I love this place. We happened upon it because of their live music Sundays (09/23), and we will return anytime we're in town.Vegan chickpea sandwich A+Layered Tea / Lemonade A+Coffee ☕ A+Vegan brownie A+There is a little area with gifts near the bathroom, which was clean and cheerful. What else would you ask for?Their atmosphere is kindness.(good slogan --- free gratis)

I stopped in for a coffee, but ended up getting a Tropical Smoothie and the Veggie sandwich. the smoothie was fresh, naturally sweetened by fruits; and the sandwich was great— it had roasted red peppers, pesto, mozzarella, and balsamic reduction.it was a bit confusing when I walked in, no one greeted me as they were talking to other customers. one guy said I can ask questions so I tried placing my order and was told to go to the other side of the counter to order. a sign would’ve been helpful? idk maybe I missed it.Overall good experience and great food, I’d definitely stop in there again.

What a welcoming coffee shop. The staff is very friendly, helpful and willing to make good suggestions if you want to try something new. The baked goods are delicious and the shop has some really unique items like this cocktail mixer and all natural bug repellent. I highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area.

Top top coffee and atmosphere with really friendly staff. Great little addition to Lambertville and I will be back many many times.Edit: just to add, I’ve been back here dozens of times now and it’s easily the best coffee place in the area. Coffee is fantastic, baked goods are consistently good, and the atmosphere and service are just fantastic.

This is a lovely cafe and the espresso is top notch. If you want real espresso in any of its manifestations, this is your place. The caveat is, apparently, to get your espresso before the start of the last hour of the day there. I recently stopped in around 4:00 on day where Union closes at 5:00. It was busy, but not overly so, and we got a nice table by the window. When I heard my drink called, I went up to the counter and was handed my cortado in a paper cup. Thinking this was a mistake, (everyone sitting around was drinking from ceramic cups, and there was a pile of fresh ceramic cups on top of the espresso machine) I offered that I had not ordered to go. I was told that "after four, we only use paper cups to spare the dishwasher." This is disappointing (and also odd), as the quality of the espresso is so good that it made the taste of the paper cup all that more present. As a friend put it, would a restaurant suddenly start serving on paper plates simply because it was the last hour they were open? One would bet not. Why people who order in the last hour are not permitted the same experience of the espresso, not afforded the same experience as people who paid for the same thing just minutes earlier, is not clear at all. It used to be that businesses were open, then did the clean up after closing. Very disappointing for such outstanding espresso. If you go, be sure to get there in time to not only order, but to receive, you espresso before the beginning of the closing hour. If I'd wanted my espresso in a paper cup, I would have ordered it to go.

Stopped by for a mid day pick me up. I love matcha because coffee hurts my tummy. I got an iced matcha latte with lavender and vanilla syrup. Would 111000% recommend!

This place is GREAT! I love the rotating food options. Solid high quality drinks of all kinds. Wonderful lively crowd / people watching. Adorable unique gifts in the back. CLEAN. I also love how the owner cares so much and is so hands on. What a legit establishment!!!

Baristas definitely take pride in their work.I go out of my way to the bicycle shop in Lambertville, Pure Energy Cycling.I drop my Orbea off for excellent service and always hike over to Union Coffee. It never disappoints!

Good location and pleasant décor as well as staff. This was my second time there. My wife enjoyed a mocha and my daughter liked her chai latte as well (although the latter came from a box). However, I found the expresso lacking. The barista technique was competent so I have to chalk it up to whatever roasted bean they used. It was more bitter than an authentic espresso, even a dark roast. So, I'd recommend for coffee, or a mixed beverage but not a good option for a straight expresso.

Best local coffee shop, great relaxed vibe and the best quiche I’ve ever had. The staff is super friendly. The owner has created a phenomenon favorite with the locals. Their coffee is rich and smooth, and they have a surprisingly large variety of foods so breakfast or lunch is easy to find something I like or become my regular favorite.

They also have some great savory food options, which is perfect when I'm sitting in the cafe for hours and need actual sustenance. This place will absolutely become your favorite!

We love visiting this coffee spot! The oat milk coffee drinks are on point, and they always have a good selection of baked goods. The vegan chocolate chip cookies are 🔥🔥. The space has good vibes and the employees are super kind. Lastly, I appreciate the small, carefully curated selection of gifts and home goods.

I've never been to a coffee shop that serves a London Fog, and after trying it, it seems like a mistake. Usually a coffee drinker, and usually drink my coffee black, but I make the exception for this drink.Definitely a nice place, prices like you'd expect for the area, and a nice little outdoor seating spot. I always see people sitting out there chatting and never fail to see people stop on their walks to talk to a friend who they happened upon at the coffee shop.Their menu items are refreshing, definitely things you'd expect from a coffee shop, but at the same time not items you'd think of to put on a menu. I found myself wondering "why don't more coffeeshops have this?" Really sets them apart in that sense.

Awesome, awesome coffee shop! It really shows when the owner is there almost all the time! Taking the time to get to know your customers is a HUGE deal in my opinion. I love that they source small crafted and we'll made products to compliment the delicious coffee! Be sure to try the overnight oats, soups and homemade egg salad. Such a beautiful experience everytime I pop by Union Coffee! P.S. They now serve MILKSHAKES!!

My new chill spot!The quality is exceptional. Right down to the oat milk brand. No detail is skimped upon. The owner is not only quite involved but also welcomes questions and wait for it...without giving the impression of being put upon.I'm thrilled for this fresh breath of space.
