I've been there a few times and I had no problems as when the barber was done with the client and he said next now I went there and 2 men were getting their hair cut and than came in 4 people and the barber called a name so I had to wait and then I spoke my mind and he said it's busy they had appointments so I went to my car and the barber came out and said if I wanted a haircut and I said I didn't make an appointment and didn't want a mad man cutting my hair and went to Toms River and got my haircut

Great if you like judgemental people that have the nerve to tell you you can't sit peacefully and do something legal on the very "Public" sidewalk, which apparently, they THINK they own. Speaks volumes imo. But do you. And if you go, the dude on the left is really good.

Owner Craig at the Lakehurst Barber shop has been cutting the hair of the men in my family since 1999. Craig is an artist, efficient and a master at his craft. No where else can you get the precision flat top haircut that Craig does. All the police and military men come here for haircuts. Craig and his staff create a jovial atmosphere and his newly updated establishment is a comfortable, clean and delightful place to visit. You are making a mistake if you get your hair cut anywhere else.

I’m active duty Navy on an I-Stop here at Lakehurst and just had a fantastic experience at the Lakehurst Barber Shop. My hair was cut by Roger and he did a phenomenal job. His attention to detail is on point and I couldn’t have asked for a better cut. My only complaint, and I’m splitting hairs here (no pun intended), is that they do not take cards. Not a big deal because the VFW across the street has an ATM. I would just recommend that the owner look into square card reader and you can easily take payments with a cell phone. Regardless, it was a great experience and I would definitely make this my normal spot if I was stationed here. Thank you, Gentlemen! 🇺🇸

I've been getting my hair cut here since before I could walk; always loved these guys! Craig, Frank, Charlie, Kurt and more were all some of the greats I've gotten to meet over the course of my life, but whether some stayed and some left over the years, this place has never disappointed. Craig runs a tight ship. If efficiency was a person, it would be him. Keeps the place clean, respects the past of the establishment while still welcoming the new, usually has a good story or two to tell and always makes you feel welcome. Everyone does in fact. Never a bad time here!

Very pleasant barbers. Listened to request concerning how I wanted my haircut. Results are good.Have used this barbershop for over a year now. Craig and Frank are masters at their craft. Always leave with a haircut exactly as requested. One of the best I've experienced in my lifetime.Frank now retired.Craig and Roger are excellent barbers. Was in a panic because my normal barber wouldn't accommodate me at a late notice even though I was a loyal customer and tiped well and always gave a Xmas tip. All I was asking was 15 min of his time. Best cut I have had, pays attention to detail, friendly conversations, takes service back to the day where everyone is friendly and attentive. I drive over an hour just for a cut, waited over 3 months during this Covid thing to make an appointment, man was my hair long. Worth the wait.

I use Lakehurst Barber because the people there are very friendly and great hairstylist they're not just a barbershop the owner is very meticulous . He buys the latest equipment and is very articulate when it comes to cutting hair have a great time talking to these guys very knowledgeable and very easy-going atmosphere.
