Exceptional service! I’ve been coming here for a while and today I brought my dog in for dental extractions and was thoroughly impressed. Literally all the staff was friendly, Dr Kandle, Sam and Cindy were so kind and compassionate and made me feel at ease with leaving her there for a procedure. They never made me feel bad about the state of her mouth, and reassured me she would be much healthier and happier after the procedure. Thank you Sam for being patient with me as I cried, and answering all my questions and doing the dental work. Dr Kandle, thank you for calling me letting me know how the procedure went and for calming my nerves. I have full confidence that my dog is safe with you, and you all love on her like she’s your own, so from the bottom of my heart, thank you, thank you, thank you!

I have been going to Clayton animal Hospital since the day they open their doors back when Dr. Judy Morgan and Dr. Harris owned it, once Dr. Boynes had passed away. I stayed on with Dr. Morgan when she bought the practice and then she sold to Dr Sheila Kandel when she went on with a new chapter in her life . She is greatly missed but thanked for all her care over the years . Staying on with Dr Kandle and Dr. Bohling have been a wonderful experience and we’re gonna sadly miss Dr. Bohling as she leaves to go on with her new adventure in her life. We wish her nothing but the best and pray she has a great new chapter in her life just want her to know how much we’ve appreciated all the care that she’s given to our animals and the compassion that she has. God bless you Dr. Bohling

Dr Kandle and the entire team at CVA are top tier.I am so grateful for her holistic expertise for my new pup. Dr Kandle and her assistant are respectful, understanding and very knowledgeable and made our visit great. Even the puppy enjoyed his visit! The front desk staff is wonderful and you can even call to check in upon arrival so I can chill in my car or walk our dogs around until they are ready to see us.It's an excellent operation with a very well trained staff and they have my stamp of approval. I strongly encourage my friends to give them a try

As a multi dog family, I barely know where to begin with my gratitude for finding these doctors and staff. I appreciate their natural and holistic approach, not to mention the fact they are not like other vets who clearly chase as much money as they can. They are always reasonable and thoughtful about their recommendations. My most recent experience involved their incredible bedside manner as my almost 17 year old dog dealt with failing kidneys. No vet could have saved him, so we made the difficult but right choice for our dog and had him put to sleep under CVA’s care. That was a painful day last week but they were so good to me and my entire family as we grieved and said goodbye. Today - a week later I received a heartfelt handwritten message in the mail from every staff member who was there that day. Tears again. But even more gratitude that I have people like them to trust and help me care for our dogs. Aside from being great doctors and trustworthy business people, they are just good humans and it shows. Thank you to all of you.

Dr. Morgan changed everything for my pup Maddie. She had a long list of issues from digestion to skin irritation to bad hips. We struggled for quite some time. Other vets kept suggesting cures that were not working, and even at times made things worse. They wanted to put her through all kinds of expensive tests, that would have been emotionally scaring for my dog. Dr. Morgan is so knowledgeable, and treats Maddie dog with such kindness. She was able to diagnose all Maddie dog's issues, without all the stress, and put her on supplements and a diet that has made Maddie dog a happy new lady. The office staff at Clayton are incredibly helpful and well organized as well. I am so happy to have found Dr. Morgan. I can never thank her enough.

The staff is friendly. Dr. Morgan is knowlegeable and compassionate. We wanted a holistic vet that wouldn’t push meds or shots. She provides a variety of safe alternatives for our Havanese dog. She also diagnosed his chicken allergy, and it completely changed our lives. He is so much healthier and stronger now that he avoids all chicken products (chicken is in so many dog foods and treats). We highly recommend Clayton Veterinary Associates.

Thank you for promptly squeezing me in for an appointment and successfully treating my dog's sudden neck injury. Zoe and are I so blessed. 5 stars isn't good enough.

I have never had a negative issue with anyone at Clayton. I have been to several vets in South Jersey, and thus far, they have been the best and most consistent. I am not sure why someone was complaining about their service as I have never had anyone treat me negatively there. I have three cats and go there frequently. I have called for questions and services and was never given the runaround.

Very compassionate veterinary office. They don't overdo the testing unless you want it so you're not spending hundreds of dollars you may not have. The doctors are very knowledgeable and caring as are the techs. Our Jake was in good hands right up to the end. I highly recommend them.

I went to traditional vets who kept misdiagnosing my dog , one vet informed me that my dog will need expensive tests and surgery. In addition, some traditional vets kept prescribing mitronidazol (antibiotic) for a dog with severe diarrhea, and vomiting. He had this on a weekly basis by the time I had a telephone consultation with Dr. Morgan. she looked at his medical records, had discussions with me about his condition , I sent her a video of his episodes and she immediately diagnosed him. The food change, supplements worked! I was amazed , what a difference. It has been about 4 months since his last episode. Dr. Morgan is amazing.

Very friendly and professional people from the veterinarian technicians to Dr. Morgan herself. Talked us thru Cali's exam and followup treatment plan in a friendly manner. This office is also doing the leg work for Cali's PT. Highly recommend.

