I'm a mature male novice in the horse world - and tbh it can be super intimidating walking into a horse store and asking for help to get geared up - especially when you are asking questions like 'what are half chaps' and 'do the socks go over or under the jodper pant things'. So it was a massive relief when Paula served me and was super patient and good humored about it all. They had all the gear that fit me, which is great as my feet,head and calves are all XL and its usually impossible to find clothes/helmets that fit me. Thanks again Paula!!

I love this store. They have everything from A to Z for horses! Always a joy to come here in person!!The reason why this review gets 4 stars is because the website is quite terrible to search for what you are looking for. Checking out is always difficult and it is not clear why sometimes I get free shipping and others I do not (even though I am over $99.) Sometimes I have so much difficulty shopping online, I just shop at another retailers website. Hope they can fix this soon. I would love to support this local business instead of the 'chains'

The store was beautiful and and had a wide variety and selection of everything you need. I was extremely disappointed coming from PA just to go here and the customer service was extremely poor. I was interested in buying a pretty expensive saddle and the employee appeared not to have much knowledge of saddles or horses nor was interested in me explaining my needs. I asked to adjust the stirrups so I could see how it fit and she said no, that's too difficult to do right here, you would have to buy it and see if it's fits. Although she acknowledged "wow that's really expensive", which I was well aware of or I wouldn't be interested in purchasing it, she indicated she had no desire to assist me in any way. I personally would not return and will keep looking elsewhere for any equine needs.

I stopped in to look at some items for my daughter’s first horseback riding lesson. The Staff was fantastic they made her feel good, they did not pressure us to buy. After her first lesson we went back and purchase multiple items. Thank you for the great service!

Large selection of items. Good quality stock from named brands. Great clearance section.Not the most organized layout. Some of the building didn’t appear to be heated. Staff was courteous but very busy and not always excited to be there.Overall it’s the best equestrian shopping experience in central/south jersey.

Absolutely a horrible place. They have no sense how to treat customers. We bought a $250 blanket because the fitting guy insisted that if it does not fit we can bring it back. We tried the blanket on our horse and it did not fit. We returned in immediately and they were such jerks to make an exchange. The lady at the register found hardly 1 X 1 inch dirt spot in the corner of the blanket and said it’s not acceptable. Then she proceeded to give me a lecture on how a horse should be spotlessly clean and the blanket can not have a little smudge. Then she was offfensive to say she would put this brand new blanket on consignment for us. All this time she continued to berate us and rudely humiliate us loudly in the store while maintaining she is being polite by allowing us to even talk. Such entitled behavior is just not acceptable. Such a bunch of jokers. They need basic training on how to talk to anyone. Having worked at a place for years doesn’t warrant you can treat people this badly and continue to get away with it. Despicable. All that for $250. Yukkk.

Used to enjoy the place as a great all around, all level, all class tack store. In recent years I've lost my taste for the place. They have gotten an "air" about them of only wanting to cater toward money and higher end customers. Always a big supporter of the local mom and pop business' around here. But as of late, I just go to the big name tack stores online. Kinder, less cliquey and don't treat you as less for not buying $300 schooling breeches and brand new everything. We need a good, down to earth tack store in the area again. I find their prices to be on the higher side as well.

If every business was this well run the world would be a better place. Amazing selection, warm and tasteful decor, amazing staff. Went there to get gear for my two young daughters, Paula made the experience one they will never forget. Will go back often.

Really nice place with tons of options. I was able to get all the stuff I needed. I also got a nice Baker blanket for really cheap from their consignment section. If I ever need something again I would definitely go back there!

If I come to your store wanting to buy a $100 item, I should be treated the same as the person coming to buy a $1000 item. Catering to the rich and famous has become a trend at Horsemens.Rude rude rude.

Fun place to visit! Lots of selection and they will almost price match to anything online with in reason. They do consignment items and will hold things for you as well. Love the custom metal tags and bracelets they do.

Very impressed with the various amount of products they carry, even better is the used/consignment part of the store. Anything that has something to do with horses, tack, riding garb is normally expensive so it's nice to see they sell used for a great price. Makes it easier to breathe when purchasing supplies! Also staff was very friendly and helpful.

I live in Colorado but placed an order with Horsemens Outlet online. The items were on clearance so I called the store to confirm that they still had them in stock. The staff there were very friendly & helpful. My order arrived within two days & they even included a free gift as a thank you. Excellent experience ordering from them & would definitely do it again!

I have used Horsemen's outlet twice now and have had an amazing experience both times. My order was shipped the same day I ordered and it arrived the next day!! The staff is very knowledgeable and had amazing recommendations. I would recommend this store to anyone. They will be getting all of my horse supply orders in the future!

Great staff who are very knowledgeable about all of the products offered. The selection is enormous with prices that are a little high (Internet Shopping will normalize that) but still worth the interaction with the staff and you get to support a local shop.I go often and I think many others will too once they try it.

Horseman’s Outlet is a literal warehouse of everything you could need for your horse or dog. From high end saddlery (ask Paula their in hose saddle fitter for help), to custom brass plates halters when we want our horses or dogs to look fancy to an entire warehouse of consignment items to choose from when you’re on a budget.Their annual sale at the end of summer is definitely the right time to pick up the item you’ve been saving for like a new pair of tall boots.The staff is super helpful and even helped me track down a western bit I only had a picture of.They cover the bases in most equine and dog area. They carry dressage, western and English rider and horses gear. A couple of years back we even purchased driving gear there for our 12h pony.Horseman’s even carries a wide selection of grooming, feed and supplements.Def a must visit if you have equine.

I used to shop here all the time and its been years since I stopped riding. My friend and I were so excited to come today with the intent to purchase a used saddle since I am riding again.. At the door the woman asked if we needed help and my friend explained she wanted to put her childs saddle on consignment. The woman basically said that they wouldn't take it because it was in bad shape and was less than polite. Let's just say we weren't treated any better as our experience continued throughout the store. I felt like they didn't care to sell a used saddle at all. We ended up leaving. I hope your employees all read this and rethink how you treat people. Very disappointing trip and will be our last trip to The Horseman's Outlet.

Horsemen's Outlet is the go-to spot for all of your equestrian needs. There is ample parking, the staff is very friendly, and the outlet is well-stocked. Items are very well organized and easy to find. The prices are competitive, even with online platforms like Amazon. I would definitely recommend shopping here if you need anything equestrian related! They also have tons of great gifts for your friends/family that love horses.

I've been coming here for everything since I was little. Very good variety of used and new products. I only have an issue with how unorganized they are when it come to items in for repairs, I have no problem waiting 10-14 days to get something back but when you call after 3 weeks asking if it's back and they have no clue I find it extremely unprofessional.

Consignment area fun to pick thru. Rest of store way overpriced. There's a nod to western riders with some saddles, headstalls, blankets & spurs. Lots of gift items and jewelry. Not a giant store but fairly large. Reminded me a little of the Smartpak store except for the consignments. Definitely worth a visit!
