Pharmacy staff is rude, prescriptions take entirely too long. You could drop it off the day before they can’t say come back in the morning and it’s still not ready the next night. staff gets mad at you when you say you need your prescription.

I recently had the pharmacy where I was getting my meds from closed. All of the scripts were sent to Lanoka Harbor CVS. I have had nothing but pleasant people and experiences there. I do not plan on looking for another pharmacy. Very happy here.

When you have worked all day ..told your prescription would be ready if you can wait 90 min and agree cheerfully. Go and come back with a family at home and are told come back again in 40 min and you explain that you can't keep coming back and no one cares...it's rough.Then they get mad at you .., but you need the prescription it's rough.I know...but ..it's just not right ..who even knows if it will be ready

I was looking for a nearby CVS in tomsriver to get a covid booster. I searched for CVS near me, and they had an appointment for 12 pm. I was in and out of there, in 20 minutes! The pharmacist was great, and no one was ahead of me! Easy peasy! Other CVS appointments were late in the day or the next day! Thank you! I would recommend it!

Pharmacy staff here is incredibly rude. I understand you’re busy, but that is NOT a customers fault or problem. The attitude is so unnecessary, let alone answering the phone and making the customer feel like they did something wrong by simply using your pharmacy to fill a prescription. Get it together or don’t work customer service.

Jesse was so friendly and helpful, even at 10pm. I wanted to keep to myself to not be a bother, but he insisted on helping me and made me feel like I wasn’t a bother at all :) I’ve been plenty of places where I felt like I was annoying the employees just by asking them to ring me up!

I have to say....CVS has been my go to pharmacy for years and I'm usually not happy with their customer service. CVS in Lanoka Harbor is the exception!! Everyone is attentive and pleasant. Haven't had a single bad experience. No idea why ratings are low. This location rocks!!!

I went to the drive through this evening, and it was closed. Unfortunately, I was unable to walk, so I called to ask if someone would help me. They refused, put me on hold, and ignored me. I banged on the window to get them to please answer the phone, but each time they did, Heather was nasty and refused to help me. I begged for them to just send someone outside. I had tried to pick up my prescription the day before, and they were also closed. I needed this medication this evening, as I was in withdrawal (not an opioid).Finally, in tears, I CRAWLED in the rain into the store. The sweetest manager and cashier out front got me a chair, took my information, and got my prescription for me while I was humiliated. This is not the first issue I've had with this pharmacy, as they actually gave me the wrong medication once. I will be calling the corporate store once I get the name of the pharmacist on duty, the man who let his supposed only person back there handle this instead of stepping in himself. Thank goodness that there were people in the front of the store willing to help. This is not healthcare. I work in healthcare, and not helping someone who badly needs a medication when there were people willing to help, is not healthcare. Please go into research instead.

The “manager” Jesse was the rudest person I could ever seen, he reinterred “as I said…” not offering another suggestion for my inquiry, while cvs at beachwood the have done that for me before. It is ashamed that store is not stocked but now I know why…. Management is not helping I would’ve put 1 start but the lady in the cashier was the one helping smoothing down the situation.

Completely unacceptable. The workers in the pharmacy are nice, however it is 45- 60 mins every time I call just to get someone on the phone. And they are constantly screwing up prescriptions.

Confused about how the ratings are so low. This is by far the sweetest and most helpful staff at a major pharmacy that I've ever experienced. You can tell they work very hard to provide the best service that their systems allow. They are always crazy busy but very helpful and kind.

Some workers are friendly but alot are not they are no where near my cvs in Florida when it comes to welcoming or friendly. The pharmacy has been a hot mess every month with my meds! This staff needs retraining there is one young man in pharmacy that was amazing when I needed help about a new script. In Florida the pharmacist would talk to you if there was any issues here I have never talked to pharmacist its like they don't exist. Am considering changing pharmacy after being with cvs pharmacy for over 20 years due to the store here.

I've never had a major issue. The Pharmacist knows me and many customers by name. She always ask about your family and children. If they are out of a med and will be more then a day (normally call refill before completely out) they call or if I can tell they are majority busy (not hard to see if eyes are open and you're considerate like a person) I will say 'I see you guys are very busy is it OK if call around for you guys?' Like I said they are awesome staff and pleased. Reminds me of the very small Pharmacy on the small town in lived in when I was younger. The front part of the store nice people too.

