Bloodmoon Tattoo shop is honestly the best. I got a few tattoos there since they opened last year. Absolutely no regrets they look awesome. I get compliments all the time. The shop is super clean which was what caught my eye immediately. The artist Darren was really friendly and helped guide me in choosing designs that would look good on my body and what would hold up in the long term. Darren is super professional and has decades of experience. My tattoos are absolutely gorgeous and I'm totally addicted and will be coming back! I can't thank them enough for the beautiful artwork on my body. My appreciation is beyond words

I just got my first tattoo done here, and I was incredible impressed with Darren, Jen and the shop. My friend, who is a nurse, got one too and she was very impressed with the hygiene standards and cleanliness of the shop. Darren's talent and experience are evident, and he goes of his way to make you feel comfortable and give you a great experience. Jen is very helpful, and a great asset! The prices were reasonable, too! I can't think of anything but praise for Darren and Blood Moon Tattoo!

I made an appointment and the female that opened the door didn't even greet me. She gave me an attitude and was annoyed that I was there. I had an appointment! During my appointment with Darren, I was not asked to come in or sit down to discuss what I wanted. I kept getting rushed and didn't get passed the entrance. What's the point on having a nice couch there? While I kept pushing to describe what I wanted, the female employee kept rolling her eyes and getting more annoyed! I didn't immediately leave because I wasn't intending on getting a tattoo with her. My interaction with Darren was not bad as he did shared advice on what will work best and his ideas gave me insight on what to get done. His ideas were good but I couldn't get passed the money part. He kept repeating that it would take time and money. And I agreed! But he couldn't advice me what the next step would be. I was hoping to book another appointment with a sample design of what I decided to get done and discuss it one more time and book the tattoo appointment. If money is what it would take for a second appointment before booking the tattoo, I would've paid for a second consultation if treated with professionalism! A tattoo is a permanent mark in my body, be patient!

If you haven’t gotten tattooed by Darren I don’t know what you’re waiting for. I’ve been going to Darren for the past 6 years. I’m a heavily tattooed woman and he’s done 85% of my work (including two cover ups). I go back to Darren and no one else because he’s the best at what he does, he goes out of his way to make sure his clients are in a clean comfortable environment, and mostly because he actually cares about his clients and what they want.I know how hard he’s worked to get Blood Moon up and running. If you’re looking for an amazing piece you need to check him out. He’s an amazing artist and person!

After initially being happy with the work done by Darren, I was shocked to be told that any fixing of obvious bleed over after healing was my responsibility to pay to fix. I’m not new to getting ink and definitely have never been told I’m a difficult customer. But when you design a piece with negative space throughout and can see clearly color in that space, it’s the artist who should show professionalism to make the customer happy in my opinion. Total piece was completed in 4.5 hours and now I am stuck with this piece or find an artist with more integrity. Buyer bewareService: Tattoos

I found out my piercer is going to Blood Moon and I am very excited to share my experience. Max (@max_kosten on Instagram) is a great piercer, his work is admired and he’s very knowledgeable about piercings. My tragus healed within two weeks which was amazing because a majority of my piercings done by others took a lot longer for the swelling to go down due to inappropriate jewelry. I feel reassured and very happy with my piercing thanks to Max for his great work and ability to keep me comfortable. I highly recommend him, he’s a great piercer with friendly customer service. I can not wait to book with him again.

What a joke. Outline is horrible, out of the lines like a child coloring in a coloring book. Uneven, dots out of the lines see images I uploaded here of the Triskelion tat on leg (3 spiral circles). Please don’t waster your time and money. Again, the tattoo speaks for itself In the images here in this review. Now I will have to pay to get it fixed, honestly a joke.
