Heather is absolutely amazing she personally helped me out with a situation concerning a receipt so my husband wouldn't have any issues with his military travel card and I absolutely thank her so much and glad she works at this location now she is a really hard worker and I hope she is appreciated at work

Clean, very helpful and polite.Well how things have changed, they just lost a lot of money because they couldn't ring us up while three employees sat stuffing their faces with pizza and wanted us to wait while our frozen items melted and then proceeded to follow us out of the store screaming at us not to come back to the store, not a problem, I wouldn't ever walk in their door again!!!! No stars for this establishment. Way to keep your customers happy.

This store looks much better since the redo but the customer service still sucks. Their prices at checkout rarely match the price on the shelf. When you mention it the manager she always gets an attitude and makes you feel awful. I only go here when I am in a pinch. Definitely not my first choice. There are a few cashiers who are friendly, but management is another story.

Its odd, this is a friendly dollar general, however if I get more than 5 bags of stuff, one of the bags doesn't get into the cart. They never try to catch me or make sure I have my stuff, and I'm tired of being robbed by this store. Its fine, I'll go someplace else, its just a shame, for all the friendliness I thought they would help more.

Most of the Employees are nice & helpful. The layout I feel is overcrowded which makes it appear unkept. I think in comparison to other Dollar Generals in the Area perhaps a team spirit environment may help. As I said most employees are nice & helpful when approached but almost every one seems sad almost. As a former manager for over 20+yrs My suggestion is Team Leadership & Appreciate Your Employees.

Three pigs would rather eat pizza than help the line of people waiting to check out. I would NEVER go back to those rude pig women.I hope the realize there are Dollar General Stores every 2 miles. LOL!! Eat up piggies..

I used to love coming into this store, because of the affordability and location. I do think that the new layout is promising, how ever, the consistent long lines waiting at the checkout is ridiculous. I feel so bad for the cashier having no one there to use the other register to a levitate the long waiting line. There are no mangers to be found to assist with this, and everytime I seem to go into the store, the lines become longer and longer. Something needs to be done. I think this new layout idea might have been something that wasn't properly thought out, since they can't seem to hire enough people.

I brought my stuff up to the counter to check out and put my stuff on the counter, the girl did not even say hello or anything, started scanning my stuff,i put it in the bag, I had to look at the screen to find out what my total was and after I was done taking my card out of the machine she was busy texting on her cell phone while I was standing there waiting for my receipt and then handed me my receipt after 2 minutes I did not even say goodbye or anything no acknowledgement at all! Terrible customer service

I have to update this and changed it to two stars ( it was five stars) the cashier was extremely rude. I was trying to look at reusable shopping bags they weren't even close to the register but they were between the security scanner when you walk in the door and the counter she very rudely said you're not allowed back there. she will get one for you. Well no because I was trying to see what different designs they had on them so I said nevermind I won't get one at all. She proceeded to have a bad attitude when she waited on me I felt like leaving my stuff and just walking out. Managers need to tlpay attention to these reviews because one visit lost the store a 5-star rating

People were not friendly. The manager and 3 people stood in the back talking about something while one women that was grouchy did the register. Their prices are like Stop and shop now. There never any bread or milk. People rob that store always.

I love this store. You can find stuff you need like coffee and cat litter laundry things etc with out going to the big stores and the prices are very good. You can't do your regular food shopping but it's good for general things you need.

What a shame this used to be a good store see a lot of upper management leaning hanging out in front of the store. Thank God they put that self-checkout there there's one person who works there is very grumpy and ask too many personal questions. I hope things turn around staff wise.

All the employees were extremely helpful with a very pleasant attitude . Everyone had a big smile on and was pleasant . The best experience I ever had at any one of your locations from Jersey to Florida . The only one I will go to now . The location in whiting us terrible , always filthy and unorganized with boxes all over the store . And the employees there are rude and nasty . Night and day

A lot of items are out of stock often. Also, they are extremely under staffed, so they will close at 330pm. I've never seen this before at any store.

Good prices. Often sale items are out of it low on stock. Sometimes it looks like black Friday with stuff strewn about by customers. Dollar General has a little but of everyday items less expensive than supermarkets.

They renovated this place and it looks and smells clean like a hospital waiting room, such clean. It took me 15 minutes to find cough drops but I found the good ones. Ricola taste like honey lemon tea without the tea.

Open till 10pm and it had a revolving door when it comes to employees and management. This location has new management which has been doing a good job keeping the store up to par but manager needs to stay on top of the vendors to keep products stocked

This specific Dollar General store is very messy! There is always tons of boxes in the isles. It gets annoying when you have to maneuver your way around the store. However, they do have a large selection to choose from and alot of name brand products as well. Prices are great!!

I'm not sure which Dollar General that is posted here I've been to 2 of them in the past week, I have given 2 stars to the Bricktown store. It never fails Everytime I walk into that store there is a line only this time the comments made by the cashier/store manager I believe we're unnecessary and just really upset me! When you have 2 cashier's on and have a line there's a problem with the training that was given. The other cashier is fairly new a few months and still does not know how to work the register! So how about not putting them on register until the cashier knows what he/or she r doing,put a more experienced cashier on and don't tell customers oh well they are going to have to wait!! Really! I will not be going back to that store again!! That's not all that was said either!

Dollar general is a great place if you are on a budget and your money is limited. They have name brand items and also generic, a little bit of ever thing food , hair products and cleaning products. Give them a try.

Dollar General is where I shop for anything I need and they stock. Prices are FAB! YOU DON'T even need to compare. Clothing I DON'T buy as the quality isn't there. Things fall apart when laundered 4 of 5 times. On a budget, get your staples here. They differ from store-to-store in larger stores more inventory and options.ONE NOTE: NO RAIN CHECKS

I was in the lakehurst store today and no matter what time of day it is there is always a long line in there and 1 register open the cashier never calls for help either I'm always standing in line for at least 15 minutes or longer just to pay for a couple of items, i try not to go there much instead i go to the whiting store whenever possible, they get lines too nut at least they call for help and open up another register to get the line down.

they are always out of what I need or there are carts of merchandise in the middle of the aisles. they should consider having the stick person come in a little before the store opens so the shelves aren't bare!

Really decent selection for a "dollar" store. It's not, but they have name brand products at near sale prices typically. They even carry frozen shrimp and salmon. I was shocked.

Don't confuse this Dollar Generalstore with Dollar Tree. Everything in this store is not a dollar. Some items may be 2, 3, 4 or 5 dollars. They do have a nice variety of products.

Great place to go for daily essentials. Clean environment as well as customer friendly. Plenty of parking can get a bit busy at times.

The isles are always clear and the shelves are full. Cashier's are nice but never have I seen a manager while there. (Unless the cashier's are the managers)?