I’ve never actually seen a standing business with 2.5 stars but this one makes sense. I felt sick and even though I’m vaccinated I wanted to do the right thing and get tested. The sign in the vestibule says “Need a covid test? Pull around and call the number on the sign” I pulled around to the pharmacy and a (very) young blonde girl with glasses simply greeted me by saying “yes?” And I said I was hoping to get tested “do you have an appointment” I said no sorry, I thought the sign implied that I just pull around. She looks mildly disgusted “no.” she says.. just no? I said okay well how can I get one? She rolls her eyes “you have to make an appointment” I gathered that.. I’m starting to get upset and ask okay can you be a little more helpful? Because when I call the pharmacy you’d rather have me deal with 5 different virtual assistants than answer the phone and field these questions before I’m at your drive thru.. she replies “CVS.com” GREAT. Thanks so much. Having covid isn’t some moral failure. Tell your pharmacists to stop being visibly disgusted and shooing away people who need help with no regard. I have been disappointed by this location many times, and this interaction finally compelled me to write about it because I was embarrassed by your staff for absolutely no reason.

This pharmacy is frequently out f the medication my son takes regularly. We have his Rx filled every 30 days. Not every time, but very often, we are told that they are out of stock when we need to fill the Rx and have to wait a couple of days for them to replenish inventory. When I've asked if they can call around and see if they can find the medication at another location, I am told they are very busy. Well, I am very busy too, but I'm not asking them to do MY job, I'm only asking that they do theirs. When I ask why they are out, they say that they are not supposed to carry too much inventory. Too much and not enough to fill the Rx are two different things. I complain to them about this month after month and nothing changes. It is dangerous for my son to skip doses of his medication, and he can have very serious complications if he skips doses. It can only be filled every 30 days, so I can't "advance plan" and have it filled ahead of time before he runs out. This is very frustrating.

Horrible blonde in pharmacy!This has always been my choice of stores..not anymore.. She was BEYOND RUDE & then when she tried to change her tune & check the shelves, which I already did..she didn't even know where cough syrup was! One person was walking around back & came to my window, but Blondie said No. Another young man was standing at drive thru window so they were not being slammed.With all the drug stores here I will never step foot in here again..nor will ever recommend it..But I will tell people about the rude pharmacy creature!

Not even worth 1 star worst cvs ever save yourself the time and trip they are completely RUDE and NASTY TO CUSTOMERS. They lie and say you cant fill a script untill a certain time but guess what my insurence decides that not you. Insurence companies allow 3 days early so dont say I cant pick up my medicine when my insurance allows that you are not doctors stop acting like you are. Do yourself a favor remember these are not doctors or insurance companies. Stop holding people medicine untill u feel is fit. Let's not forget the half hour wait in dribe threw

They don't have much but the staff is very nice. Was looking for a juice box of any kind and they didn't have any. They only have one type of saline nasal spray (CVS brand ) and I like the arm and hammer mist one but they don't have it. Their bottled water is the most expensive I've seen anywhere. Better off going to Walgreens or rite aid this place barely has the essentials and seems much more expensive then the competition.

Drive in pharmacy always takes forever. If someone is having a problem they should b told to come inside to straighten it out!! The text message saying your Rx is ready never tells u what is for! Just gives a bunch of letters! Why not just say your Crestor, example is ready! What’s the deal with the secret numbers! Staff is very nice but theirvsystem needs work!!

These women who work there are professional and take the time out to let me know what I need to know. I appreciate it and recommend this pharmacy to all! Parents,our kids meds are done ASAP!! Drive through is a plus!

Every time I've bought milk from there it's been curdled like they left it out unrefrigerated. Bought chocolate just today and I opened it and the fat had separated out of it. It's all expired

Slow as possible. Pills or cream from the pharmacy take ridiculously long time. They say your medication will be done at a time and you go back an hour late and tell you another hour. Horrible pharmacy

Lousy,in Many ways.Refills meds without asking(money for them)Wouldnt let me pick up medicine because they had only a partial amount(SOOOO?)I had to forgo medice for 2 days because of this.RIDICULOUS.Looked up hours and said open went there there not .Surprise.Lousy.
