Super nice owner and such a gorgeous shop! And there's llamas and alpacas on the grounds!!Loads of spinning fiber and notion, lots of mass produced yarn and *tons* of awesome yarn hand dyed by Rose.

I went to the yarn shop at Alma park and I was so happy with this yarn shop. Rose was so friendly and knowledgeable. She helped me pick out yarn for the blanket I want to make. She made me feel so welcomed and answered all my questions. I was so impressed with her shop and definitely will be back again.

This shop is a cozy and crafty hidden gem! I recently got into Needlefelting, and decided to finally check this shop out. What a DREAM it turned out to be! They had everything you need to get started, and more. Needles, needle pens, mats, wool of all kinds, tinsels, even tools to help you shape and flatten wools. The wool is so so so soft, and felts like a dream. Please skip big box stores and come here instead, I have compared wool from both, and Alma park blows them out of the water with quality! Alma park has soft and easy to use wools, and other places are hairy and difficult to felt. Also, Alma Park has an incredible variety of colors and wool types! If Needlefelting isn't your thing, there are so many yarns of all varieties and colors. The yarns that the Owner hand-dyes are works of art in itself. She also has every kind of sewing tool and supplies you can think of. Cute buttons, pins, and accessories are fun to look at, too! There is something for everyone. I noticed local honey for sale, and my husband had a tough time choosing which hand-made soap he liked best (they were all irresistible!)The owner is super sweet, we had a great time chatting and she has many many years experience with a variety of crafting. She gave a lot of felting advice, which I very much appreciated! The shop is super clean and organized, has a beautiful cozy atmosphere, and makes you feel like you have teleported to the country or mountains. Of course, it's always nice to see the Llamas and Alpacas happily grazing outside, too! It's my new favorite place, I can't wait until I need more supplies so I can return and buy more goodies. Attached are purchases I made on my second visit. Do stop by and see this hidden gem for yourself! You can tell that lots of love went into this shop, and everything is super reasonably priced. I will only get my supplies form here from now on. Thank you!

Got to experience this beautiful shop! Wonderful selection of yarn, as well as many other notions! Unfortunately, you can’t visit the alpacas at this time. But I look forward to visiting again in the future and making some furry friends!

Excellent shop! Beautiful fibers in all kinds of colors and forms, I went In for knitting and crochet yarns and they were so helpful in answering all my questions about everything and showing me around the un spun fibers and such that I didn't recognize. Now I can't wait to try wet felting & needle felting too. There are so many fun gifts and accessories. Looking forward to becoming a regular.

I will never go anywhere else.As a weaver who started spinning to keep my hands busy after a move, I feel as though I got lucky by choosing this store. I got to skip many of the initial difficulties because:1) Rose is a genius2) The fiber produced by this store makes my hands itchy to start spinning more.3) Selection. You'll just never find a wider variety.4) Tussah like I have never seen before. Mohair I hoard like a dragon.5) Top comb that is actually top that has been combed. This is a strange compliment, I know, but I've purchased a lot of fiber before this that was labeled top. Here, the fibers are linear and organized and while that should be the case for anything sold as "top", I understood what that was supposed to mean after spinning with the fiber I bought here. Minimal predrafting; the fibers are parallel as they should be! End to end, no matted patches or surprise knots.I could go on, but I have bobbins to fill.

Wife was surprised and impressed. Great owner. Reasonable prices for own dyed yarn and others. Great selectionof yarns and yarn craft tools. Somewhat tricky entrance off Rt. 537 with a driveway sign then on to the store in an upgraded farm building about 200 yards in. Favorite local store for wife now, and does web or mail order, too.

I am so glad I came across this friendly and well-stocked shop tucked away on a farm! Besides beautiful yarn and high quality needles and notions, there are felting supplies and spinning fibers as well.

The owner Rose is incredible! Set back from the road but well marked, you are amazed at what you will find. I spent time asking questions and getting an idea of how to get back into the world of yarn. Right on route 537. Check it out if you have time!

Today was the first time coming to this particular knitting store. It took me close to an hour to get here, but I thought it would be fun. I walked in to a small group of woman knitting, with the owner. I started looking around and the woman came over to ask if I needed help. I said yes. I originally had come down to buy ALOT of NEW SUPPLIES to make an afghan for my daughter. I also had brought in something in with me (hat) that was ripped and I thought perhaps the woman could perhaps tell me the proper way to fix it. Immediately she looked appalled, and told me oh no I can’t do that, I looked up at her and she started rambling that if I wanted to fix it I WOULD NEED A LESSON. Also on the table there were copies of free patterns, which she had printed from the computer and made copies ....I though they were free. At that time she said “you can’t take that it’s for the store. It was at that moment I knew something was terribly wrong. I had explained to her as soon as I got there I had driven a long way.She was rude with an attitude that as a business owner .....one should NEVER HAVE.I immediately grabbed my things and said I’m going to leave and she mumbled something under her breath, which wasn’t nice. This is my FIRST REVIEW and would NEVER GO BACK!!!!It’s a shame. There are SO FEW knitting stores.Just for the record I did look around. Selection was scarce and expensiveGood Luck ....I would NEVER EVER GO BACK

Absolutely unique with the colored alpaca in their pens. Helpful young photographer! Exquisite yarn designs. Love finding the same Noro knitted ginormous shawl I wore on that windy morning!

Still requires a mask to shop. I’d rather spend money in a shop that isn’t ridiculously requiring masks, 2.5 years after mask mandates were lifted.

The owner is incredibly nice and very knowledgeable about all the different types of yarn being sold. Also, very grateful to see someone else still taking the pandemic seriously

The atmosphere is lovely and you get to see the alpacas in the field as you drive up to the shop. The ladies that work and sit in the shop are spinning yarn (whether to sell or to make something with it) and they answer any questions that ypu may have when it comes to spinning wool

Three things that miss about New Jersey.1. The Yarn Shop at Alma Park.2. Wawa3. The Pine Barrens.Yes. In that order. Rose, her animals, and her shop are above even Wawa.
