The Lacey ShopRite Deli just gives you whatever they feel like. Order salami? Get cappicola. Order turkey? Get ham. Get a half a pound? Here’s a 1/4. How hard is it to read the screen and put the items in the bag. This occurs so often it’s actually mind boggling. It even says on the package what’s supposed to be inside and they still put a totally different product in there. Next time I’ll just go behind the counter and do it myself I guess.

I am all for self check out but you really should keep a few lanes open for express checkout as well, way too much stuff outside that you can’t get through and the carts are always all over the parking lot which was never an issue when you needed a quarter. Love the manager’s specials! You never know what you’re going to find. Some of the cashiers could really use some help with their customer service skills.

Lacey ShopRite delivery service, which they charge you for, is terrible. Just doesn’t show up. Customer service can’t help at all on delivery issues. Very poor shopping experience.

FLORAL DEPARTMENT (WEDDING REVIEW)ShopRite florist are outstanding! I am not really into the whole flower thing and it was not a main priority for our wedding day, but when I heard that ShopRite florist did wedding bouquets, I jumped right on it. Their pricing is very reasonable and communication was professional. I ended up just getting 9 bouquets and 2 boutonnieres and 1 corsage and they all came out beautiful. Pick up was super easy and how they were packaged was just outstanding. We were expecting them to be in cardboard boxes or something simple, but each bouquets was individually packed in their own beautiful bag with handles and in a glass vase to keep them alive! We were very impressed.

I have had enough of the terrible attitude and unprofessionalism of the cashiers and self-checkout attendants at this location.This is the third time this week that I have had to deal with their rudeness. The first time, I was using a register that apparently was being cleaned by one of the cashiers. She kept making comments and talking back to me when I explained that she should have put up a sign.I am tired of their disrespectful behavior and lack of helpfulness. Just half an hour ago, an employee berated me because I needed assistance entering a vegetable into the system due to my dyslexia. When I told her I couldn't spell cucumber she said, "Wow, you really can't spell cucumber?"This is absolutely unacceptable, and I will not tolerate this kind of treatment. I will be sharing my experience online and taking further action to ensure that this issue is addressed.

I know the ShopRite is too far from me but I come especially to see Tara. I go on self scan and she helps me with everything. I ask many questions and I need a help for everything and she is the best!! ShopRite Pharmacy located inside the Forked River/Lacey ShopRite has an excellent staff, they are friendly, polite and knowledgeable. The staff has always helped with any questions and concerns I had about medication prescribed to me. The wait is never long and I really appreciate them. The manager is an amazing person and is really good at her job. Thank you for your help. I appreciate you.

Ordered deli online, went shopping and then to the deli at time it said it would be done and nothing. Waited 20 more minutes and still nothing. Decided to get presided due to long wait. Then tried self checkout and was stopped and told I had to go wait in another lane. Never again!

A very nice food shopping store. They have a great selection of meats, bakery and seafood. There frozen food selection is huge. Friendly staff.

The store is clean, convenient, and easy to access for those with disabilities. They also have motorized carts for use, in the store, without cost. They do have some good sales. The workers here are very service oriented. The pharmacy staff is very helpful. I like that you no longer need quarters to use a cart.

The new owners are not providing us with the brands we like. Goods are molded 2 days after purchase and way too much "extra goods" being sold instead of food and cleaning items. Trying to compete with Walmart doesn't work. Do better for your customers please. We have high standards from the previous owners. Disappointed 😔

Terrible and getting worse every week. The new owners are cutting corners anyway they can and the customers are suffering for it. A couple of months ago, I wanted to purchase a birthday cake with strawberries and the strawberries on top of the cake were MOULDY! I bought a different cake and it was frozen, meaning that cake was baked, frozen, and stored for who knows how long. One bag of potatoes I bought had and extremely strong smell of ammonia when I opened it and the potatoes were GREEN. Another bag I bought had nothing but bruised and rotten potatoes in it. A third bag had extremely dirty potatoes along with a rotten potato. Frozen shrimp sold under the "Bowl and Basket" brand were mushy and inedible. My favorite brand of good quality olive oil is no longer carried, nor is the deodorant I use. (very common brand and type) Lastly, I was shopping yesterday and the person who pulls the food off the shelves for the shop at home orders was PICKING HIS NOSE while looking for the items in an order.

People who shop there should have noticed the new owners are raising the prices of everything. Permutter's sold so now we have to pay more for everything they sell. More for the Saker's, less for us. Walmart is looking better each day.

Since the new owners have taken over I have seen a huge decline in quality of the produce section and a drastic increase in prices. Unfortunately, I have to shop more at Target, Costco, Aldi, and Lidle, which unfortunately, do not have all the products I'm looking for in one place but I can definitely save more. I'm also shocked that they are not realizing that they are losing so many of their customers. It used to be a struggle to get a parking spot in there and it was mobbed in there. Now most of the time it's a ghost town compared the way it used to be.

