped front to back and front again.Hire some people, this is worse every visit

This BJ’s location has to be my least favorite place to shop. They may have awesome deals on clearance items or specials that beat retail store prices but the store is suffering on staff shortages. Worst of all, the lack of direction when people are in line to checkout. There should be no line all the way back of the store to checkout and the people over there should be filing everyone up there. I will say the carts are a mess but that’s because they have nobody and no one wants to do the job. It’s shame this store is poorly managed and no care for their employees.

I love the curbside pickup. It's very convenient and the food that is picked for you has excellent dates and is fresh. The staff are polite and very professional at their jobs. They're very helpful and fast. They pack your items neatly in your vehicle where you want them and ask you if you're satisfied. I love this store and would recommend this place to my family and friends!

Poor customer service at Bjs! I've been a loyal customer for 15 years, but recently, the in-store customer service has been unhelpful. I encountered an uncooperative staff member who directed me to call customer service when I sought assistance with an item charged incorrectly. This makes me question the purpose of having a customer service desk in-store. It's time for Bjs to prioritize good customer service, or they risk losing customers to competitors like Costco, just 5 miles away. I'm taking my business elsewhere, and it's important to note that negative reviews can deter new customers, making it more expensive in the long run.

I purchased the top item in the photo expecting up to 50% off. I received nothing off. The manager said it isn’t really a summer item. Okay, so I brought false advertising to your attention, what can you do for me? Here’s the answer: Come back in November when toys go on sale and bring your receipt. If this item is discounted, we’ll credit the difference then. Would it have shut the store down to refund something on the spot? It’s your poorly placed sign BJ’s. I don’t think investing 5 or 10 bucks on customer satisfaction would have tanked the economy.

UPDATE BELOW-Of late whenever my wife and I go to B.J.s (Ledgewood) they have low stock of meat. When I can get a butcher its not an issue. This happens no matter what day of the week it is. We went this past Saturday same thing, so I went to the front desk and was told the butcher leaves at 2PM every day. *#(@&#( ???Went to BJs in Stoudsburg, what a difference. butcher there untill 5pm and everything was stocked to the brim.

This store is suffering when it comes to check out. They have 4 self check out open and 1 cashier when the line was 11 deep. The front end manager wearing a black sweat shirt with cartoon cats on it is useless. She saw the wait and ignored it walking away to talk to another employee. How bout being a leader and help with opening another register. When my membership is up I will.be going to Costco. Much better check out

When Sams club closed we came to BJ's. I noticed the prices were not as good and the customer service was awful. I purchased a few items there today and went through the self check lane. On my way out the lady with the yellow highlighter accused me of stealing a belt. She claimed it was not scanned out. I assured her that it was and pointed the belt out on the receipt. She then put her glasses on and agreed that it was on the receipt. I suggested that she should put her glasses on before she accused customers of theft. She yelled back at me " Just doing my job".I put my grocery's in the car and went back in to the store to tell my story to customer service. Having hopes that a manager could coach this lady up and avoid disgruntled customers in the future. I went to the service desk and asked to speak to a manager. Another rude employee asked me " for what?" I told the customer service lady what had just transpired at the checkout. She said " She was just doing her job" and asked me if I still wanted to speak to a manager. I informed her that judging from her response, it would be a waste of time.I will be checking out Costco in hopes of finding better pricing and a more pleasant shopping experience.

Check out at register is always headache at bjs. I see only two registers are open and there is a big line. Manager and corporate don’t even address this issues because it ongoing issues. They wants a more business but not taking care of the customers need.

The staff at BJs are excellent! Customer Service at this store is outstanding. If I need help finding something, it seems as if they have nothing else to do except help you. Anyone can see they are busy, hardworking people. It is refreshing to have a retail store staff that are both kind & helpful. Friendly from the cashiers, customer service desk & management team (Duracell Dan) to the receipt checker.

I would like to applaud the folks who work at this BJ's. I was there this morning for the "Senior Hour" and it went extremely well. Everyone was well organized and I got in and out very quickly. When I brought my cart back, I noticed a young woman going into the store with three kids. I was quite nervous about it, but found out she was told the store opens to the general public at 9 a.m. Thank you for protecting the seniors.

I always have a problem with this place. Half the time the produce is rotten or rotting on the bottom of the package. The prices are higher than my local supermarket for the majority of items. Most of all, there is no customer service. Checkout is a disaster, cashiers chatting with customers while the frozen items defrost - then they won't go back and get a fresh one for you. They just don't care. I hate shopping here and will not renew my membership. Costco was much much better.

There was an employee who was very rude and patronizing. He would also constantly stare at me and make remarks about my appearance. My children and I do not feel safe shopping here because of this man. Other than that, great prices for large quantities of items. Would shop again

Just got my membership a few weeks ago, so worth it! Everything is super cheap, they have so much better of a selection compared to Costco, such as more electronics, and the people are so friendly! Definitely suggesting to friends and family to sign up!

I belong to both BJs and nearby Costco. Will always opt for BJs. Parking and the whole shopping experience is much more civilized and less stressful than Costco.