I brought my pug to this doctor for basically his whole life. We were in repeatedly for ongoing yeast/bacterial infections in his ears. Every time, they would clean his ears and give me an antibiotic to clear the infection but that was it. They never came up with a solution to stop the infections from coming. So i did some googling and found out these infections could be caused by a food allergy and i could try changing the protein in my dogs food. His food was chicken so i switched to a duck/potato food and his ear infection didnt come back after that. They could have easily recommended changing his food but never even mentioned that to me. In his older years, he also developed a bad cough. I brought him in for testing and they ended up doing an xray and found a bladder stone. They basically said he was fine so long as the stone doesnt move and block him and in my opinion, made it seem like it was a likely possibility that it would stay there and i didnt really think anything of it, until a few days ago when my dog mostly stopped peeing. I took him to urgent care pet check where they did xrays to check for the blockage and of course, the stone was blocking him. They also heard him cough and asked if he was on any heart medications because the cough could be a sign of congestive heart failure and said that his heart did look a little enlarged. Clayton never mentioned that to me or suggested his cough could be a sign of that. For his cough, they gave me cough tabs that i told them did nothing and after that, they did nothing else to help it. The urgent care recommended i bring him to mt laurel animal hospital because the stone would need to be removed. Because Curly was so old and his heart/lungs weren't so healthy, he wasn't able to do the surgery and we had to make the decision the put him down because he couldn't live comfortably without the surgery. After the fact, Ive thought about it and realized there are foods developed to dissolve stones, even the doctor at mt. laurel said that is a possibility but it would be too late to try because dissolving could take weeks. All though the foods don't work on all stones, i cant help but think maybe if clayton had at least recommended i try it and didnt brush the stone off as nothing, i could have tried the food and he might still be here today. I do not recommend you bring your pet here, but if you need to, please dont be afraid to google and ask questions.

Audrey was patient and kind, got us into the office right away. Dr. Morgan was positive and optimistic about Mac's recovery. After a jump off the couch, Mac became paralyzed on his right side. Two visits later, Mac is walking again!! Words cannot express our gratitude. We highly recommend Dr. Morgan!! Thank you so very much.

About four weeks ago I requested a consult at Clayton Veterinary Associates. I was told that I had to complete it on the practices webpage. When I was given that instruction I was told I would hear back within one week. I completed the request. After about five or six days I had not heard. I called, I was told that the person who handles this type of appointment had not been at work for several days and, I would hear shortly. I waited another five or six days, I called. I was told that the person who handles these appointments was not in but, I would receive a call shortly. I waited a few more days, I had not heard, I called again, I asked for the practice manager. She then schedule an appointment. She asked if I had my dogs medical records. I stated my best friend had been treated at the University of Pennsylvania veterinary hospital. She told me they would request the records. We scheduled an appointment for seven days in the future. I next received a call confirming the appointment. Then I received a call 2 1/2 hours before the appointment, while traveling from New York City, telling me they needed my assistance getting the University of Pennsylvania veterinary hospital the release the records. I canceled the appointment because I was so angry that they waited until the last moment to notify me, If the University of Pennsylvania did not cooperate I have driven three hours for the appointment and not have the medical records. They were so incompetent of that I cannot recommend them, If they cannot accomplish simple things, it brings into question the competence of the practice.

We took our 10-year-old toy fox terrier there for a spleen operation in the morning. At two o'clock we were told everything went "fine". When we picked him up they gave him to us in a comatose state and said that he was just "tired".When we got home and placed him on the couch to rest, he gave out a few breaths. We took him to emergency and there he was declared dead. These "vets" said he had probably had a stroke or a blood clot. So everything had NOT gone "fine".If you want this horror story to happen to your pet, we highly recommend Clayton Veterinarian Associates.

They care more about pushing their holistic bs and belief over the animal. I am sure some people think they are great, but I am sure their pet is alive. I lost mine over a common disease in the breed I wasn’t aware of but a vet certainly should have been. Reconsider.

Go somewhere else. They really over charge. After a 300.00 office visit that only included blood work, they gave me an estimate of 1100 to 1400 to have two teeth removed and the rest cleaned and a possibility of surgery on my dogs ear. Evesham Veterinary Clinic only charged me 384 which included an office visit, cleaning of teeth ( no Teeth removal or ear surgery needed) and two vaccinations.A friend took his dog there and they wanted 2500 to remove some fatty cyst. The sores had opened up and the poor dog really needed help. Delaware Veterinary did the job for under 900.We all want to care for our animals. It’s ashamed Clayton veterans don’t make it easier for us to do so.

THIS HAS TO BE THE WORST PLACE TO BRING YOUR PET! Let me start off by saying i brought in my yorkie displaying signs of that of an inner ear infection, shaking of the head drooling on one side of the mouth, sweet smell coming from the top of the ear vision seem to be off bumping into walls. The total visit was a joke! she disregard the symptoms i told her and blamed it on old age and prescribed him drops for conjunctivitis because his eyes were red. I call back two days later as the symptoms are the same not worst but he continues to shake his head and drool on the side of the suspected ear infection. She explained to me his ears were fine but insist " what can i do for you", because i found nothing wrong with his outter ear, this has to be the slowest Vet i have came in contact with in all my 41 yrs....She refuse to prescribe him inner ear infection medicine because she can't see the inner ear and i would have to take him to a neuro specialist..... WARNING!!!!!please avoid this place .