I have been going to Lacey Shop Rite since it was on the other side of the mall at least 40 plus years. Since the new owner took over, poor low quality of items,freshness,dates and Sunday new sale items are never in stock and there is no one to help including poor management (items that I ask them about they don't know the product ,the managers before would order items for their customers)And workers attitudes are just as poor except a couple original workers who have always been good and 1 new young lady working Dearborn Farms up front who is a pleasure. I have complaints from today but I'm so fed up I'm just going to go to Acme in Barnegat fully stocked and professional workers.

The specials are great at shoprite. The catering is fantastic. The cakes are awesome the prices for the cakes are unbeatable. They do a phenomenal job.

In 30 years of marriage, we’ve only ever shopped at a ShopRite wherever we lived. We never had a problem with spoiled food until we moved into Lacey Township a year and a half ago. We’ve returned pork three times within a day of buying it as it smelled rancid. Many times milk and half and half expires a week before the last sale date. Spring mix in the plastic container lasts three days before spoiling, even when we put paper towels inside the container. We’ve already switched buying these items from another local store. If there was an Acme or Stop n Shop close by, we’d be switching over to them for all our groceries.

Editted from 3 stars to 1 star...***Customer Serive is terrible!***With the exception if cashiers, I've never seen an employee smile or be the least bit welcoming.I tried placing a catering order through their glitchy app without success. I called the store for assistance and to place the order over the phone. After being called "honey" in a very condescending tone, I was informed they only take orders from the app. After talking in circles, I hung up. I'll get my order elsewhere. I'm officially done with this Shop Rite. I'm signing back up with Peapod through Stop and Shop. Their produce is a better quality and their customer service is outstanding. ***I usually shop Tuesday mornings and never have a problem. Produce is fresh and fully stocked, cashiers are friendly and always offer to bag. Recently I had to do my shopping on a Monday evening and couldn't believe the difference! The produce was old and much was out of stock. I placed a deli order through the app while the deli was still open. They never filled my order. When I looked for it, the deli worker cleaning was rude and down right mean. After paying, I went to customer service to share my concerns and they couldn't care less. All I basically got was a shoulder shrug. I think I'll go back to ordering my groceries from Peapod. Their customier service is outstanding.

The layout of this store is excellent. But as I walked in I saw tomatoes for $1.59/lb. They looked a little bruised so I passed. Ten feet further was another bin of same type of tomato, same price, that were perfect. Confusing.All the other produce looked great. Lots of room in the aisles makes it easier to shop. This store gets an "A" for cleanliness. Everything on my list was easy to find. Just a short wait at checkout. The 4 was well earned. I would make it 5 if not for the tomatoes. Very nice store. Friendly and efficient checkout.

I’ve been shopping here for years and I’m not a satisfied customer any longer.I placed my deli order online because it takes far too much time if you choose to take a number and wait for your number to be called in store. I just came from picking up my deli order, on the bag, 1 item was circled and N/A was written next to it. Being new to this process I wasn’t sure what the item circled with the letters N/A meant. There were 2 deli workers behind the counter directly in front of me so I asked if they could explain the N/A? Both workers looked directly at me and then turned away. I was shocked! Shortly after another customer asked a question to one of the deli people, after he helped her I asked him what the circle and N/A meant, he explained the item was out of stock and my order was placed with no substitutions checked off. I looked and observed there were about a half dozen people waiting so I took my order, paid for it and went to the deli down the street to complete my order, no line there, and they even said thank you when I paid.Additionally, I always felt safe parking my car in the lot when you had to put 25 cents in to take a cart which was refunded when you returned the cart to its proper location. A couple of weeks ago when I came out from shopping I had a cart resting against the side of my car. It would be nice if Shoprite management would address these concerns to make shopping there a better experience.

I've been a loyal customer for 34 years. Shop rite has always been top rated. However, since the recent change over to new owners, things have drastically changed. I've been patient by allowing the excuse of covid to let things slide. What's your excuse now? Today the fish department stunk as well as the meat department .What's going on?

Check your expiration dates when buying food. Numerous of times I get home and it’s out dated by weeks to even a month, called them and they aren’t to worried about it cause it keeps happening. Shoperite fell off

Been shopping here since the 90's and have always been happy with the selection and service. However, customer service is gone. What's the point of going to a cashier if they won't help you bag? I've never minded bagging my own groceries but when the cashier is done swiping everything over the scanner and just stands there waiting for me to bag everything and the next person in line is looking at the cashier wondering why they're not helping me it's awkward for everyone. And yes, my bags are all in reach of the cashier as well.I only use self-checkout now because it makes more sense.

I am very disappointed that I custom cake I ordered via the app was prepared in the wrong color. White instead of violet. Completely wrong for the 80th birthday color scheme. My order clearly states violet and the bakery person acknowledged that but no decorator there to fix it. I could have bought a white cake from the display case gor half the price. BEWARE!!!

Overall, the Lacey store is the best of the three that are near my home. The produce is my biggest problem. There aren’t many vegetables/fruit that are grown in the U.S. We live in the Garden State and can’t get tomatoes from NJ or even the U.S.! Most of signage is incorrect. It may say U.S. but the labels say otherwise. I think the management can do better.

We used the home delivery service today for the first time. We used it out of necessity due to some medical issue's and was pleasantly suprised just how easy and convenient it was. The delivery guy could not have been nicer. Quick convenient and on time we will definitely be repeat customers. Thanks
